So it's started. Christmas stuff has invaded everything and I have just seen the Makeup Revolution advent calendar that is due to be released. Now I'm getting excited as I forgot about all those wonderful beauty advent calendars.
Wonder what other brands will do one this year. Who do you think should? I bet Benefit and Body Shop will again. I will probably have to get this makeup revolution one though firstly.

There are spoilers at this link so DO NOT click if you don't want to see what is in some of the Beauty Advent calendars. Did not know Charlotte Tilbury was doing one. It is uber expensive though.

Oh my, that Charlotte Tilbury one would be such a treat, but I'm definitely not paying that price! I'd rather save some money and just get the Bronze & Glow that I've been lusting after for forever and a day.
The Jo Malone and Body Shop ones are taunting me. I won't be getting any though lol my BRBB can be my early advent calender, because lets be real, I would've opened the whole calendar in one day just like my BRBB anyway.

Maree at the moment that would be about $110-$112 the exchange is not in our favour at all for these wonderful things!!
Kirsty it was Jessica (G1ggles) who got that Selfridge one last year, my hubby tried to get me one but they sold out within 48 hours of going on sale. He even emailed Selfridges about getting it bless him, and apparently he is on a watchlist for when they get officially released this year hehehe.
That spoiler is awesome!! there is a part of me that wants to get one of each, especially the Charlotte Tilbury one *faints* wonder if I do a no buy now and then get loads of calenders if that big influx of goodies each day will make me stick to it.
Thought I had lost the love of Christmas but grown up advent calenders have slowly restored that spirit =)

I've always wanted a beauty advent calendar - they are always so expensive though (sob). I want to get my mits on The Body Shop one if they release again this year - I'm sure they will! I've been thinking of making my own one for friends/family this year too. Fill them with super awesome and cheap (emphasise the cheap) makeup like Jordana, Milani, etc.
Benefit's doing a 12 days of gorgeousness this year as opposed to a full calender, which I'm pretty excited about and am planning to get. I've already tried/have most of the products but I like having minis for going away. I also really REALLY want the box of blushes, it sold out so quick last year and blush is one of my biggest beauty weaknesses.
Chaotic82, I wish someone would make me an advent calender too. How cool would it be if instead of a BRBB, there was a BRAC (Beauty review advent calender). That would be amazing
I know this isn't quite the same thing (but it's cute).
I was just watching this tutorial online and thought this could be handy (and could do something for a family member or friend with a set budget in mind).
I am thinking about doing one for my daughter this christmas with some chocolates and cute hair ties, lip balms etc
xx

I really wanted a benefit one the last couple of years, I've never tried benefit but its like the brand at the top of my list that I'm desperate for! However, it looked so dissapointing last year sooo I'm torn. AND I really want the body shop one but it's out of my budget :( I'd also love the lush one but I don't have a bath
Here is the Benefit one for this year. I was admiring it at Myer :)
There are also some other packs with *full size* products in for really cheap combo prices.
Keep an eye on NZ retailers of Benefit like Smith and Caughey's if you're keen - I think they'll go fast.

Aww Shaza there is no Too Faced one, show a release just the other day of the owner from Too Faced showcasing all the seasonal products. They have a theme this year called Christmas in Paris and it all very cute! But alas no advent calender.
In my opinion if you love Too Faced you will enjoy Benefit, the quality is similar the only thing missing is the chocolate scent =)

Hahaha I dunno what it is about Too Faced, I just love it. I want more, I'd love my collection to be all too faced :P The Benefit stuff I'm a bit... meh about, and I lied, I've tried the liner as well as the mascara, I didn't like the liner it was awful (which is why I'm meh). But I so so soooo want a pretty calendar fulled of prettys #firstworldproblems ahahaha
Binary it's worth it for me because it has:
Things I have tried and love and need(either as a backup or a restock): Ooh La Lift, They're Real, Porefessional, Total Moisture, Watts Up
Plus the Bad Gal Lash which I've used, but years ago and want to try again
Plus the Rockateur and the They're Real remover, which I want to try
That's 8/12 and the other three are lipglosses (always good) and High Beam, which I might regift.
