As someone who loves all things beauty and spends a lot of time looking after my skin, I almost feel bad about loving this product as I constantly hear bad feedback about it. I can see why people say this is a harsh and abrasive exfoliator, because, well, it is! But for me, when my skin is feeling dull or congested, one of the best feelings in the world is scrubbing away all that yuckiness with a good, hearty exfoliator. St Ives, leaves my skin not only feeing but looking fresh and bright. I use this once or twice a week and the generous sized tube lasts me over 6 months. This, combined with its cheap price tag makes this product such a bargain! It is also super handy that this product is available for purchase at Countdown and Pak n Save. Its been a staple in my beauty drawer for many years now and will continue to be for some time.

Tips: Be gentle! And don’t forget to exfoliate your neck, its just as important as your face.
It swear I have used this St Ives apricot scrub since I was a teenager and it still never fails to deliver. It is simple packaging, but practical for applications, thick but not overly dense formula that allows good heavy scrub but also the ability to massage a greater skin area and get even results - especially for pre tan scrub!! It smells lovely, and is natural smelling and feeling.
I've used this product for years & would never go back. I tend to get quite a lot of blackheads/whiteheads that are so hard to get rid of especially on my nose & most face scrubs I find that the micro scrubby buts in the face wash tend to do nothing. After the first time I used this like 80% of my blackheads/whiteheads were gone & my skin was soooo soft!! And also its great for preventing break outs!
Tips: Use small circular movements :) Happy scrubbing !
Is a very nice product a game changer !! , deeply exfoliates to give you a a glowing radiant skin , however do not use this product everyday!! as if you use everyday too much exfoliation can irritate your skin .
My self as I have a T zone forehead, nose and chin a bit more oily then other areas I concentrate on these areas , using St Eves 2-3 to times a week should be ok .
It has a nice fresh apricot scent also paraben free and Hypoallergenic
You can find this product at most pharmacies and supermarkets Retail price : $ 9.00 or even less, good quantity for money ,comes in a bottle of 150 ml
Tips: Always moisten your face with water first, put a little bit of facial scrub onto your fingers and massage over the areas you would like to target best .
my favorite scrub! smells yummy and my skin feels so soft and clean when I have used it and I found it didn't dry out my skin at all. As the product is quite rough I found I had to be really gentle when using and only used twice a week. But I would definitely recommend and use regularly!! :)
Tips: don't rub too hard when using :)
So good!
I love the smell of this both in the shower and afterwards as it holds for a long time. The exfoliating beads in the scrub makes your skin soft and feeling fresh. One of my favourite go to products especially in the summer after swimming in the pool and getting rid of the Cholorine or at the beach and getting moisture back into your skin
Tips: I have quite hard skin so go to town on my legs etc but on my arms where I am sensitive only small portions and light rub is needed
I decided to use St Ives Apricot Scrub after many years of not using it and I have to say that I am not a big fan. The fragrance of it was so so and the scrub particles were few and far between. I ended using this as a skin exfoliant on my body instead as it ended up being counteractive and clogging up my pores. I don't think that this is the product for me.
I get a lot of dry/dead skin so for me a scrub is a necessity. A quick search of BR while standing in the supermarket led me to try this one.
I like that the exfoliating "beads" are natural, and not microbeads. They seem to be mostly crushed walnut shells according to the ingredients list.
The cream portion of the product is very thick but does spread well. The crushed shells are quite large though so does feel a bit strange to be massaging into your skin. It didn't seem to cause any damage or breakouts though.
The first time I used it, my pores shrunk a lot and my skin was very smooth and clear. Some of my skin pigmentation lightened and almost disappeared. The pigmentation did return though and the exfoliator has stopped shrinking my pores. They're now the same size as they were before using this product the first time.
Overall, it's not a bad product but my skin does seem to have become a bit resistant to its effects.
I have been using this scrub on and off for years. It always leaves my skin smooth and soft. I have never had any problems with dryness or skin irritation (I have slightly sensitive skin). It can be either a deep or gently scrub depending on the pressure applied.
Personally, I struggle with moderately oily skin and black heads on my nose - so I love this product!! It has an intense scrub (so probably not appropriate for sensitive skin) so really cleans deep, getting into those pores and removing that dead skin. You are left fresh, smooth skin :) If you do have normal to dry skin, you will definitely want to moisturise as it does leave the skin a bit dry. I have/will be repurchasing :)
Tips: Use at night then lather face with moisturiser to wake up clean and soft :)
