Exfoliator recommendations

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a facial exfoliant? My all time favourite is Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, I love the powder and how it foams really well. Unfortunatley, both me and my partner are students at the moment, so it isnt in the budget!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I love Nature's Refine Exfoliator.  It has a super fine feel and exfoliates really well.

Depending on your budget, there's always the cleanser on a face cloth option, it saves having to buy a specialised product and the face cloths are resusable.

That looks lovely - thank you for the recommendation.

It is funny you mention using a face cloth, it is something I always used to do and for some reason just got out of the habit of doing. I will do that in the meantime.

I really love Dermalogicas superfoliant but that's pricy so it's hard to justify. I've started using Neutrogena's new Bright Boost resurfacing micro polish and that's very similar to Dermalogica in texture and performance - and just $20'ish or cheaper if on special at farmers. It's a dual exfoliant - so physical and chemical. I'm really impressed so far.

Hello. I use essano Vitamin C Brightening Polishing Scrub. It is great for dry, sensitive skin as it is gentle enough to use everyday. It is also reasonably priced and easy to get from the supermarket.

I use a Konjac sponge! You can use them with or without products, I started out using it with products until i ran out and ended up preferring it without products!

I actually bought a backup the last time i got one to try out on shaving rash to see the effect. And wow! Pain free which is my worst issue with shaving rash!

I use The Herb Farm's Purifying Exfoliating Cream and it's simply amazing! It's super creamy so even after giving your skin a good scrub it's left feeling nourished and soft not rubbed raw and stripped like other exfoliators. Really great if you have sensitive skin.

I just bought the Skinfood Exfoliator so looking forward to trying it. Those people on the Skinfood site are so good, got a free Skinfood Face Wipes with my order for spending over $35.00, they sent me a moisturiser by mistake instead of the exfoliator, so then sent the exfoliator and I got to keep the moisturiser for free, and to top it all off, got free postage.

One that really stands out from memory is the Dr Lewinns Face Polishing Gel. Mid range price but really adored this.

Nat and Kellie got back to me confirming the spam account had been removed. Was a weird one.... mentioned an exfoliating product  said she'd been doing reviews and linked to them and my dumb early morning self clicked the link which went to a gambling (slots) site... and the br profile had no reviews, just the one post and was also going on about playing slots.

get. A. Life.... loser

I clicked on a link on here once and I still get spam, so annoying. It goes straight to my trash but I wish there was a way so that it didn't get through at all, some of it is shall we say is questionable.

Thanks Silvene, I do use Gmail and I have it so that it goes straight to my trash but didn't realize that it can be deleted without me seeing them. I will have to check this out :-)

I clicked on the link too. As a mod I deleted the comment but wasn't sure if I should block them for a first offense? In future I will just remove them.

Hey!
I use the the St Ives range of facial exfoliators! They are amazing and there are many different types which you can choose from. For example, blemish controlling exfoliator, even and brightening exfoliator, coconut scrub exfoliator for fresh skin! They are great for your skin and they work wonders if used often enough :)
Can purchase from your local supermarket and any chemist store!
