Evolu Relaxing Creme Cleanser Review

I was quite surprised how much I liked this creme cleanser, I had tried a different brand before and it made me breakout so I was a little bit nervous with trying this. The packaging is nice, it has a real natural look to it. I love the fact that it's NZ made and has no nasty chemicals in it. It says that it protects, repairs and renews and is ideal for sensitive and mature skin which is perfect for my skin. The smell of this creme cleanser is so good, i really like washing my face with it because of the smell. it has quite a strong scent but it's really nice to use at night and in the morning, makes me want to just wash my face all the time! The cleanser isn't thick, it's quite light and smooths onto my face and neck really well. It did an awesome job at getting my makeup off and even my eye makeup without irritating my eyes which was great. I have already used this cleanser every day since I received it and I found that it gave my skin a bit of moisture, it doesn't dry it out, and I haven't broken out with spots at all. I think the only reason I wouldn't buy it is because of the price, it's quite alot for a cleanser but knowing how well it works I would buy it every now and then.

I love skincare, in particular cleansers, as these are an important step especially in the evening to remove dirt, makeup and grime. I am generally a fan of foaming cleansers, but I really loved the feeling of this creme cleanser on my skin, it feels lovely and thick, nourishing, and does a nice job at removing my makeup. All with added benefits such as geranium, calendula, apricot & st johns wort - I quite like the smell of the botanical ingredients, but this could be quite overwhelming for others who are particularly sensitive. I would agree its probably better suited for 'mature' skins. I am 34 with oily t-zone and feel its a bit too rich for my skin.

I wouldn't say that it deep cleansed my skin, but it still provided a good cleanse and effectively removed my makeup.

My skin has some dry patches along with redness and being sensitive. This cleanser has been great. Easy to use, is not too thick, is creamy and kind of silky. Has a fairly pleasant scent without being too strong for me. I dampened my skin a little first and then massaged in as per instructions. Rinsed off with warm water and a face cloth to make sure I got it all. It removed all traces of makeup and left my skin feeling soft, clean and refreshed. I have noticed that the redness has minimized a little and my dry patches are not as bad. Being that my skin is sensitive I was a little worried it might make my skin worse but have had no problems. A little bit out of my price range, but if it was on special/promotion would seriously look at purchasing.

This cleanser, with it's emphasis on natural and great ingredients has been on my 'must try' list for a while now.

I was very excited to be chosen to trial this, as I am always looking for a cleanser that works to both hydrate and cleanse my skin, whilst being non- irritating for sensitive skin.

The packaging is lovely- green and white, which looks elegant and classy. It really suits it's natural focussed ingredients.

The smell is rather subtle, smells slightly like flowers and other natural ingredients. It's quite refreshing really.

The cleanser is white, non foaming (which is a preference for me). A twenty cent piece onto my hand and then massaging into my face removed the makeup and cleanses my face well.

My face isn't left tight and stingy like some cleansers- it's really gentle, yet does the job! My skin can be sensitive and reactive, yet this is just really nice. It even compares well to my expensive dermalogica cleanser!

I've tried the moisturizer from this brand before and really liked it. This cleanser in my opinion is even better. It's very gentle yet effective.

It removed my makeup well (long wearing foundation, mascara and blush). Yet left my skin b feeling hydrated and soft. Such a lovely cleanser.

Thanks again for the opportunity to trial this product- I can't wait to try more products from this brand.

The cleanser comes in an avocado green and white tube, which makes getting the perfect amount of cleanser out easy. I enjoy the aesthetic of the design, very pleasing to the eye and it looks good on the bathroom counter.

The product smells amazing. A gorgeous herbaceous scent, which made the cleansing experience a treat.

As per directions I applied to my face (while dry as it didn't say to wet it beforehand) and massaged it in, then took a warm flannel and removed the the cleanser. It left my skin feeling super smooth and really clean. It also did a really good ob of removing my makeup, however I marked it down a little as I found myself waking up in the morning with traces of mascara under my eyes - which didn't happen with my previous cleanser.

That being said, my skin is loving this product. It's looking clear and smooth and it hasn't reacted in any way. If you are looking for a natural cruelty free brand that offers a touch of luxury I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this.

Absolutely loved this cleanser, I have been using a different brand that reacted badly with my skin and made it dry, red, stinging and angry.

Evolu Crème Cleanser helped to get my skin back to normal, soothed it and helped get rid of the dryness.

Felt so light and cleansed my skin without over drying it. Also noticed a decrease in acne on my face. Left my face feeling fresh.

I was given this as a gift and being a fan of cream cleansers, I was keen to give it a go. I'm very sensitive to fragrance but found the fragrance pleasant and not overwhelming. I like to cleanse my face in the shower and found it removed my mineral makeup well. But it didn't do the same for my liquid foundation, leaving a small amount of residue around my nose and forehead.This seems to be quite a common feature amongst the cream cleansers I've tried.

Ive tryed so many facial cleansers trying to find one that suits me, as my skin is very dry and senitive and i get exma, this product didnt interfair with any of my dryness or exma! I love it! When u start washing ur face it glides on smoothy. But it does have a little burn tinglyness to it. Iver never broken out on this and i will deffintly buy this again!

I have never used Evolu before but the ingredients in this Relaxing Crème Cleanser sounded healthy, natural and soothing...Calendula, Geranium, Apricot and St John's Wort. A garden of natural healing in a tube. I have used the cleanser once a day of eight days and am very impressed with the outcome. It was a bit weird not using a foaming cleanser as I usually do and I must admit I was sceptical that this product would do such a good job - but I think it cleans beautifully and the way it leaves my skin is wonderful. I wet my face then rub in a small amount of cleanser all over my face and neck - especially my nose which is a problem area for oil buildup and black heads. A great clean when rinsed off with water. And a gentle pleasant scent too. I can truly say my skin has tested the claims of being suitable for all skin types. I have an oily T zone and dry patches on cheeks. Evolu Relaxing Crème Cleanser left my whole face moisturised and while I expected a break out in the oily areas, there has been none. It both relaxed and nourished my skin. The only reason I would not continue with the product is the price. $40 is too much for me - a luxury item rather than an use everyday item in my budget. But Evolu is definitely on my radar now for truful claims and natural products.

I was very luck to be chosen to review this cleanser :) I am 45 and my skin needs extra help and kindness, I think this cleanser has definitely helped.

I really like the colours of the tube/packaging - it's quite understated but appears natural and earthy. The tube is a decent size at 125ml, which one would hope as the RRP is $39.99, a bit more than I would spend on a cleanser, however if it's a decent one then money well spent.

I normally use cleansing wipes but do find they don't really remove all the makeup and dirt. I admit that I am a bit lazy, hence the reason I use wipes :)

I like the smell, nothing really strong or overpowering and is very natural and botanical.

The tube has a flip top which I much prefer to a screw cap, easier to use. The cleanser is a lovely creamy consistency and is non-foaming, so I just wet my fingers slightly and applied in a gentle rubbing circular motion all over my face and neck. I removed with a fairly warm face cloth, which I think makes a difference for my skin anyway.

It didn't make my skin feel tight or dry once I had removed and before I applied moisturiser which is a big plus for me. My sister makes her own organic moisturiser and I use this after I have cleansed and I think with the combination of the cleanser and moisturiser it has made a difference to my skin :)

I love that it is anti-aging with the Calendula, something I really need now and the mixture of Apricot Extract, Geranium and St John's Wort I believe is a great mix for my skin.

I have been using it for around 4 nights and I think my skin will improve even more with constant use. I am actually very interested in trying more of their products now as I really like this cleanser.

I would definitely use this cleanser again and would look into more of their products.
