Tonight I had filo pastry to use up so I made savory mince pies. I made one big one and used an extra large muffin tin to make 6 smaller ones. Dinner and lunches done!

You can buy low carb/keto bread but it's around $10 a loaf and very small. Freyas however does a nice low carb loaf though and around $4 or so. It's higher carbs than the other loafs but a good place to start.

I looked into the Freya's Low Carb Bread a while back and stumbled across this interesting article.  Since reading it, I've stuck to low GI bread instead.

Mmmm that sounds good Lisa, but I know what you mean. I had 2 bananas and 4 nectarines then after I mowed the lawns I had a big bag of chicken chips. I've been eating cheese and crackers today and protein bars - all things I wouldn't usually eat.

Coriander! I knew people were super divided about this herb but didn't get the big deal. Tried coriander this week, firmly in the not for me camp.

You either love coriander or you don't. Some people carry a gene that makes it taste like soap. Thankfully I am not one of those people!

Coriander is delicious! It's the absolute best with spicy food. Guzman y Gomez chain Mexican in Aus has coriander at the salsa bar so you can add your own. Heaven.

I got Mexico tonight - fried chicken, two tacos and their guac , which I put together to make my own fried chicken tacos, plus corn chips. It's what I'd decided to have today before I do another month of counting more carefully and so I ubereats'd it; wasn't missing out

Did you buy tacos or tortillas? ;-) I'm having fish 'tacos' but with lettuce cups, no tortillas.

It's coz the ones I prefer to buy are these ones that say 'taco tortillas' and my brain abbreviated it to tacos lol
SooziesWorld

Well they're tortillas you use for tacos I guess? Lol. I only corn ones if I can help it.
trudijoy

I like these ones coz they're a good little size so you don't end up with more tortilla than filling, and they stay soft and pliable
