What do you think of the natural look?

Last year's catwalk trend, the 'no-makeup' makeup look, has evolved slightly in to the natural makeup look - a hint more colour, but nothing to shout about.  Or is it?

When models began strutting down the runway last year looking like they were bare faced, we thought things couldn't be as they seemed.  Sure enough, behind the 'no makeup' look, was in fact a great deal of makeup.  It's kind of like leaving the house with carefully crafted bed-head; whilst it looks like you haven't ran a brush through your hair, it's in actual fact taken 20 minutes of precise teasing, pulling and spraying.

We're secretly quite glad the 'no-makeup' look is on it's way out, what's the point of having all of these gorgeous shades and products sitting around begging to be used?  So we're a little bit torn about the next big thing for Spring - the natural look.  Think neutral shades you'd find in nature.  Pink toned lips, sands, mochas and coffees for your eyes and bronzers or blushers that just enhance your natural skin tone.

On one hand, you can't deny, done correctly like the pictures above it's stunning.  And it's a look anybody can rock, regardless of skin colour, hair colour or personality.  But what about those hot pink lips for spring?  Or bright turquoises or smokey bronzes for your eyes?  Is the natural look really just playing it safe, instead of injecting a bit of pazazz and colour to your look?

As always, you're the experts, so why not tell us what you think of the natural look?  Do you like it, or will you be opting for a brighter look this spring?

I love the natural look, when you look effortlessly good. I find it actually harder to buy products for this look though.

I love the natural look, it's perfect for my line of work when I want to feel confident but don't want anything too dramatic. But I love the spring nail colours of peach and turquoise etc that are making an appearance and I'm really excited about these splashes of colour. Maybe I'll have a natural week look, and then a fun colourful weekend look? :)

I love a bare and bold natural look. Like a foundation, light or dark lippy and bold brows. That's been my go-to look for the last month. I enjoy the bare eye with the bold brows and a good lipstick!

I love the natural look. its how I wear my makeup to work everyday. I still have makeup on but it also looks like I don't have any on. I don't like really heavy and bold looking makeup, once in a while maybe but natural is the look for me.

I partially prefer the natural look as I am useless at applying makeup but I also hate that people hide behind their makeup and I think the more I can see the 'real' you the better but then again it all comes down to personal preference.

I have always preferred the natural look for day time anyway

I love the natural look, and personally prefer it than an overly made up look, especially for everyday make up

Natural is so beautiful. Its neat to show your inner enhanced features. Love it

I love the natural look it's perfect for everyday makeup. When I want a slightly bolder look I build on that and add a thin line of a teal or turquoise or lavender eyeliner and put a bit of shimmer in the inner corners of my eyes and a bit on the brow bone it really makes my eyes pop. I do have tiny Chinese eyes so I can put on a bit more color and it will still look pretty casual. Or I'll do a natural eye makeup base look and maybe add a bit of green or purple eyeshadow applied very lightly for a faint wash of color or do natural eyes and add a plum toned lippy. But when I'm in a hurry natural, neutral makeup is easy and pretty fool proof to apply.

During the day I love the natural "no make up" make up look! However at night time I love to brighten my lips and darken my eyes just to mix things up a little!

I love an natural look for a daily look but in the evening if im going out I love to go a little extreme and use bold bright colours

LOVE the natural look- huge fan! I definitely stick to it and think it's great because it enhances a womans beauty without "looking" like she's wearing a lot of makeup. In saying that there is nothing wrong with looking like you have make-up on if it's done nicely, I just prefer the natural look! You don't have to worry about reapplying lippy etc numerous times either. If I want to spruce the natural look up a bit more for a special occasion or going out I do a slightly heavier winged liquid eyeliner

Natural is my fave look ever!! During the day for a day trip say to town, I like a light foundation, light blush and mascara. Or just a little top liner.

LOVE IT!
