Yes, my lids are pretty oily and without a primer the shadow always goes walkabout. On weekdays I always use Color Tattoo or ELF smudge pot for all over colour and then change up the eyeliner or add some shadow at the edges for some depth. One day I'd like to try a MAC paint pot, maybe as a Christmas present to myself when I feel like a splurge!

Another vote for Mac paint pots from me. I have super oily lids and have tried lots of primers- this one has been foolproof for me. Plus it lasts forever!
