For starters it is so expensive, and the formula is so thick, it doesn't come with a pump but is an additional extra feature so even more expensive and the design of the bottle sees that you overspill all the time wasting product.
After so many good reviews I grabbed a bottle after being colour matched at a EL counter, but after only one application I was ready to pass it onto someone else, lucky for me one of my friends has been a doublewear user and lover for years and is the same shade as myself so it found its way into her hands.
It was like I had applied a thick layer of latex across my face, it felt rigid, and mask like I hated the feel, and every movement made a wrinkle set in the makeup. I can only assume it was due to my skin type being combination that made it such a pain, I applied using a brush and it was awful, tried with a sponge and it just went patchy. However, it looks so good on other people, my friend has oily skin and it looks amazing on her.
I brought the foundation from the Estée counter and I thought I was in love with it :( until my acne started going crazy! (Usually I don't get it really bad) but it was giving me huge swollen pimples that hurt and so I stopped it and my skin cleared up! (Had already gone through half a bottle). the application of the product wasn't very good either, if you didn't blend within 0.5 seconds you were left with orange lines as it oxidised. I used this once for a ball and the SPF turned the girl whiter than paper in every flash photo. I feel like I wasted $69 on a dissapointment.
Tips: Don't use this if you're using flash on your camera :(
