Do you use a different moisturiser at night?

We're nosy parkers here at Beauty Review - we like to know about your beauty habits.  Why?  Curiosity mostly.  It's human nature to wonder if people do things differently right?  What if you've been missing a trick all these years?

Right now, I'm wondering about moisturisers - specifically, do you use a different moisturiser in the evening than your morning one?  (Assuming of course you moisturise twice a day!)

I don't.  I've tried many night creams but there's no noticable difference in my skin if I use one product in the morning and a different one in the evening.  Of course as my wrinkles continue wrinkling and my furrows become more furrowed, I don't doubt I will try 'evening' products again, but right now my skin seems to like the same products morning and night.  In fact other than cleanser choice (depending on the amount of face I've applied that day) my morning and evening routines are exactly the same and my skin feels good.

We're putting River Veda Honeysuckle Moisturiser to the test. Refreshing and exotic, this lightweight moisturiser is formulated to minimize pores and promote even skin tone. The purifying extracts of Amla Berry and Turmeric balance oil production, while organic cold pressed oils of Rosehip, EPO and Jojoba hydrate, quench and clarify.

This lightweight moisturizer is perfect for combination and oily skins and for those that experience an increase of oil production in the hot and humid summer months. Honeysuckle Moisturizer also offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and sebum balancing properties making it an ideal choice for acne or blemished skin conditions.  It sounds like it will make a fabulous moisturiser - day or night!

We think it sounds simply lovely, but of course - we're not the lucky ones who are going to get to put it to the test!  So why not chat to us about your moisturising habits.  How often do you moisturise your face?  Do you use a different moisturiser at night than in the morning?  Do you change it up from Summer to Winter?

Get chatting below - we might send you one to report back on!

I currently only use lóreal revitalift day cream in the morning, so a night one would be great to try.

I started wearing Estee Lauder at 18, and now that Im 24 I can really see how it has helped my skin by catering my care to be specifically preventative

Im pretty lazy but make sure I do moisturize morning and night. It's usually luck of the draw which one I pick up though!

Yes, I am using a night cream, which is wonderfully rich. I have quite dry skin, especially in winter, and it helps to keep the balance a little bit better. Also like to add a little bit of oil to the moisturisers to richen it up.

I try alot of products day & night only because my skin is a nightmare. Otherwise I use nothing until a trail a better brand. My skin sucks basically. Winter is a nightmare but in summer I live on spf50

Yes I do. The products vary depending on my budget at the time, in desperate seasons I go straight to witch hazel oil or apricot kernel. Antipodes do a lovely night cream which I like to treat myself to, they also have an oil that's beautiful for night. Basically I like to really hydrate at night! Yes I'm keen to trial this!

I think the sun is the biggest problem in nz for ageing and wrinkles, so I use an SPF day cream to help block the sun on my face and neck especially in summer and I use a night cream which is very moisturising and anti ageing.

I tend to use a different night one because my skin is really dry so I layer up the moisturiser at night, I think my daytime moisturiser is a bit light for me actually

I use the same product in the morning as at night time. Just a basic supermarket brand. Would love to try this and see if it makes a difference.

Definitely use a different moisturiser at night, currently L'Oreal cell repair as my skin is dry and soaks up this one well. In the morning I have been using Boots No.7 Lift & Luminate Day Cream SPF15 which I have found is good.

Because I have super oily skin I need a light weight hydro moisturiser and sometimes I use reshape oil. I like products that help even out my skin tone because my nose, forehead and chin are all darker than the rest of my face.
