This is defiantly not my favorite facial scrub. My skin type is oily and sensitive and I found when using this scrub it was way to abrasive for my skin and left i it stinging for a while after use. It seemed more like a body scrub than a facial scrub to me. And for someone that has oily skin this stuff somehow completely dried my skin out! Was not impressed at all.

Tips: Don't use you shouldn't be using a product that is so abrasive on your skin there is many better more gentle alternatives out there.
This product is definitely addictive, it leaves such a nice and smooth feeling after use. I have used this product over and over because of this effect however I have quite clear skin so don't know what the results of clearing up skin would be like.
Tips: Don't use it more than it says!! It is quite rough and although it makes you feel like its working so well you don't want to scrub off the new skin layers underneath as this will make your skin worse!
The product comes in a nice squeezy tube, smells good, thick creamy consistency, and has brown exfoliating particles.Normally I use this scrub to exfoliate my body,I think it helps to keep in grown hairs at bay. I did use this scrub on my face when I first got into scrubs, it left my skin soft, smooth, and clear. After using this only a regular basis I did notice that my skin looked healthier.I will still go back to this scrub if I run out of my higher end exfoliators.
Tips: May help prevent ingrown hairs to some extent, if used regularly.
I love this brand of scrubs. I've been using these for probably 10 years. I usually buy the sensitive one but I bought this one in a giftset. It is a bit harsher then I'm used to and it did take me a while to get used to it but I love it now. I use this in the shower, every second day and just use a pea size amount after cleansing. The bottle lasts forever. I think I've had mine open for about 6 months and there is still a quarter bottle left so it makes this product really great value. I will definitely keep buying this product and other scrubs from this range.
Tips: Don't go overboard with scrubbing otherwise you may make your skin go red. I do like to focus on my nose and cheeks the most. I have more dryer skin around those areas and I feel it helps get rid of any flakiness.
This scrub is great for frequent use. I use it every second day and it is great for getting rib of make up residue and any impurities. Your skin feels lovely and soft afterwards and it has never caused me any irritation even though I have quite sensitive skin. The smell is nice and subtle.
Tips: Use a moisturising cleanser in between uses.
#233 review..should you need another review lol I like this scrub, it instantly makes me skin feel smooth and all those pores clean, I don't use it too often as I find it causes my skin to break out more regularly, but its good at the end of the week to refresh before the weekend :)
Tips: there is another St Ives scrub available that is more sensitive
This scrub is ok - I'm not a personal fan mainly because I've found ones that are more effective, however for the price it's ok. I thought that the exfoliating bits in the product can be quite uneven in shape and sometimes can be quite scratchy.
this is the only face exfoliant I will ever use. Trust me it is amazing. Super thick and scrubby feels like you have a whole new face afterwards. Cleared my acne up, simply amazing.
I used to use this scrub every day for years, and I loved it, my face felt smooth, however I did notice the size of my pores getting larger over time. I went to a dermatologist and she advised me to stop using St Ives as is is far too harsh and that was the cause of my bad pores. I haven't used it for almost a year now and my skin and pores have never been better. I know this is the top rated face scrub on the market and it is a really reasonable price but just not worth it in the long run. In saying this though, I do still use it on my body and its perfect for this especially before tannning and I think it also has helped me with in grown hairs!
Tips: Perfect for the body, not so much the face.
Yes yes yes!! This is my one and only. Not only affordable in price but a great exfoliator . I use it all over my body and especially after shaving to prevent in grown hairs !! I wouldn't recommend for sensitive skin but I'm pretty sure ST Ives did a sensitive skin version . This is too harsh for my face but perfect for my body
Tips: To get a deep exfoliate, exfoliate dry before you hop in the shower . Sounds crazy but it works! Mix in your hands with a little water if too much
