Okay, I just recently came across these. I don't know why I didn't hear of them before or see them. I have really tiny asian monolids and short stumpy lashes that are different lengths and sparse. I have tried the Za eyelash curler and I guess it does a reasonable job but now that I've heard there's half eyelash curlers I think it would do the job more efficently for my eye shape without pinching my eyelid or crimping some lashes and missing others entirely.
I've seen Mac has one, Shumera has one and Elf does too. I don't know where I can get the Shumera one here in NZ, Mac I'll check the Mac counters to see if they have it and ELF the selection is fairly limited at K-mart and online. So has anyone bought one of those half eyelash curlers? Did it work well for you? Is there any brands that you recommend?

Half Eyelash Curlers?

Shu Uemura (I think this is what you meant with Shumera?) I've only seen at parallel importers in Aus and NZ but I'd try Daiso or the other Japanese stores in Auckland, which sell online. They won't have Shu Uemura, but "asian beauty' is just 'beauty' in Asia so the beauty sections of the cheap stores, or Ippondo for that matter, may stock them.
Oh I found Yestyle sells it at much less than other sites and they do free shipping for orders over 55NZD. I've never ordered from that site. Maybe I will order from them sometime soon. The reviews on the S curler says that it's really handy but the rubber piece likes to fall out. I'll have to look into it some more.
