I may be in the light weight category but I am a heavy lifter at hydrating and nourishing skin. Powered with Hyaluronic Acid, Omega rich Avocado Oil, Plant Squalane Oil and powerful natural Peptides, I pack a punch - without feeling heavy or greasy.

Genuine goodness every morning

I bought this from the supermarket when I saw it on special and decided I would give it a try. The Goodness Every Morning Moisturiser comes in a pink and white cardboard box. It states that it is certified organic, vegan friendly, and not tested on animals. Its key ingredients are coconut, avocado, bilberry, and chia seed oil. It is made in New Zealand. Inside the box is a little folded up letter from Goodness thanking the buyer for purchasing the cream and explaining the benefits of chia seed oil. Apparently it contains Omegas 3 and 6, and it is “nourishing, hydrating and anti-inflammatory.” Inside the box the cream comes inside a pink plastic tube with a dark brown lid. The tube stands on its head and is 75mls. The moisturiser itself is white, and it has a reasonably strong, but very pleasant scent.

I have been applying this cream every morning for the past couple of months. My skin is sensitive and dry, so I need quite a rich cream that will not aggravate my skin. This moisturiser ticked both of those boxes for me. It is rich, gentle, and easily absorbed by my dry skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft and plump, and it has not aggravated it at all. You also do not need to apply very much. A couple of pea-sized amounts are enough for the face and neck. I definitely recommend this cream, especially for dry skin. This cream is quite rich, so it may be too much for those with oilier skin.

Favourite moisturiser

Honestly this is one or the few moisturisers that doesn't make my eczema worse on my face! I love that it is a kiwi brand and they are always looking to get feedback and provide great products. The moisturiser is super light weight, feels lovely on my skin, smells great feels great, and is affordable! It is my go to and I love it.

Great Basic Moisturiser

I must admit (sorry BR) I was a wee bit disappointed to see this in the BRBB. Now this is no fault of BR's or about the product itself.... just solely because I am still using up the Trilogy Moisturiser from the last BRBB! Farmers-Wife thinks I must have an extra small face. But really I usually like my day time moisturiser to have SPF in it, and I have already found my holy grail of that in the Joyce Blok SPF. So I wasn't about to let the name "morning" stop me from trying this out as my night time moisturiser. Especially because that packaging really drew me in.

So ... packaging. I love it. I really like the simple pastel pink tube with a silver lid. Looks very classic and cute, but also practical and it sits nicely on my dresser. I've seen some of the other Goodness packaging and it all looks just as cute. Very tempted to get the whole line just so it looks nice on my dresser.

Now the scent isn't my favourite. It seems very sweetly scented for something you put on your face, and at the same time somewhat herbally. Doesn't bother me too much once I get all the other things on my face so it isn't a deal breaker. The cream itself is reasonably thick so you have a good amount of control when squeezing it out of the tube. It spreads onto the skin quite easily and made my skin feel nicely moisturised. It seemed like it would be a good base for makeup as it sunk in quickly and left a nice smooth base. I haven't had any problems with my skin with this, but it hasn't done anything amazing either. I do feel as though it is a good moisturiser though so I will be happy to finish it (once I get through my Trilogy one as well).

Perfect!

I am now officially in love with this stuff! It makes my skin feel great each morning and smells so refreshing. I love that it has chia seeds in it too. This is now a part of my morning ritual!

Goodness Every Morning

I received this face cream in the September Beauty Box. I have never really bought any outrageous face creams and probably would over looked this in the shop. I Love the smell of it though..reminds me of the smell of products in a beauty salon that they put on after a facial.

I love the size of the bottle and also that it is in a squeeze-able bottle as apposed to the usuals I get that are in bottles(hard to get the last bit of cream out) You only need a small amount, about a squirt the size of a blueberry(maybe even less) and it smooths on your face very nice and easy. It is a nice thick-ish and creamy moisturizer and works well to moisturize before applying make up for the day, or to just go bare..

I find it helps me feel clean and refreshed and ready for the day! Would definitely be looking for this on the shelf when my current one is finished.

Tips: if putting on before make-up...make sure to put this on a while before starting make-up to give it time to really soak into your skin.

Stinky!

I was looking for an inexpensive moisturiser that would help hydrate my dry skin and not irritate it. Idomakeup on here suggested this, so I purchased it. I love that this is made in NZ, isn't super expensive, has a lot of product and is natural.

The packaging is pretty and comes with a silver screw top lid. The way to disperse this product is by squeezing the tube - which I like. However, I am not a fan of the fact that you have to unscrew the entire lid - I would have preferred a cap. In saying this though, the screw lid makes it ideal for travel.

The product itself is white and super scented. I really, really dislike the scent :( It is hard to put my finger on but it smells like a cocktail of artificial fruit (despite this being natural). I am not much of a fan of perfume on my face as it can irritate my skin (not the case here, thankfully). In saying this, the scent is really strong and I notice that it does stick around for a while. This is my one gripe with the product and - because of that, I won't be repurchasing this. If you love the scent of this then it is an amazing moisturiser but I can't deal with it (though I will use the entire tube up).

That being said, this applies easily and my skin drinks it in. It definitely moisturises it and doesn't leave any nasty film or sticky feeling behind. I think that those with sensitive skin should be wary of this purely based on the fragrance in it, but aside from that I think this is a great moisturiser for other skin types.

It feels creamy and decadent on your skin but not like a body butter. I like its thickness and the fact that it is absorbed quickly and easily by my skin. If it weren't for the scent I would definitely repurchase it but I can't deal with it haha.

Every Morning Moisturiser

I bought this from Countdown, along with the Every Evening Cream. Every Morning Moisturiser is packaged in a 75ml pastel pink plastic tube with a matte silver plastic screw top lid.

The white moisturiser inside the tube is quite thin, so I'd describe it as more of a lotion than a cream. It has a fairly strong scent that lingers for quite a while and to my nose, it smells like melons! I have naturally oily skin and felt that this lightweight moisturiser was perfect. It is absorbed quickly and doesn't leave any residue or greasy feel and make-up can be applied straight on top.

There is one thing that I don't like about this moisturiser and that's the fact that it doesn't contain an SPF (I've deducted one point for that). I do prefer my moisturisers to contain SPF, so that in winter I don't have to remember to apply a separate sunscreen (in summer I do put sunscreen on my face anyway, regardless of whether my moisturiser contains an SPF or not).

Even though Every Morning Moisturiser is a lightweight lotion, don't underestimate it! It moisturises and hydrates my oily skin without being too heavy; it didn't cause any breakouts or clogged pores and prevented the odd dry patch that I sometimes develop on my cheeks in winter.

Would I recommend it and repurchase it? Yes. I think it makes a great daily moisturiser for oily skin, especially in winter and would probably be a nice lightweight night cream substitute for my oily skin in summer (when I swap to a day cream with SPF).

Tips: Be careful when squeezing the tube, the lotion comes out quite fast when the tube is full.

Great review! I have oily skin too so nice to hear it works well as a lightweight moisturiser but I wish it had SPF in it!

Goodness Every Morning Moisturiser

Love this moisturiser! Always used Olay but for some reason it was out of stock & so i decided to purchase this. A little on the pricier side however I don't regret this purchase at all. Great coverage and not too oily and didn't linger on my skin, so concealer and/or foundation can be applied very soon after. This stuff smells like a lovely floral perfumerie - a welcoming addition and 'pro' of course.

Tips: Apply every morning - wait a minute or two before applying concealer and foundation (brush teeth or hair, or apply deodorant post application to kill time :)

Daily moisture

Also love this product from goodness. Works really well, and does what it says. I do like to use the chia seed oil first, to give that extra bit of moisture though, as it does seem to make a difference. Not too oily either.

Tips: Go for the option that has spf!

chia, thats good!

I am really liking this product, although I was initially hesitant to try it. I really didn't think that it would be hydrating enough for my skin type but it actually delivers all day hydration! I can use it successfully under makeup and have no issues with patchiness or oxidation. Its neither greasy nor sticky and absorbs really well. I feel confident using Goodness Every Morning Moisturizer. I'm happy with the price and will be repurchasing. I love the fresh, modern spin on the packaging.

Tips: Checking for kale is really a must :-)
