When I first started using this I was around 10-12 and it belonged to my mum's boss. She would put a squirt in my hands and I loved the smell. I've since bought several bottles of my own, and I still like it. It's a classic.
The smell is what keeps drawing me back, its like baby powder and musky or something. I quite enjoy it. It also makes my hands lovely and soft. The pink color attracts me the most, and the color of the lotion, which is a very light pink as well, and it makes me feel girly.
I found it to be quite runny, which isn't unusual for Vaseline products. You don't use a lot, as it won't absorb very well. I really liked it for nails but I don't think it really did anything in the long run other than making me moisturize my hands constantly. I would consider repurchasing this, but I'd prefer a hand and nail cream that was thicker.
Every now and then I get excited about a new hand cream on the market so I rush out and buy it - invariably I end up back using Vaseline again. Why? It's a trusted brand for me. It's lightweight, doesn't leave greasy residue, and smells great. The packaging pretty standard, nothing that sets it apart from anything else on the market, but it's a handy size in that it's big enough to last a while but compact enough to not take up too much room in your handbag. It's creamy without being too thick or too runny, and a pea sized dollop is enough to moisturise both hands sufficiently. It soaks in quickly and leaves my hands feeling smooth (and smelling pretty!).
Tips: Rub it right into your cuticles to get the maximum benefit for your nails.
