Are you feeling bored with your hair? If you don't fancy a complete restyle, a change in colour can be just the thing to liven your current do and give your hair a new lease of life.
For some of us changing colour is a scary prospect; up there with going cutting your long hair to a pixie crop. Colouring your hair at home is even more terrifying - what if it goes wrong? What if it damages your hair?
But colouring your hair at home doesn't have to be difficult or scary. Recent innovations in hair colouring technology offer shades to suit everyone and formulas to enrich and nourish your hair, leaving it healthier than it was before you started!
Those clever scientist-y folks at Schwarzkopf have discovered the secret for strong coloured hair is to protect the hair against damage from the inside. And they've gone and put that technology not only into their new care range (which has rave reviews by the way!) but also into the colour itself!
We're looking for FIFTY members to put the first at-home hair colour incorportating PLEX technology to the test. Schwarzkopf Colour Specialist contains OMEGAPLEX® technology that strengthens the micro-bonds within the hair strand, which bridge connections between the fibrils. It protects the hair as it colours with 100% grey coverage and a long-lasting, intense colour result.
Want the science stuff? Ok, so mixed into the colour cream is the OMEGAPLEX® Professional Anti-Breakage Technology - a powerful combination of Succinic Acid and Amino-Acids with Hybrid Polymers to reinforce and protect the hair while colouring. This unique technology protects the hair from damage and dramatically reduces hair breakage by up to 90%!
Schwarzkopf’s Colour Specialist with OMEGAPLEX® uses a 3-Step Professional Anti-Breakage Bonding Technology:
- The Anti-Breakage serum is mixed into the colouration process and protects the inner bonds during colouring.
- The revolutionary Repair Sealer, used after colouring, strengthens and repairs microbonds inside the hair fibres to seal and extend colour intensity.
- Finally, the Repair Reviver is applied after three weeks to reseal the micro-bonds and reinforce colour retention.
To put your hand up for this trial you'll need to take a quick survey so we can find out a little more about your hair and to find out the shade/s you're up for trying - we'll be picking the trial team from this information, so make sure you fill it out completely!
So at home colouring - is it the fear of damaging your hair that worries you? Or maybe you're a pro at-home gal, in which case, do you see signs of damage in your hair? Get chatting below!
I have used this hair colour and has become one of my favourite. I just feel that I need to buy one shade lighter than I want my hair colour because the one I used made my hair darker than expected. although it has decreased the hair break.
