I'll start off by saying that I was given these as a gift, so I didn't pay $30 for them although I do agree that is quite dear.
In saying that, I love these tweezers and they will probably be the only pair you'll ever need if you do choose to purchase them. The light is really helpful for seeing those hairs that you would usually miss and also removing nasty hard to find ingrowns.
