Have to say this doesn't always agree with my skin type and I do prefer the MAC strobe cream, in saying this it does have a good amount of sheen to it. Would only use maybe once a week due it clogging up my pores too much...hello breakouts if your not careful.

Tips: Use wisely.
This was the first ever primer i used. SO i instantly fell in love. i tried some others and came back to this. It's great! works perfectly with my skin. helps leave a smooth complection. helps my foundation last longer. The only down fall is i can only use it a few times a week otherwise i find it clogs my pores and i break out. Just make sure you really wash your face with a beaded face wash to make sure you get it all out :)
It's totally my fault for buying this primer even though my skin type is very oily. I would definitely recommend this to my friends with dry skin as it is luminous and HYDRATING but on my skin I looked like a shiny alien that dumped their head in a deep fryer full of oil LOL i agree it can be used as a base but not alone as it makes you look like metallic cellophane.
Tips: Not for oily skin guys and gals
It was okay I don't think its good to use as a primer I didn't notice any thing different after using it .
This product is great for all over luminization on the face, it has a thinner consistency than strobe cream but is pretty much identical to the now discontinued strobe liquid. Does a great job of giving the face a glowing appearance.
Tips: Can make the skin appear oily over time if you use too much or have oily skin to begin with - I use it as a primer and pinpoint dry areas only.
I highly enjoy using this primer every day. It makes your face (and your hands) shimmery. I think that is helps my foundation go on smoothly and stay on pretty well out through the day.
I have to admit while I do enjoy using this primer my review is based around the fact I bought this product for $10 overseas. For that reason I think it does a nice job at adding a luminosity to the face and giving the skin some slip so foundation glides over easily.
While it does add a glow and hydration neither of these lasted on my face and after an hour or so you wouldnt know I had used it (a shame as I love dewy skin).
The fluid is runny, lightweight, blends easily and has a shimmer glow (not glittery) which I love. I'm not sure if this primer is also meant to make your makeup last longer or not but cant say it prolonged the wear of my foundation at all.
I really do not think it is worth $38 (especially for 20mls) and would not recommend nor purchase it for that price point. Sure, give it a go if you can pick it up cheap though.
I liked what this primer was offering however my oily skin did not. I recommend this for people with dry to normal skin as it hydrates and gives you a nice healthy glow.
Tips: Doesn't help the unlucky oily skin folks :(
After hearing how amazing L'Oreal Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer is from friends and from reading reviews on here I bought it to find out for myself.
The packaging is sleek and really quite pretty. I enjoy the pump, though all my primers feature pumps so I guess that's standard.
The product is a little more liquid than I expected and the first time I used it I used way too much and looked like I'd doused myself in highlighter - so at least I knew it actually was an illuminator. Since then I've found about a two-third pump covers my face nicely without going overboard.
The scent is not my favourite. It smells quite chemical, however I don't notice it once it's on along with my other makeup.
My skin does look more radiant once used, however I don't notice my makeup staying on longer than usual, and also even though my skin's quite dry, though normal on my T-zone, it feels a touch oily by the end of the day and not in a good way. I imagine this would be ideal for those with completely dry skin.
I'll continue to use this on the days that my skin is extra dry, but I won't repurchase as I have other primers that work better, and I'll just use highlighters to give myself luminosity.
I had heard many great things about this product in the past, and was always looking out for when I could possibly get my hands on it... but let's be completely honest. Seeing as I'm only 18 years old, it's not exactly easy to fork out $38 on what is intended on being a drugstore product. So whilst I was overseas, I noticed this product was selling a lot cheaper over there than it was here, so I grabbed it fast. Not one regret. This primer feels great on my skin, it makes my skin look awake and illuminated and when i apply my foundation over it, it looks pretty good if i say so myself. Definitely liking this product so much, I had to go back and buy another one to bring back home with me.
Tips: You can also apply this over the top of your foundation as a liquid highlighter!
