Yes ours too! Would you believe that we remove in excess of 30+ spammers a day! And that's with reasonably robust spam filters and the fact that they need to sign up to do it so they're not bots. We're continually working on ways to make them be gone!

Its a shame you can't make the membership like a group so no one new can get in without going through a joining process first - like they get checked by an administrator.

That's actually a good idea about a joining process to filter out the spammers. Wow such a high number to go thru each day to prevent this from happening .

I wonder... if the forum was not viewable by public, would that help reduce the spamming? I wonder how spammers choose their target?

Or even something like Review Experts can post threads directly to the forum, but anyone else needs to be approved by the moderator before the post can be released?
