MAC Studio Fix Foundation Fluid SPF 15 Review

This is definitely one of the best foundations I have owned! I am able to wear it on a day to day basis, with just one layer giving my skin a nice medium coverage, but what I also love is that it is so build-able and I am able to make it to a high coverage if I am going out! I would definitely recommend MAC studio fix for people who like a more 'natural' matte finish! Although abit on the more expensive side here in NZ, one bottle has lasted my nearly a year with still about half left! love love love xox

I suffer from really dry skin on my face and body and in the past my dry skin was really visible when I put on foundation. It was a real confidence knocker. Also, I tried so many foundation colours but they never seemed to match my skin tone. I had almost given up until I tried the MAC Studio Fix Foundation Fluid SPF 15. It was the perfect match for my skin tone. Even friends commented on how perfect my skin looked.

Everything about this foundation oozes innovation and modern sophistication from the simple minimalist design of the glass bottle to the pump with the lock feature that prevents your foundation from spilling all over the lining of your handbag.

While the cost is a little on the pricey side, a little really goes a long way. I brought my bottle in October last year and the bottle is almost at the end of it's life 10 months later. Or if you know someone that is going to the States, ask them to grab you a bottle as Mac products are usually 30-40% cheaper than in NZ.

The product itself feels light on my skin like i'm wearing nothing at all, yet leaves my skin looking airbrushed afterwards. I recommend teaming it with a bronzing powder (I use Mac Bronzing Powder) for a sunkissed look.

Pros: Perfect skin match, light on the skin, a little goes a long way, pump lock to prevent foundation spilling into your handbag.

Cons: Pricey.

Overall: I need MAC Studio Fix Foundation Fluid SPF 15 in my life.

i use this everyday. it has buildable coverage which is great. it has a nice finish so it doesnt have cakey look. it oxidises but for me the oxidation so well and just settles so well that i look like i dont even wear makeup, it is so flawless. But the thing about studio fix is that it doesnt last all day. i would say thats the only bad thing

I'm not an everyday makeup wearer, a bit of BB cream during the day (if I have time) but MAC studio fix is my go to if I have evening socialising to do, I find It to thick of every day daytime wear but a beautiful flawless finish and coverage for evening wear, I like that it oxidises and makes my skin look like it's naturally flawless

I love my MAC foundation, it leaves my skin flawless and lasts forever without the need to do any touchups! It leaves my skin feeling fresh and like I am wearing nothing at all yet it covers all of my imperfections and freckles :) my favourite of all time!

I love this when my skin isn't cooperating!! I always know that I can reach for this foundation and it will work :) I just can't justify buying it in NZ cos it is so expensive here!

Mac Studio Fix Foundation Fluid provides matte finish that is a buildable medium coverage. I find this foundation is easy to blend and is long wearing. As I suffer from oily skin, a long wearing foundation that doesn't slide off my face is a must have for me. The only thing that it does have a faint paint smell. It doesn't bother me but some people might not like it. I have repurchased this product time and time again. It also has a SPF 15 protection which is great all year around. I would recommend the purchase of this product as it is a holy grail product of mine. The $60 investment is truly worthwhile.

Love love love this product!! Cannot recommend it enough! I wear the NC25 shade and just adore it. It has really good coverage and can be built up so easily. I'v never had something match my skin colour so perfectly and go on so well. Certainly looking for a cheaper alternative though but still worth the money.

I really like this product, I was unfortunately matched incorrectly so the shade I was given is too orange for my skin tone but I still wear it when going to town/nights out. It's perfect for long wear and I find it lasts all night with minimal touch ups and sometimes no touch ups are required. I think if you have a really good foundation brush it goes on so smoothly and evenly and is an over all nice product to use.

I love this product, It's not too runny and not to thick. I find it provides perfect coverage for my pigmentation and stays on all day. It comes off really easy to.
