After trying OPI I haven't used another brand of nail polish, the gorgeous colours with heaps of variety is awesome, along with the quality of the polish that doesn't flake or chip. Although to love it, it leaves my nails dry and flakey after regular use.

OpI nail Lacquer's have a large colour range which means theres a colour to suit every occasion! It has great lasting power that lasts a full week, with minimal chips. people are always commenting on how professionally done my nails look!
Tips: Put on two coats of the colour with a top and base coat to get longer lasting nails. The matte top coat provides a great finish, though doesn't have the lasting power of the original top coat as it can start to crack after a few days.
This was a bit of an impulse purchase but I really like it. It was easy to apply and wore really well. I also liked the texture.
Tips: Remember you don't need a top coat.
The only nail polish I have ever owned to last more than a week and actually not obliterate my natural nail coating!
Tips: Make sure to get the polish and top coat on the tip of your nails for extra long lasting effect.
I love the great range of colours OPI has. They are definitely on the expensive side, but the dark colours at least seem less prone to chipping, so they last longer than, for example, AVON nail polishes. They also don't smell quite as bad as cheaper nail polishes when wet.
OPI is well known for their nail polishes and have a wide range of colours. I have a collection of OPI nail polishes and the are the best brand that I use. But these are expensive being priced at $25 each and I think they kind of dry up/expire really quickly
Tips: Make sure you have a enough time to dry
My favourite of all time OPI is just spotted the lizard. I seriously adore this colour, its stays on for ages and doesn't chip as much as other products. I love the colour change polish!
Absolutely love OPI nail polishes and have quite a collection with some of my absolute favs coming from the Skyfall collection. Fortunately I find OPI polishes keep really well when stored in a cool dark place so I can have some variety and then fall in love with different colours in my collection all over again. This polish always gets comments when I wear it and is definitely a colour not out of place in the office. It seems to pick up hues of whatever colour you are wearing. Great summer or winter colour
Tips: Always wear a base coat and for a change this colour also looks great (and like a whole new polish) when worn with OPI matt coat finish.
a polish that lasts a long time if applied well. doesn't chip, really nice shiny finishes and a great matte top coat available.
Tips: use 2 -3 coats to get a true colour and ensure you have enough drying time
I received my first OPI nail polish as a Christmas present from a friends mum. It was Black Onyx. I fell in love with OPI instantly. Fast forward 5-6 years and my love affair with OPI is that of a love/hate relationship. Some colours are perfect and only require two coats for full coverage. Others can look nice in the bottle but lack wow factor once on the nail. On the odd occasion my nails have still been transparent even after three coats.
Another thing I have noticed since trying other brands such as Essie and Sally Hansen is that OPI tends to chip quicker than the mentioned brands, even with a top and base coat. But i think that OPI has adjusted it's prices accordingly to make up for this.
The thing that OPI has going for it is that they always bring out new colours and advertise them really well. So if I am looking in a magazine I will usually see a range there and will know the colour I want before even going into the store to purchase it.
Overall, a few colours are a miss but when you find a good OPI colour it makes it all worth it!
Hits: Monsooner Or Later, Red My Fortune Cookie, Black Onyx, Fly, Play The Peonies (requires three coats but totally worth it).
Misses: Alpine Snow, Black Cherry Chutney, any glitter polish (i'm not a fan).
Tips: Try it for yourself.
