What's the best eyelash serums you have used?

Hi Ladies,
I've seen the threads on LiLash and Flash eyelash serum. Last I checked at Farmers they no longer sell LiLash instead they have Flash eyelash serum and this product called Loaded Lashes by Jo Hilton. I know some of you have used lash serums. I'm looking for a lash serum that not just lengthen but thicken my sparse lashes as well. I had trich for years and that has caused growth to be really slow and made my lashes short, stubby and sparse. Luckily I have Asian eyes which has helped to make it not very noticeable and I don't really need a lash conditioner as whatever moisturizing eye product I put on the bone surrounding my eyes gets on my eyelids and transfers on to my lashes via my creaseless eyelids. I also haven't been wearing masscara or using an eyelash curler (although I want to as soon as I have enough) so there's nothing really to dry it out and cause breakage.
I saw they recently starting selling Flash eyelash serum at the Farmers I go to and $69 for an eyelash serum isn't too bad but they didn't tell me it was just the introductory price and it could go up in a few months depending on sales. However I am aware that alot of these eyelash serums are really just overpriced eyelash conditioners in a tiny bottle with an applicator. To someone who dyes, perms, uses extensions, thick drying masscara and/or curlers a lash conditioner it can appear to be a miracle eyelash serum. Because their lashes aren't falling out as much and the tips aren't breaking off their lashes appear longer and fuller so they seem to be getting results. But they could've gotten the same results for alot cheaper by applying a little bit of castor or coconut or some facial oil to their lashes nightly with an eyeliner brush or clean masscara wand.
So what's the best eyelash serum you have used? Did you experience any side effects? Did it thicken your lashes as well as lengthen them? What happened when you stopped using it because of the price? Did you get the same results using castor or coconut oil or some other facial oil? Thanks ladies :-)

I have heard and seen so many great reviews about lilash and its sad farmers has stopped selling it, i know the big bucket deals sells it, maybe when they do the makeup sales you can get some from there?

I've heard amazing things about it too athough some people have reported side effects. I'm not sure whether the big bucket sales ones or the ones on ilovebeauty are genuine. There are dupes of lilash apparently and considering your putting it on your eyes you don't want to pay big bucks for a dupe. I don't mind buying other cosmetics like shampoo/conditioner, bodywash and stuff like that from big bucket sales.

I have been using cold pressed castor oil on my eyelashes and I must say I have noticed quite a big difference. My eyelashes appear longer and slightly thicker as well. It may take longer to see the results than other eyelash enchancing products but it definitely is cheaper and the end results are likely to be the same. Best of all it is all natural, no nasty chemicals.

Apparently the flash serum is good. But yes I've heard great reviews from castor oil and of course the all rounder coconut oil too :)

Lutece it could be wrong and it could be genuine but there's a chance it's not. It is cheaper than buying it from a store, ilovebeauty has a full size tube for about $129 but it's unboxed. It's possible it's the real deal and the box got damaged. If it's geniune it's a real grab as it's cheap but who wants to spend $129 and risk dissapointment. I person who has used the product might be able to tell the difference but I haven't so I wouldn't be able to tell whether I was getting ripped off or not. Some people on internet reviews of the product have reported some discoloration around their eyes or darker eye bags which was another concern of mine plus lash fallout if they stopped using it like their eyelashes were artificial kept there past their fallout date, but I don't know if that was cause by both the dupe and geniune one or just the dupe or just the real one.
Shazzali how long did it take before you saw results? What was your method and how often did you need to apply it? Where did get your oil from? Thanks.

have been using Lilash for about 4 months now and I think it's amazing!!  I did purchase mine for half price at a big bucket sale but decided to take the risk anyway. After a few weeks I really noticed a difference and then around christmas, I actually had to slow right down on applying it because my eyelashes were ridiculously long!! You know like when you apply mascara and it smudges on the top of your eyelids, I am now using it every second/third day and they are maintaining nicely. I think it's worth the initial outlay and works out so much cheaper than extensions.

milamumu1 did you have any side effects from using Lilash? How long did the tube last you?

Flash is a favourite of mine.  Ive found it works extremely well and am on to my 3rd tube.  No terrible side efftects though I do have naturally quite bruised eyelids (not sure if it was because of the serum...its been so long I cannot remember!).  So cheap too! $69

I got given LiLash as one of my Christmas presents this year and have been using it since.
My lashes are definately longer and darker but i don't think thicker.

I have started to grow dark hairs nder my eyes (even though I dont use LiLash on my bottom lashes) mainly I think because I put iton at night and my eyes tend to water a fair bit.

If you stop using lilash I find your old lashes will fall out and then you will have some shorter lashes still growing through which can look a bit odd.

I think I might give Flash a try next or maybe even Elizabeth Arden Prevage a try and see how I get on.

For now my main concern is what do I do with the hairs under my eyes :(

@juey-a that sounds a little scary! I think I would have stopped using it as soon as I saw any kind of side effects... There are a lot of lash serums out there and while I haven't tried any of them, I've heard that Lilash seems to have the most side effects. The one I've heard the best things about is Revitalash!

I have tried Flash for two weeks. I found that this actually did work. I used it on both eyelashes and eyebrows to fill in the gaps and increase the length.
I personally didn't experience any side effects and the only reason that I stopped using it was because I felt that my eyelashes were getting too long. I gave the product to my mother and she has been experiencing great results as well, with no side effects (and over a longer period than just two weeks).

I have tried LiLash and had some really great results.  I have always had lovely long lashes but I went through a stage last year where they just kept breaking and falling out so gave LiLash a whirl.  I use to aplly at night only and noticed a difference within a few weeks, my lashes started to grow again and by the time I got to the end of the bottle they were crazy long.  I have not purchased any since as I use a facial cleansing oil, a mix of castor and almond oil and this seems to be keeping them in great health.  Interesting to read other reviewers also use castor oil too.

Good to know what you guys think about these because i'm kinda scared of them, especially as the product is so close to eyes and mine are really sensitive.

It doesn't have any conditioning ingredients that keep eyelashes from feeling brittle or hard. It helps to grow longer eyelashes and also stimulate the lash growth.
I read many lilash reviews from various beauty sites and all seems to good. Hope its help for eyelashes and may change the look of lashes.

Sorry tannygirl, I just saw this. I had no side effects  other than  slightly darkened skin on my eyelids which is barely noticeable. I am still using the same tube:)

I'm using the Jo Hilton one, just over a week in - will update in a few weeks when I should start seeing some results :-)
I have never used an eyelash serum.  How do you use it?

I've just started using Bio Oil to remove my eye makeup, after finding that tip on another makeup site.  Not only does my makeup come of cleanly and quickly, but it also coats my lashes and I have noticed the bottom ones especially have grown!!  The only other serum I have used was the Loreal one, and it did work, but took about a month to notice a slight difference.  I've only been using the Bio Oil for two weeks and can already see a difference!

Emzor it's amazing how just conditioning them can make them grow probably because they're less prone to breakage.

I'm currently using one from Cocohi called Beauty Road Eye Styling. It's not well known but it was cheap and so I decided to give it a shot. It was my first ever purchase off Ebay. I got two 10ml tubes for about $30, so worth a shot. I don't know if it worked or not since it would be a small difference if any, it could just an eyelash conditioner for all I know but at least it cheaper than most brands.

I swear by Oasis Beauty Lips and Lashes! I now have longer an lusious lashes
I have used lilash for a couple of years and never had any side effects just looong lashes. At the beginning it does take around 4-6 weeks to first start seeing any results. I have bought from reputable businesses and big bucket sales and not noticed any difference in quality. After the first couple of months I now only need to use it every 2nd to 3rd day. I use on top and bottom lashes. Just recently ive tried oasis beauty lip and lashes and now I alternate with lilash as ive found the oasis product gives more fullness to my lashes. :)

I read this thread with interest, as eyelash serum was next on my Want list - but I can't justify the price of Lilash. I'll probably start off with castor oil and see how that goes, then only spend more money if I have to haha!

This one worked for me :)

I've been using it for a couple of months and have noticed a drastic difference (in a good way). I have eyebrows that need plucking rather than filling in. At 50 that's a miracle lol :)

That is pretty good. Lashtonic seems to be getting mixed reviews for lashes but seems to work well for eyebrows.

I think it's all a case of finding what works for yourself. Can be expensive though. I put some mascara on today (for the first time in ages) and I did notice the difference.

Ive been procrastinating doing my reviews for both Lilash vs Revitalash  - the winner for me is *drum roll* . . . .   Lilash!

I like the suggestions of caster oil and bio oil being used to help coat and treat your lashes. I might have to try that given I've reacted to serums and mascara before (even have a little pottle of steroid ointment prescrribed from the doc by my bed in case of swelling).

How long does the Li lash last, and is it something you need to use continuously to maintain lash growth?

Tattooprincess, I think it depends on the size of the tube you buy. I haven't personally used it, but with all lash serums they keep your lashes in the growing phase so if you don't keep on using it a least 2-3 times a week I think your lashes stop staying in that growth cycle so they fall out naturally and grow back to your natural length.

If you were going to try a lash serum for the first time I would recommend trying Flash first as it's affordable and gives really good results for much less than the other more expensive ones like Revitalash and Lilash.

Been using Lilash for about 4 months now and I can definitely see a huge improvement. I've used Flash pretty consistently in the past and although it did make my lashes longer, it wasn't as obvious as lilash.

To be honest, I'm just tired of looking for a remedy that really works. Now I just use several sets of false eyelashes https://alleyelashes.com/hudabeauty/ It takes a minimum of time and doesn't hurt my eyelashes. I continue to use castor oil as a natural nutritional supplement, but I don’t really hope for fast growth.
