When being buying a liquid foundation I was also recommended to buy the studio fix powder to match (NC15). It offerings great coverage and makes my skin look flawless. The only issue I has is that it drys my skin and leaves it feeling a bit tight when using it on it's own. I will now only use it over my liquid foundation for a full coverage.

I bought this product from the mac cosmetics website and it was my first time buying from there so I wasn't too sure on the correct colour. When I received it the colour match was ok just abit darker but it was fine to be used in summer. When I tried the product It did feel a tad heavy but the coverage wasn't full enough to cover my blemishes but it did give it a nice coverage. Love that you can take it anywhere on the go with its mirror compact. It did last along time and I did not get shiny patches on my skin. Would be buying this again.
Best powder foundation I have tried! I use this whenever I want to wear foundation but am in a rush or don't have time to put on liquid foundation. It's quick and easy. I just buff it in with a face powder brush or kabuki brush. They say it's full coverage but it's definitely medium coverage for me. It's buildable so you can keep layering till you get the coverage you want but I find when I do this, it makes my skin look cakey. Overall I think its a really good powder foundation and I would recommend others to try it out.
Tips: Make sure your skin is thoroughly moisterised before using this, specially if you have dry skin as it clings to dry patches.
I got this powder 8 months ago and 8 months later I still have it. I apply it on top on my foundation (which is also Studio Fix) using a kabuki brush, so don't use much as all.
You might think that $64 is a bit pricey but when you think about how long it lasts, the price isn't too bad at all.
My only concern is that it does show up your pores and fine lines if not applying it properly, so make sure you blend :o)
I use this powder daily in conjunction with my BB cream (Maybelline Dream Pure) or on its own. I don't like to wear heavy make up as foundation has a tendency to cause me breakouts but I still like to have a light coverage to even up my skin tone and hide minor blemishes. I absolutely love this product and always stock-up at Duty Free where possible!
I apply mine with a powder brush and I find this gives me the light coverage I need and also uses the product sparingly. A compact typically lasts me approximately 6 months. If I need heavier coverage I use the sponge to concentrate the product in that area. I love the ease of applying this powder with a brush, it is fool proof and similar to mineral foundations you can build up the coverage to an extent. I also like that the finish does not give you a heavily, powdered/ caked look.
Tips: Apply with a powder brush as I find it gives a lighter finish versus using the sponge which applies it more heavily. Using a brush also allows it to last a long time!
loved this product, was always a great pick me up during the day! because of my oily skin it didn't stay on to long but was great for thawing away the shine! the colour matched perfectly. it looks stunning in photos but it can get to powder your you face
Tips: use lightly
This is a higher end powder foundation a bit on the more expensive side but in my opinion i think it is worth the money!
It gives a full coverage flawless finish, completely matte. I would recommend this benefits oily skin as its very matte. I used this powder over my foundation and concealer for a full coverage look and it is VERY long lasting. However usually on a more day to day basis i can just use concealer and studio fix powder for a more toned down flawless look. It leaves my skin looking kind of airbrushed! Although sometimes when my skin is more dry i have to use quite a bit of moisturiser beforehand to hydrate my skin so the powder doesn't cling to any dry patches. (people with dryer skin beware of this)
Overall great powder, does everything it says it should and i would definitely repurchase
I'm not a fan of powder foundations so I tend to use this just to add some extra coverage and set my foundation. The powder applies well over the skin and isn't too heavy! The compact is so handy to touch up/blot the skin throughout the day! Well worth the money you pay.
Tips: I like to apply it with a big fluffy powder brush so you get an even sheer application!
I was really impressed with this pressed powder. I have quite oily skin and find most powders get messy but what ever the formula this one doesn't.
Light on your skin but great with coverage it's good and a setting powder or on its own. Lasts to which is good for the wallet.
Tips: Go into the store and don't be fooled into buying any colour. I've bought it twice now and the first time they gave me 10 shades darker than what I am. Get them to apply it then go for a walk. See what it looks like out of the store and go back and say what you think about it.
This powder does everything it says and more, a full coverage powder to set your foundation or a velvet smooth powder. This powder should be used with a light hand as if I have to reapply during the day it can look a little cakey but I have been using this powder for years and it will always be apart of my collection.
Tips: If you don't like a heavy foundation or powder look the mineralise powder is just as amazing but lighter on the skin
