Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I used this bb cream and I really enjoy it. I feel as though is very light on my skin and really evens out my tone. It also brightens my overall complexion which I like. I have quite sensitive skin and this product has been such a pleasure to review. I also will say that it has nearly no smell which is so nice. Unlike an other bb creams I have used. Would definitely buy this and definitely recommend to anyone who wants a really beautiful bb cream.

I tend to have normal/ dry skin that tends to be sensitive around the eye area and have been looking for a low- medium coverage product that would suit my skin type for ages! When I was given the opportunity to trial the Sensitive Garnier BB cream I was ready to put it to the test!

First off, the packaging is sturdy with a flip top lid and squeezy tube which makes it really easy to control the amount of product that comes out. The colour of the tube is a metallic golden/ beige and whilst it's not the most eye-catching colour it's not terrible either!

Initially I was a bit weary of how thick and dark the BB cream looked when I first squeezed some out onto my finger tips! I am normally the shade medium/ medium beige in foundations and have yellow undertones and this looked much too dark for me!) However, I was pleasantly surprised when it blended easily when I used my fingers and how it actually suited my skin colour perfectly when it was on my face!

The Garnier BB cream sensitive has a gorgeous finish which is slightly dewy, making the skin look healthy and radiant. The coverage wasn't as full as I expected so I touched up with a little bit of concealer on my red cheeks but overall my skin-tone definitely appeared more even when compared to a normal moisturiser. It was also fairly moisturising too so I didn't need to wear a moisturiser under it despite my dry skin.

Throughout the day my skin didn't get oily which was a bonus, though it did seem to wear off a little after a full day out. When I tried setting it with a powder it definitely stayed on for longer! After a few days of wearing Garnier's sensitive BB cream I haven't had any flare ups and my skin seems to agree with the product well.

Overall I am very impressed with this product and have actually had a few compliments about how good my skin looks when I have been wearing this BB cream! If that's not a sign of a good product I don't know what is! :P

I must say I was nicely surprised with this product. It promises so much and it delivered for me. Some of the promises are, that skin tone is more even for 90% of women in 4 weeks, well I'm already seeing the difference in mine every night when I clean my face, and the box says that immediately on application of the product you will notice skin is soothed, intensely hydrated and redness is reduced and it has done all this for me, when I put it on it makes my skin so smooth and even looking, it doesn't completely get rid of my freckles but it does blur them so that they don't stand out.

It is a lovely light consistency that glides on very easily! I just used my fingers to apply and you don't need much at all for it to cover your whole face.

This product is fragrance free, and I have had no reaction in the week I have been using it, so that gets a big tick from me as most things with strong fragrances give me eczema.

The packaging is just a picture of the product with a black background, so nothing special. The product itself comes in a handy 50ml size perfect for chucking in the handbag.

One gripe I do have is that I did have to apply it again halfway through the day, it had faded and rubbed off although my skin was still moisturised from it.

Altogether this is the perfect everyday product for me, Its made my morning routine a lot quickly, I don't have to use foundation and powder anymore (unless I'm going out to dinner or somewhere that requires fuller coverage) to get even skin tone. I put it on with some mascara and it is lovely and light and I feel like I'm wearing nothing but moisturiser.

I have even already started recommending it to my family as they have been telling me that my skin looks so lovely and healthy.

This product promises a daily solution to correct a variety of skin problems, which I feel it delivers on in most areas. As a regular foundation wearer I have in recent months been trying to wean myself off full-on coverage foundation and tinted moisturiser's are now my new favourite product! On first try, I was happy with the consistency of the cream, it wasn't so thin or too thick, just right. The scent is very pleasant too. The UV protection was a huge bonus for me as I have particularly fair skin and like to wear sunscreen every day. I have tried other tinted moisturisers which feel more like applying a very light foundation, however, the Garnier BB Cream definitely felt as though I was applying a moisturiser with some added benefits! It gave a light glow to the skin, taking the edge off that white tired look I wake up with most mornings. I haven't experienced any irritation or side effects which is fantastic. I would say I don't think it really does last 24 hours, perhaps it hydrates for that long but the coverage is not really long-wearing. However it is so easy to apply that it's not hard work to re-apply after work ready to out again that evening. The packaging is appealing and I also noted the directions mention that if you would like a little more coverage you can apply a second time which I think is fantastic for those who, like me, are trying to wean themselves off full foundation.

I found with this product to get the extra staying power and coverage I needed, I did as the box said and waited for the first coat to dry and applied another and it gave me great cover but still not as much as I like.

It has a lovely thick mousse like texture and covers very well, I use it as a primer under my foundation to give me the extra coverage I need.

It goes on smoothly and blends very well,my skin looked a lot smother and more even, especially with the help of the beauty blender, I did find it was better not to use a moisturiser underneath otherwise it had blotchy coverage for me, I guess because the moisturiser I used is very thick. This cream is actually quite moisturising on my face, but doesn't leave you with a shiny face.

I haven't had any reactions from this product at all, I did get a little tingling feeling in my under eye area, so I just avoided this area all together and it's been fine since. This product isn't overly fragrance either.

I have used products with allantoin before and to me its honestly a miracle ingredient for reducing my redness, and this product was no different, disguised my redness perfectly.

Will definitely purchase again, and really love the fact it is SPF 15 aswell, an added bonus.

I have used this BB cream every day for a week now. So far I'm really loving it. It gives nice light coverage (which I love for every day), is a great match to my fair complexion (this is always a struggle) and has SPF (a must!). I'm not sure that it has reduced my redness, but it certainly hasn't made it worse. I also haven't had any itchiness or discomfort round my eye area or neck (where my skin is most sensitive to irritation) so for sensitive skin it's a winner! Another aspect I enjoy about this formula is that my t-zone hasn't been oily at the end of the day like it is with other products. It glides onto your skin easily and blends out flawlessly. A little goes a long way too. I tried applying it a couple of different ways and fingers is definitely best. The finish wasn't as nice with a brush. However, I do still like to use a brush after fingers to blend my hairline. I have used the other two Garnier BBs and this is my absolute favourite by far. I honestly love it and will repurchase.

I've previously tried about four other BB creams, none of which were even close to my skintone, most were too dark or too orange, however this one is almost perfect! It's definitely for light skin tones, with a slightly pink undertone. I wear ivory in Revlon foundations, and I'm slightly lighter than MAC NW15. The consistency of the BB is thick at first but it does blend nicely to a thin layer. It does feel slightly oily however it doesn't give your skin an oily finish. The coverage is sheer, it definitely evens out skin tone, but doesn't cover spots, so it's perfect for good skin days, or under foundation on problem areas. It does rub off a bit by the end of the day when worn alone. It has a slight smell to it, almost like a sunblock, but you can't smell after application. My skin is quite sensitive, other BB's have made by skin itchy or quite red after wearing it for a few hours, thankfully it was not the case this time, no sort of irritation whatsoever!!! I am super pleased with this BB and will continue to purchase it once I have run out!

This BB cream is fantastic, for someone with sensitive skin the lightness and feel of this product was amazing, even in the heat this product doesn't sweat. Application Is simple with your fingers or brush and it glides on without any clumps, for me it evened out my skin tone and made freckles less obvious, I used it as a base for makeup as well allowing a great finish. Knowing it has sub protection made me feel more confident going without makeup and it's lightness on the skin also gave the whole "no makeup" feel. Price is good for this type as there is many BB creams on the market, product packaging is simple and adequate for what it needs, and is attractive. The squeeze bottle is great for travelling with, meaning easy of application on the go.

This is one of the best BB creams I've tried. It's consistency is a lot thicker than the Maybelline BB cream meaning it feels like more than just a tinted moisturiser. my skin is very dry and can be sensitive but I've had no issues with this as it is very hydrating. The coverage is definitely incredibly sheer, and I found I still had a lot of redness showing through after putting it on. I also found I needed to powder after as it definitely leaves a very dewey finish, perhaps a little too dewey for me. I definitely still prefer this to wearing a foundation however as it is not only a sheer coverage makeup (perfect for work), but has helped my skin feel less dry also! win!

I love this product- even after only using it for a week I am converted from my old BB cream. I have tried many different brands and what the Garnier sensitive offers is a fragrance free, non greasy light base for my make up. I have used it mixed with my foundation for my difficult areas, but I have actually found that I do not need to use foundation any more on my whole face as the Garnier gives a lovely, even coverage and I just finish with a light mineral powder and it lasts all day. I have found many BB creams are very greasy and really make my eyes sting, this being a sensitive formula with no added perfumes is perfect for my skin type - no watering eyes at all. Also the light colour is exactly that- I have very pale skin and a lot of light shades are very organgey and way too dark - with the Garnier light shade it looks natural and gives my skin a lovely glow. Very pleased with this product and will continue to use it after the sample has gone.
