I absolutely love this lipstick they are great and the even last long. They are a little bit pricy but it's the worth of my money!
It looked amazing on me and with a satin finish wasn't as drying as a matte finish or as wet as a gloss
As a redhead, I thought I'd never be able to find a red that looked good on me. Until I went to a mac counter and got matched. I brought Ruby Woo, a matte red which suits me perfectly, bringing out my complexion and blue eyes. It's truly long lasting, incredibly matte and pigmented, and has a pleasant vanilla smell. My only issue with this lipstick was that it seemed to "pill" creating little balls like a wool sweater, or damp paper that's been rubbed. I suppose this is probably because of it's mattness, because it's not slippery or very soft it rolls rather than slides with friction. It's easily fixed though, i just lightly wipe of the pills with a tissue before applying.
Tips: Use a lipbrush/lip pencil to outline because any mistakes are especially hard to clean up (due to it's high pigmentation)
I am truly in love with these lipsticks! They're smooth on your lips, smell delicious, and they're great range of colours looks amazing on! You can always find the perfect colour to suit whatever style/look.
I love Mac lippies, they're soft, they smell nice, they last for ages and they come in so many amazing shades, I adore mine and if i could afford to just buy mac i would. So far I have creme cup, rebel, snob, velvet teddy, ruby woo and peach blossom. I am totally in love with them and use them so often. Obviously they are a little pricey but I promise it's worth it!
I love a deep red lipstick, but it's hard to find out that lasts the distance and keeps its colour ... this is a very matte lipstick and can feel a bit dry if you're more used to a glossy finish - but it is a true blue based red and has the best lasting power - will make it through dinner with no touch ups needed!
Tips: Lip liner is a must - draw your lips then lightly shade in with the pencil to provide the best durability
I haven't brought a Mac Lipstick as I felt they were so expensive. But I finally succumbed and got Mac Amplified in the shade Cosmo. It is such a great everyday colour and works perfectly with my skin. It's is so creamy on and lasts quite a while. I wouldn't buy Mac for every lipstick I want but for the special occasions I'd definitely get a Mac Lippie!
Tips: Wear a lip liner underneath to help colour last and not bleed (especially with darker colours - red etc) oh and if you're going through duty free make sure you stock up!!
First I got introduce by my eldest daughter about MAC products, I was hesitant at first. I have always been using the same products eversince then MAC lipstick came along... my overview about new lipstick has totally changed. I am now an official user of MAC lipstick and i have also started using MAC foundation and MAC primer!!!! Amazing products....
Tips: Dub a bit of lip balm first before applying your lipstick.
I love a good matte lipstick that has all day staying power, especially if it's a blue-based red and Russian Red ticks all of the boxes.
Tips: Remember to hydrate your lips beforehand! MAC mattes and retro mattes are MATTE! so you may have some drying to your lips. Swipe some lip balm on 10 mins before, then blot it off before you apply your lipstick. Your lipstick will go on smoothly and your lips will thank you later :)
