I bought this product in NYC a few years ago (I was excited to get NYX as it wasn't available in NZ then). It feels lovely and light. It is great for a low-key day out.

I have this in apple strudel which is a sheer light pink. It's definitely all they say it is, not at all sticky, very creamy and silky. Smells yummy and is one of the better glosses I've ever tried. I brought mine from beautyjoint for about $5
I purchased this recently after one of my workmates was raving about them. I purchased the Vanilla Cream Pie colour, as it seemed like a good place to start judging by the online swatches (I got mine from makeup.co.nz in their 15% Off sale).
When it arrived, I was super keen to try it so wore it immediately (but had to wipe it off when I got to work because sadly we do not sell the brand, so I am unable to wear products we do not sell), and I was not disappointed. The smell is to die for, and the texture is, as the name suggest, lovely and buttery.
My colour is a lovely soft pink, so definitely a good choice for a first Butter Gloss, and the colour payoff is sheer-medium, which is nice as it can be worn alone or over a brighter lipstick.
I am very keen to eventually purchase all of the shades and add these to my kit. I do believe every girl should own at least one!
I like these butter glosses very much. Creamy, non sticky, glossy, sweet smelling, good colour range. Only complaint, they don't last particularly well on the lips - but then again, what gloss does? I got the colour Cherry Cheesecake which is a lovely orange/peach colour - very wearable.
Tips: Shop around - they are cheaper overseas (I buy from Cherry Culture). Be warned - the name cherry cheesecake and the smell it may make you want to eat! :)
I bought about 7 of these, after reading rave reviews about them. I love the smell, and the colours are very pretty too, I use them on a daily basis on top of my lipstick to add a bit of shine. They aren't too sticky, and the range of colours is amazing, I find them a bit sheer without a pencil or a lipstick underneath, but all in all I love these glosses. They are such a reasonable price, its always amazing to me to find such good quality cosmetics for such a reasonable cost, it means you can buy them all!
I don't usually like glosses, I always feel like they get in my hair if it's windy, they can smear easily and are just a pain in the butt. But the NYX butter glosses are pretty nice, the colour payoff is awesome, and they aren't tacky or sticky. They are moisturising and there are so many colours to choose from.
These smell soo good! They have a scent of in my opinion vanilla cake batter. The gloss itself is nice, great pigmentation and they feel really nice on the lips. The only downfall is staying power but in saying that for a gloss you wouldn't expect it to last for hours.. They are very easy to re-apply with the Doe foot applicator. They layer really nice over lipstick too I often wear them over a nude lip just for a little bit of muted colour. I think they definitely are a must have if you don't want to always commit to a lipstick colour for the whole day and want something quick that looks like great.
I bought Madeleine (nude beige) and Red Velvet (bright rich red) from Farmers (Queen St) last month and I've been using them more than I had expected I would!
The packaging is visually appealing with bright colours to match the shades of the product. They're quite a lovely addition to my makeup collection breaking up the sea of black and gold lipsticks. They smell like caramel toffee and is probably one of my favourites scents on a lip product - I didn't realise I had one but this one is it!
They're the same height as the Dose of Colours liquid lipstick so perfect for traveling. They come with a doe foot applicator which allows for precise placement of product. I really love the formula; it goes on silky smooth and is not tacky or sticky - if anything it makes me want to press my lips all the time, it just feels lovely!
As with any gloss the longevity isn't the best however my lips do stay hydrated well after the gloss has gone. When I wear the gloss on its own, there is a faint stain left behind but more so with Red Velvet than Madeline.
My favourite way to wear the glosses are over the top of a lipstick - it just makes my lips appear more plump. When I'm not stuffing my face or drinking the gloss lasts a good 2 hours.
I would recommend to those looking for a hydrating gloss and a bit of colour however I do advise to check out the colours that would suit you (i.e. not all the nude colours are suitable on my chocolate skin).
I love my two Butter glosses, my favorite is definitely Creme Brulee which is a lovely neutral pinky shade. So easy to apply and smell so yummy. Love that they are packaged in the same shade as the product making them so much easier to find in my handbag. They don't last all day, probably only a few hours really if you're not eating or drinking, but easily touched up.
Tips: Definitely use over lip liner or lipstick to achieve a deeper colour
These smell soooo good! I like these glosses, comfortable to wear as far as glosses go but I do find them a little goopy in consistency and will glue your hair to you lips when doing the hair flick ;) but they are really lovely to add a touch of gloss on top of your lipstick , or wear alone on more natural days. i don't find them super pigmented and are really just a soft tint. The range of shades is pretty impressive, and the packaging is really cute.
