Amazing bb cream

Lightweight easy to apply cream. I found this one I can wear quite happily without any foundation on top. Leaves a tinted colour which has a little sparkle shimmery effect.

Tips: Needs to be shaken really well first as tends to separate if its not shaken

I love this BB Cream

this was the first bb cream purchase i made ...i love it ... i dont use it as a full foundation but i do use it if im just popping out to the supermarket or somewhere and dont want a full face but dont want to be naked either. its really nice on my skin, not irritating all, not orangey like some of the other bb creams i have tried. feels really nice on. Just kind of blurs your flaws add a touch of concealer to any problems areas and your good to go. would definately reccomend for those wanting to try a bb cream.

Tips: Probably best suited to more dry skin types.

Medium

I was given this by Revlon with a collection of other products. I use BB creams mixed in with either a foundation or my fave Max Factor CC daily so was excited to give this one a go, especially as I usually wouldn't pick medium for myself.

Despite it being medium and myself being very pale its only a lil bit too dark for me. This mixed in with the light MF CC cream is a good combination. It gives a good hint of color, its not too thick and it blends and applies onto the skin really nicely.

I think its a great example of a BB cream and a normal BB cream price. The quality is a lot better compared to other BB creams I have tried and loathed so would recommend this one for sure!

Interesting

I was lucky enough to receive this as a RAOK, so whilst I did not pay the $30 myself, I have still tested it thoroughly and giving my opinion on wether I would purchase it again with my own money.

Packaging: The packaging comes in a silver tube with a twist cap. I do find that the silver packaging can look really gross with the product smeared all over it as you have to twist the cap back on pretty fast so it doesn't leak out! But, it is easy enough to clean with a wet wipe I have found.

The product is very easy to squeeze out of the tube and is a nice size regarding the amount of product you actually get. No hidden "let's make this appear like it has heaps of product" nonsense.

The product:

The product, for me, has often come out a bit watery which is a bit of a disappointment as sometimes I forget I need to thoroughly shake it before I open and use it.

I did find that the light shade worked well with my skin, it matched and blended nicely and created a smoother canvas for my foundation. In saying that, I would not wear this alone however as it made me feel and look a bit unusual.

I find that applying this with my fingers does the trick, it blends out easy and sort of melts into the skin. I was not bothered by the scent of this bb cream either ( that can be a big turnoff for me)

Longevity:

While I find that this bb cream really helps my foundation glide on, I definitely need to set it with some serious powder as I find that it gets quite oily throughout the day, especially as I have oily skin. It was easily fixed but a bit of a let down!

Comparison:

I've tried about three BB creams since they exploded last year, two Korean and this revlon BB cream. I would place the Revlon probably second between the three. I do this because it absolutely hands down is 100% better than the worser one ( I had to give it away as the smell just killed me, it had caviar in it) but I did find that it prefer the Lioele Triple the Solution Bb cream just a little bit more.

Overall: I hesitate to say that I would purchase this because I do prefer the Lioele version better. As it's more authentic and true to a Bb cream. In saying that, this is definitely more readily accessible and does the job.

Tips: Put setting powder over top Use fingers to apply

Great SPF

This was the first BB Cream I ever used, and I loved it ... until I tried a different brand. This one's defining feature is the high spf, that's always a win in my book.

It tended to separate and was quite greasy though, and didn't last as long as I might have liked.

I got this BB Cream with other Revlon Photoready products, and it did work well when paired with those. Like I said, it was my first time using BB Cream, and it more-or-less did it's job.

formula is oily

Revlon photo ready bb cream

This was the first bb cream I had tried, and it wasn't too bad. It did everything a bb cream should do. It was hydrating like a light moisturiser and it gave good light coverage which hid a bit of my redness but not enough to cover my acne scars. Therefore I wouldn't quite so that it blurs flaws like a concealer would because you could still see my acne scars. I noticed that during the day this would slip off my face, so I find it helps to set it with powder if you want better coverage. I also like how this bb cream has SPF 30 which is higher than most foundations I have used, making it perfect to wear in the summer.

This bb cream has an oily texture, which is good if you have dry skin. Because the formula is oily you need to shake it before using the mix the cream up. I also found the consistency to be quite thick. I usually use my fingers to apply the cream, as it's quite easy to apply. I will use a stipple brush if I want a more air brushed application. I have this in the lightest shade and find this to be the right shade for my light, slightly olive skin.

Overall, this gave me the coverage I was expecting from a bb cream. However, I prefer the garnier bb cream as I like the texture better and it blends onto my skin well.

Tips: if you have oily skin and want this to last longer I recommend setting this with powder

Revlon Photoready BB cream 30ml

I have this in 020 (light/medium). I'm a BB lover, and this one does deliver. It feels perhaps a bit oilier on the skin than most, I'm a fairly dry skin type so I find this quite comfortable to wear. It has a high SPF 30, and you can feel and smell this in the product. Overall, it delivers a nice light-medium coverage, and slight dewy glow and the color stay pretty true on the skin. I like it, and perhaps would re-purchase in summer due to the SPF, however there are others I would go for over this one, that perhaps feel a bit less 'sunscreen'. Definitely worth a try if protected skin is your thing.

Tips: Applies nicely with a brush. Don't wear anything with too much SPF in it as you will feel that you have too many layers on.

Not really a fan

My mum got this for me from her work, and I didn't like it much. I need to put a lot of it on my face for it to even do anything. Lasts like 6 hours, which is pretty decent. I think the consistency of it didnt appeal to me much

Not for me

I tried this last summer, hoping to find a new holy grail face product. I really liked the formulation of this bb cream, it was thick and had a sunblock kind of scent which I liked, but the coverage just wasn't what I wanted, it was very sheer and I could definitely tell it was sitting on my skin unlike a lot of other bb creams. I did like that the lightest shade was light enough for my pale skin. I found that the only way I liked it was when I set it with a powder foundation which stopped it from getting oily and added coverage.

Tips: You can apply with fingers like a moisturiser and it goes on evenly. Setting with a powder that has coverage helps

I was given this by a friend who got 2 of them in a clearance sale,I got it in medium and found it was very oily,I shook the tube first but the product came out with a coating of oil over it,I shook it again and when I applied the bb cream it sort of took abit to stay on my skin, the medium shade when built up was too dark,I am glad I never paid for it,it was a disapointment, the good thing about it was the tube it was in
