MAC Pro Longwear Foundation Review

I don't know if I got a bad batch but I just didn't love this foundation. In a big MAC fan but this just didn't work on my skin. I have combination skin and I found that by the end of the day it had gathered around my cheeks and chin and looked cakey. I've never had this issue before and I've never had to powder throughout the day but I think this could have helped. I also found it was ally of work to buff it into the skin which I, once again, haven't found with any other foundation. There was such hype around this foundation I was expecting magic but I just feel disappointed. As soon as it's applied it looks fine but I definatly don't think it's long wearing.

I tried this recently to wear for the day. I found the coverage not very full, and it felt very drying on the skin. I'm sure i could have built it up a bit more though, and have to admit it sat nicely on the skin..for about half an hour. I got it put on for me at a counter, and then went about my day. I found that my skin started to feel quite dry, and i ended up going into a bathroom taking it off and putting my loreal infallible back on instead. this might be great on an oilier skin, but if its dry, stay away!

Applied it, Loved it. The coverage was great. Looked flawless. 4 hours later i go to touch up and OMG. It literally had fallen off my face.I don't have really oily skin. only some days here and there. but it had literally separated on my face. looked very unattractive. I've used it again and mixed it with other foundations and it was alright, but by itself i'm not too impressed. especially for the price and the fact i got matched to it.. not a favorite at all.

After running out of my MAC studio fix I felt like i had to get it again so I went into a mac store but they did not have my colour in the studio fix and I couldn't wait for it to come in again so I decided to the Pro long wear. I really regret doing that as I feel like Its not full coverage so Im applying a lot more product than need be, but could be a could product if full coverage is not needed for your skin type but for me personally would not be buying again

This was the first ever MAC product that I had use. I bought it and used it along with MAC pro longerwear concealer. At first using this foundation I found it okay. I had no complaints. It offered medium coverage for me and stayed on for a reasonable amount of time and it was relatively easy to apply. After awhile into using this foundation it started to make my face look dark orange.... it looked terrible. I definitely wouldn't use this foundation again. Because it is a high end brand it is on the pricier side- I don't think the price is worth it though, well not for me at least. I don't understand the hype about MAC products, there are much better products which are drugstore products and are much more cheaper.

I find this always oxidises on me and looks awful by midday. I prefer most of the other MAC foundations to pro long wear
