BUTTERCUP - BUTTERLOVE

I was gifted this by a fellow BR girl. when i first recieved this, the thing that stood out the most, was the Gold Bullet! my magpie eyes zoomed straight towards it. then i open it and see a nude shade, which, i will be honest, i have way to many nudes and even though i knew what it looked like, i though 'oh no K, not another one', BUT OMG! this beats ALL my other nudes, including my hug me MAC one. it applies like a DREAM! and it lasts a good 2 hours before fading, evey now and then i will top with a gloss, but not all the time. I am seriously in love with this shade, and i am looking forward to one day owning more of Gerad lipsticks. 10/10 for my perfect Nude shade that isnt 'my lips but better' .

Amazing lippies, but avoid on dry lips.

I love the colours available in this lipstick range, absolutely beautiful, the price seems high at first - but there are constantly sales or discount codes so you never need to pay full price. The packaging feels a little cheap, and I've had a lid of one crack, but that's not really a deal breaker. The lipsticks are so pigmented - I love the colour pay off you get. They're on the more matte side - but not fully matte I don't think. They feel comfortable and last a decent amount of time. The only thing is I would avoid putting them on dry lips as they can emphasise the dry patches sometimes.

Not for dry lips!

I've got about five of these lipsticks and I really do appreciate them all. I have quite chappy lips so before I apply the lipstick I have to scrub my lips and put a balm on like ten minutes before hand. Even then sometimes I need to apply a gloss just so my lips don't feel dry. The colours are really awesome though which is why I keep using them!

Better than MAC

I recently purchased my first Gerard Cosmetics lipstick and I am shocked.

This lipstick is creamier, more opaque and wauy nicer shade than any of my mac lipsticks!! Its insane! I got an odd colour because I recently went blonde and wanted to try something different so I order the colour 'Underground' which is a mauvey grey ash nude colour and i freaking love it!!! It looks like pale purple mixed with silver grey! It is insane and makes my teeth look so white, it especially suits blondes and make you look tanner without looking washed out! It stays on even through eating and drinking and give the most gorgeous satin finish! Defiantly buying a tonne more!

Not for me...

I'm used to my MAC lipsticks and have been pretty loyal but after hearing my beautician rave about these and using a discount code I ordered 3 lipsticks.

They were super cheap and arrived after a few weeks (keep that in mind too).

For me, the texture was the strangest. It highlighted every imperfection on my lips and made me feel so self conscious. They also didn't last long at all, I had to reapply every hour or so.

In the end I gave them all away and probably wouldn't buy the lipsticks again. Might try the lip gloss though

Tips: They always post discount codes on Facebook...and apparently they mess up orders pretty often, but you just keep what they sent you and they'll send you more...

I love!!

I have been collecting all the lipsticks and have a fairly good collection for their glosses too I love the fact that they have a great staying power (best staying power I have had in a lipstick) They are super pigmented though and long lasting with out bleeding colour all over your face, and don't forget their cute packaging, like a gold bullet

although they are not with out fault I have some that have faulty packaging, (applying lipstick and slowly the product is pushed back down so you have to wind it up again to finish application) also their formulates fairy with different colours or release dates, their newer colours are a lot creamer then their originals so if you have dry skin you may well have a little problem.

Tips: If you have dry skin I would recommend to use a lip scrub and apply a moisturising lip product before applying these, only applies to their older colours though (first 6 or so releases)
