Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 Review

I love this product!! It leaves my skin refreshed and smooth. I bought I part of a three step system, of the three products I bought the Moisturer and this again but not the cleanser. I love how clean and smooth my skin feels after using this. I don’t use it everyday, just when my skin feels “textured”. It definitely improves the texture instantly leaving a smooth surface for moisturiser than makeup. The only cons- It smells quite strong which can be off putting and I could imagine it wouldn’t be too suitable for dry skin.

I bought the big bottle and it lasted 8 months. I used it twice a day. Really cleans pores thoroughly. Does have a bit of a alchohol smell, but it doesn’t dry my skin out.

As part of the Clinique 3 steps, I used it Lotion. I love it, it leaves my skin clean and fresh. I use it before the moisturiser, it does make my skin fresher and brighter. The smell might be a little bit strong, but you get used to it. Love Clinique products.

I have oily skin and find that Clinique's Clarifying Lotion 2 helps deep clean my skin and remove all dirt and make up leaving it smelling fresh and helping close my pores. It does help prevent break outs and as it doesn't have an overpowering smell my hubby also uses it when he gets the odd spot! For me, this is a luxury purchase as I think it is quite expensive so don't use it with other Clinique products.

This is a very intense toner. The first time I used it with a cotton pad I was amazed how much dirt came off my face even after I had cleansed my skin. I would use this again however.. I found it very harsh on my skin, after a few days of use my skin didn't seem to need such an intense toner and it did leave my skin incredibly tight..

I love Clinique skincare and makeup. I have been using this for years, as well as the dramatically different moisturising lotion. The three step skincare is such a classic.

My skin tends to be dry in some places, yet normal in others- so clarifying lotion 2 is perfect for me.

After cleansing my face I then use this lotion on a cotton pad and gently swipe this over my face. It removes the excess makeup that my cleanser doesn't quite get.

The lotion has the consistency of water, I find that a little goes a long way. The smell can be a little strong, but its something I've definitely got used to!

I find using this does sweep away the old, dead skin. My moisturiser then skins in well and helps my makeup look better as well, by evening out my skin tone.

I will continue to repurchase this, it's such a great product.

I like that this toner feels like it's actually doing something. My skin felt tighter, cleaner and more fresh after using it. However sometimes I feel like it can be a little too strong and astringent and the first couple of times I used it it stung my skin a little bit. However I think it does a good job of cleaning and clearing out my skin.

When I was younger and my skin was a lot oilier I used to use the number 3 and even 4 toner which did what I needed at the time. Now that I am older and my skin is a lot drier, albeit with the occasional hormone-induced pimple, I am loving this Clinique Toner. I find that it gets rid of dried bits of skin without drying out the skin. My skin looks and feels much fresher after I use it and my pores appear smaller.

I've been using this Clarifying lotion for a while now and am really liking it. At $29.90 a bottle I was hoping it was going to be good, but when you incorporate the size of the product in comparison to others on the market it's not that much more and a little does go a long way. I use this on a cotton pad after I wash my face to get any last little bits off and really like how it leaves my skin. This does have quite a strong smell to it that I really disliked at first but after a while you don't notice it so much, plus the end result is worth it. I expect that I will be buying this again in the future
