I'm curious has anyone done anything surgery wise cosmetically?
overseas?
Ive been looking at cosmetic procedures, and they look great.
i haven't done Botox yet, I'm thinking if I do something I might as well go for it.
and if so was it good?
Should I?
results? Anything to be scared off?
thanks :)

I've had extensive dental work done in Thailand. I used to visit regularly so I checked the dentist out first and had a filling done there before returning for more work. Dental work is quite different from cosmetic surgery though. I wouldn't be keen to do that either here or overseas. The risk of getting it Donne overseas is that you're unlikely to be covered by AC like you would be here if things go wrong.
I'd be cautious and instead go to a Caci Clinic first and start with one of their programs for dealing with aging skin. I've seen people have amazing results with Botox and fillers - way better than surgery, which often ends up looking bizarre and fake, let alone all the risky side effects (particularly with unknown overseas surgeries). Caci have payment plan options too. I'm thinking of trying one of them at some point. Just my 2 cents! Fillers last about a year too, and act as preventive, as does Botox.
I've had Botox multiple times in Bali and Australia. We lived in Indonesia so anything medical or dental we got sent to Bali/Aus/Jakarta or Singapore. Singapore was a main place but I don't think stuff is cheaper there. My parents had extensive dental work done in Bali - crowns etc. and had no problems. My cousins go to India for dental work - I'm not too sure I'm ok about that though.
There is a breast augmentation place in Sydney whose price rivals Thailand prices - maybe $5000, I've been eyeing them off for years but feel I might be too old to be worried about things like that.

definitely recommend Botox (or either of the other brands that are available - same thing different name as 'botox' is the brands name for it like panadol (paracetamol)). Especially before the wrinkles really set in. Sometimes it's not cheaper though - there is a place in Wellington that's quite cheap for it and they did a great job for me. Dental work is such a rip off! Also... my aunties sister works at a hospital in Bangkok and so my aunt and uncle have no problems recommending procedures there. I'd be worried about getting my face done though. I have a much much older friend that had her eyelids done overseas but I can't remember where - I'll try and find out. She looks good for an older lady (65ish)
