OPI is a very clever, well established brand. The reel us in with the ginormous ranges of colours and the fabulous, sometimes very witty names.
I wouldn't say they are my absolute favourite brand of polish, probably mostly because the hefty NZ price tag breaks my heart. I've found the formulation varies alot between different colours/finishes. Some I've found have been very long lasting, others chip shortly after application. Some are more opaque then others but sometimes I prefer a more sheer colour. I suppose they are pretty versatile, 2-3 coats and you're guaranteed a great opaque colour.
I've found a few of the bottles in my collection seperate after sitting for a while, so I like to give them a shake every now and then. Always a good excuse to just sit and admire how pretty they are!! I have also had a bottle break on me while travelling with about 5-6 bottles all in a little makeup bag, very hard lesson to learn but they are not indestuctable like I thought!
"Do you Lilac it?" is the best!! If you are a purple fan, do not go past this one!!!
I love o.p.i nail polishes, they have amazing colours and the formula is lovely. I have a few colours and i love them so much. The colour pay off it amazing and is so vibrant. I usually apply a base coat, 2 coats of colour and top coat to make sure my colour lasts and so it will help it not chip as easy. I usually leave the colour on for a week and then change colours. O.P.I also many colours that you fall in love with, and maybe it will suit the mood your in. I have noticed some of nail polishes do separate but if you just shake the product it works fine. The price is really expensive and I usually wait for a sale or check out nzsale or big bucket sales as they are cheaper. Overall I love O.P.I.
