I rarely have manicured nails because of my work but I love to have brightly painted toes. OPI lacquers are a favourite choice for my pedicure. They have an exhaustive range of colours and the formulation is excellent. I find the brush firm enough for precise application, the lacquer flows evenly and two thin coats provides good coverage. Other cheaper brands I have found to be patchy after even three or four coats. OPI lacquer sets well and appears to wear well. I usually get two weeks out of a carefully applied pedicure. This is fairly costly nail varnish so not usually purchased on a whim. However it seems to have a long shelf life, I can come back to colours after a year unopened and they are as good as ever.

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
I am an avid collector of O.P.I. polishes and have well over 50+ different colours. Painting my nails is a stress reliever, and I tend to paint them every 2-3 days. I hate seeing chipped nails, so as soon as they get chipped or start to look a bit drab then a new colour is quickly applied.
I love the selection of colours that OPI has - from bright and bold, to neutral and classic, to glitters, metallics, shatter and matte! They really have thought of colours to suit every personality.
Tips: Painting your nails to such a simple, cheap and effective way to brighten up an outfit, and to feel pretty and positive!
I absolutely adore this nail polish! The liquid sand it the cutest idea from OPI EVER! I like how this is a subtle colour so I can wear it to work and not get in trouble and in addition it only requires 2 light applications for full coverage so I don’t feel like I’m wasting any. It was also really easy to remove from my fingers when I slipped up. I enjoyed how well it went with any outfit. It is defiantly a staple nail polish in my little collection.
I Love OPI nail polish! It lasts on my nails so much longer than any other brand. The range of colours is brilliant and I love how well it it goes on my nails. The price can be a bit steep but the nail polish lasts well, I have some bottles that are a few years old and still going strong.
Tips: For best results with OPI I always use a base and top coat.
I have used this O.P.I colour for my nails, and it is the only O.P.I product I will use. I was not pleased at all, I had to apply 3 coats to get any decent coverage, And after 2 days It was already chipping away. I wasn't pleased at all
I think that most OPI polishes formulas are over-rated, there not that great and chip easily if you don't use one of their top coats, there base and top coats are amazing but I don't love there normal colours formulas, they do have an amazing colour selection though.
Tips: Try using the OPI top and base coats
This is s good quality range. I have a couple of bottles that are over 5 years old and they're still going strong! Long lasting colour, good coverage when applying and a fantastic colour range that keeps up with the times as well as keeping the classic colours. I paint my nails every week and have a lot of different brands and types of polish and this is definitely one of my preferred brands. A little more expensive than the other brands so I don't buy it often, but it's such good quality that I don't need to as it doesn't seem to degrade over time,
I LOVE that they have just an array of fabulous colours, but they are not the bee knees, in my humble opinion. $2 Shop's (Made in USA) brand JORDANA has quite a range of gorgeous colours; the pink, lavender and turquoise polishes only needed ONE coat and lasts just as long as any of OPI's. Kmart's $5 (Made in USA) brand SINFUL COLORS is aaamaaazing! Sooo many gorgeous hues, incredibly chip-resistant and so opaque (of course that's dependent on the nail polish colour/finish). Even Kleancolor (available from Postie+) does a bang up job.
Tips: I'm just saying- don't shop just for the brand. There are equally (if not better) brands sitting quietly on shelves out there, that cost a small fraction of OPI's price. 1 bottle of OPI = 4 bottles of Sinful Color.
A well known brand I must say. It can be really expensive if your purchasing from Farmers/drug stores but you can get them a lot cheaper especially from Trademe and wholesale places. The polishes seem to not last long for me, I'd say a week then it starts chipping. But despite using other brands, I will always love my OPIs just because the brand, the bottle, the brush and how it dries pretty quick.
OPI is great ! colours are gorgeous, and long lasting in comparison to most other brands which i love (far too easy to get lazy with nails). I do wish however the colours were slightly more opaque as you do need quite a few coats to get the gorgeous colour it looks like in the bottle !
Tips: if you like me and don't want to be painting nails all the time make sure you purchase the clear top coat and apply that after the nail polish, lasts so much longer ! love it !
