MAC Pro Longwear Foundation Review

I hadn't tried any mac foundation for a long time because I didn't feel the need to spend so much money on it. I finally decided to buy it in duty free and I can say I'm impressed. It is a thicker liquid then what in usually used to but once it's on your face it doesn't feel thick at all and it's dries nicely!

Only down side is it only pumps really small amounts out and 2 is usually not enough but somehow I tend to pump more out and I waste it.

Mac Prolongwear was my first ever Mac product I had picked up also I was excited to try it. I've had it for about 8 months now and I still love it. It has great coverage and if applied correctly doesn't look cakey at all. It lasts me a good 2-3 hours without applying a setting spray or finishing powder and I have quite oily skin (to me is good since I didn't add powder or spray). The pump lid is great for travelling as you just have to turn the cap to the right to prevent it from allowing excess product to pump out when it is moving around. I doesnt feel heavy on my face which is a bonus considering its full coverage because I hate that cakey feeling on my face it makes me want to scratch it off. For me I only need 2-3 pumps so a little goes a long way.

All day, every day! Love this foundation and wear it every day. It provides awesome coverage, but doesn't feel heavy. I have super sensitive dry skin, that can't handle ANY change, but no matter what I try, I always come back to this foundation.

My all time favourite foundation! Lasts all day, really natural and buildable.. great for everyday and for a special occassion. DEFZ A MUST HAVE!!!!

I recently got this product for my birthday and I love it already! It has really nice coverage for daytime wear and lasts ALL day - especially when set with a powder. I wear it with MAC mineralise concealer for full coverage. It goes on really easily - I usually apply with a flat foundation brush, but I'm sure it could be buffed in with a kabuki or applied with a sponge. I generally have dry skin and it seems to be quite moisturising to wear! Feels really light on the skin too

I switched to this foundation as MAC discontinued my last foundation (something which they tend to do quite a bit...) and wasn't disappointed. I was used to using foundation sticks but this transition was easy! Bought it duty free so it was cheaper than online/in-store and the sales assistant was so helpful considering I had been on my way home for 24 hours! The coverage is fantastic and blends well. Would also add that I was a bit concerned the bottle would mean it ended up all over the inside of my handbag but it was fine.

I love this foundation. By far the best one I have ever used. Although it took me few visits to MAC store to get the right color for my skin. Had to giveaway the ones didnt suit my skin tone to friends and relatives. Yes, ouch says my wallet! Hey no complaints now, I have found the right foundation with the right color to match my skin tone :) I used this product for my wedding too and everyone complimented on the flawless makeup I was sporting that didn't touch up at all. This foundation does last long. I sometime use it to work as well and it make me look fresh all day.

This is what I currently use, it was recommended to me by a make-up artist. I wear this to work and on nights out with a translucent powder over the top and it stays on all day. Enough coverage to hide imperfections but not so much that you cannot see my skin through it.

MAC Pro Longwear is amazing! I personally always own a MAC Foundation at one point in time, and it’s either Studio Fix or Pro Longwear. Still trying to work out which one I prefer better, but with the staying power that comes with the MAC Pro Longwear I think I’m starting to find a favourite.

Most of us are all after the same thing when it comes to foundation, something that will last? Well, most products I have found claim to last all day in some way or another. But this one little beauty ticks nearly all the boxes. It can applied for a light coverage but also built up to a more heavier coverage. The foundation initially gave a dewy finish, but I usually set my foundation with Rimmel “Stay Matte” Powder.

I recently went on a MAC makeup shopping spree after reading all the great reviews on BR about MAC products. When at the counter the MAC man suggested I use the Pro longwear foundation. I have been really happy with this foundation. It gives a medium to full coverage that is buildable without being to heavy or cakey. It goes on really nicely with a foundation brush and drys with a natural not too matte not too dewy finish. It stays on my skin all day and goes perfect with the studio fix powder and matte bronzer. I prefer this as an everyday foundation as it hasn't made my skin change breakout and really lasts. It is great that it comes in a pump bottle to avoid any mess.
