I found the formula way to thick witch made it hard to apply and chip off way to easily. I'll definitely have to give it a go but after a couple tries I'm not the biggest fan.

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
I have a love/hate relationship with OPI's nail lacquers. Some of the colours are lovely and opaque, getting the perfect coverage in just two coats, while others are more sheer and don't give a good coverage or beautiful colour.
For example, I bought "March in Uniform", a deep navy that looked gorgeous in the bottle, and "Gift Of Gold That Never Gets Old", a champagne gold. March in Uniform ended up being quite sheer and didn't look navy blue once applied, it was more of a sheer mid-blue, even with three coats. Gift of Gold was gorgeous, it applied well with just two coats and was perfectly opaque.
It's really hard to tell with OPI's colours if they're going to be sheer or opaque, and they should have some kind of indicator on the bottles to indicate this to purchasers. Maybe a sticker or marker somewhere on the bottle to indicate the formula of sheer, creme, shimmer, glitter, etc.
If there is an indicator, I haven't figured out where to find it.
Tips: Try and research the colours you're interested in before purchasing.
First of all, the colors are amazing, so props to OPI for that.
Where this falls down is its staying power, it just doesn't last, about a day or two later and it's chipping already, I've tried using their long lasting top coat, nothing helps.
Using this on my toenails is fine, it doesn't chip there.
Some of the colors can be hit or miss too, some aren't as opaque as they look in the bottle and some aren't as sheer as you might want. Overall I don't think it's worth it.
The colour on screen and on the bottle looks so gorgeous.. A rich plum colour. I loved the look of the colour so was super stoked to have been selected to review. I was however disappointed when the first coat looked more like brown than rich plum. A second coat didn't help either and many friends thought it was actually black. In the sunlight however, the rich plum look came through and it looked super pretty but that was about it. Apart from colour, the two coats lasted about 3 days without a top coat. Love OPI , but sorry muir muir, I wasn't at all fascinated.
Tips: Apply a top coat for longer lasting nails ;)
I went and brought some of the OPI nail lacquer's after hearing all about them. I had high hopes but once I tried the them i wasn't so impressed. I had to do 3 layers to get the look that was acceptable.
Tips: 3 layers!!
When I brought this I did have high expectations. It was less than four days before it started chipping. For the price I thought it would last longer.. So a little disappointed...
Tips: I would recommend that users to put a decent amount of polish on and make sure your clear top coat is on properly as well...
I love using this glitter polish. I especially love putting it over the top of a black or deep blue polish for something a bit different. The only thing that I found was it was really really hard to remove and did ruin my nails at bit as I had to try so hard to get it off. Otherwise apart from that love the glitter polish.
I used to absolutely love OPI and rave only about this brand of nail polish but now after trying other brands im not so sure. I think I was more in love with the colour selection and the different collections that were coming out all the time.
I don't like the way these chip off pretty much the next day when applied to the natural nail. That's just annoying and having to redo my nails all the time is not ideal. In saying that though, when these polishes are applied to acrylic nails they seem to last a really long time.
In conclusion, I am not a fan of these when applied to the natural nail and wouldn't recommend them at all but if applied to acrylic nails, go for it, you can't go wrong :)
Tips: Make sure you use a base and top coat when applying to the natural nail but when applying to an acrylic nail just use a top coat for extra shine :)
Professional colour? Tick. Amazing number of shades to choose from. But long lasting? Not so much. Even with a solid base and top coat I struggle to stop my OPI polishes chipping after a couple of days. The colours are hard to pass up but the quality just isn't there for me. Given their price you'd want them to last a little longer. Their polishes can also be really hit or miss. Some can be clumpy or streaky or unexpectedly sheer. I think I'll try stick with the minis so that way I can use them up faster and move on.
Tips: Invest in a good base and top coat, they make a world of difference!
Has the nicest range of colours!! And apply with a nice thick coat, as well as lasting longing before chipping, if you can't afford the gel nail polishes :)
