I'm curious to know what everyone's makeup staples that you reach for every day... or do you mix it up everyday?

Mine are
Rimmel stay matte translucent powder
Rimmel brow pencil in taupe
Bourjois chocolate bronzer
Stila stay all day liquid liner in intense black
mac msf in soft and gentle
tarte lights camera lashes mascara

The rest of the product I use depends on the day... like lipstick eyeshadows and foundation I swap between a few

I mix most things up on a daily basis, because I'm super eager to use everything that is in my collection! I feel bad when I leave a product untouched for too long, haha.

My current everyday staples are:
Napoleon Auto-pilot primer
Art Deco brow pencil in no.6
ELF eyebrow kit in Ash
Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner in Nude
ELF undereye setting powder
L'Oreal Glam Bronze in Dark

The rest depends on my mood and my skin on the day!

The only staple product that I use every day no matter how I mix up my routine, because I do mix it up, honestly I have 4 foundations (plus I just brought 1 more) about 6 BB Creams so I switch these up as my skin needs change.  But I can not live without my Too Faced Candlelight Invisible Powder, its my finishing powder of pixie dust that leaves my face with a all day photo filter on it.

bb cream (atm garnier but i prefer ZA)
coloured eyeliners (varies)
black eyeliner (atm mica gel pencil)
mascara (atm db savvy)
blush (atm Mac)
Rosehip oil and hairspray for my hair
perfume (atm either victorias secret bombshell or roberto cavalli exotica)
Lip gloss; occasionally bright lips (atm jordana creamy berries or vin rose)

And my BR forum reccommended Face of Australia translucent powder which makes my skin look doll-like

I dont do the same things everyday really. I like to use different products so I dont get bored.  Although every weekday, I use my chocolate bar palette because I am trying to pan it but  I allow myself different options on the weekend. Lately ive been really into using korean bb creams rather than foundation but even then I have like 6 different ones of those on the go lol.

I keep my main stuff in a cupcake shaped tin on my shelf so that I have access to it every day. Just as a warning I use a lot of products. Mine would be:
L'Oreal Magic Lumi primer
Skin79 BB Cream
Maybelline Fit Me concealer
ELF HD Undereye setting powder
Either my Natio Mineral Foundation or Pressed Powder
2Glo Winter bronzer (I actually wanna find a better one, this one is slightly too orange for me)
ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer in St Lucia which is new but I'm already in looove with. I don't use the blush all of the time, I switch it up with my Milani baked blush or Benefit Dandelion blush
ELF eyeshadow primer
Benefit High Beam
Avon Super Magnify mascara for bottom lashes
and Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara for top lashes.

I'm an eyeshadow junkie but my most used eyeshadow would be my Bronze Diamonds palette from Maybelline. Silly really considering they're all shimmers.

Like many of the ladies above I like to mix it up depending on my mood or occasion.

The things I always use are pretty boring,
Clinique Moisture Surge moisturiser and Urban Decays setting spray are the only two things I use religiously. Everything else depends on what I want to do or how my skin is that day.

I'm actually quite a boring person with my everyday makeup - sleep always wins over more time to do makeup.

This is my everyday list but in weekends and nights I mix it up all the time.

I always use;
Bioderma to clean my face.
Joyce Blok Sunscreen.
Collection concealer in the lightest shade to cream highlight.
Maybelline Age Rewind under the eyes.
MAC Concealer for pimple cover up.
L'Oreal Foundation for rest of skin.
Eyeliner, Mascara, I change up.
Benefit Brow Zings is the brow product for regular days, but is different for going out.
Blush gets changed.
MAC Mineralise Skinfinish Natural.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder wherever I want it.
Bronzer/contour my Body Shop Bronzer.
Lips change every single day.

Writing this was very interesting, I didn't really realise how many things I actually do change up on a daily basis.

I change it up everyday (this is probably why it takes me forever to actually use up products), but the one product I will always use is my Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I'd be crazy to go without a setting powder because of how oily my skin is!

Elf Eyebrow Kit
Benefit Fine One One
Australis Fresh and Flawless Powder
Its Skin Baby Face Gel Liner
Benefit They're Real
Etude House Oh My Lash Top Coat

Revlon colorstay foundation
Collection concealer if needed
Australis fresh n flawless powder
Moisture Mist bronzer
Eyeshadow from my W7 In The Buff pallette

I've been in a bit of a funk lately so have been doing the exact same makeup! (I blame my January and Feburary spending ban!)

Chi Chi foundation (primer is usually switched up)
MAC Prep and Prime pen as a concealer under the eyes
Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette to set and highlight.
I'll either use MAC cream blush in Ladyblush or skip blush depending on my mood.
bronze very lightly with Nars Laguna.
Eyes I will play it up but if I'm rushing I'll use:
Chi Chi baked eyeshadow in Call Me over the lid
Nars Laguna bronzer in the crease (or I'll use a similar colour from Lorac Pro palette or Makeup Geek Barcelona Sand)
depending on mood I'll line with Stila Stay all day liner or Maybelline liner (forget it's name) or I'll softly smudge a Chi Chi brown eye pencil into lash line.
EOH mascara.

Lips vary but I haven't been reaching for my dramatic colours lately. My favourites have been MAC Brave, Chatterbox or Gerard Nude lipgloss over MAC Spice pencil.

This is routine doesn't take me long which is good because I always seem to be rushing lately so haven't had time to play :(

The only staple item I have right at the moment is Oasis sun spf30 sunscreen. I received it from BR last year for trial and I've been slapping in on my face almost every sunny day since. Other than that I mix up products constantly but sometimes go through phases of using a particular product regularly for a while.

My only staple every single day is filling in my eyebrows. I change brow products often too, I would use probably three different ones over the course of a week.

Well it seems everyone is keen to mix it up which I think shows how keen everyone is on makeup and trying new things and using everything in their collections.

I do try and mix up my look but I definitely have a few staples I like to include in the mix. My Billion Dollar brows, Inika mineral foundation and at the moment the Australis AC contour kit is fast becoming a regular.

I gotta admit, I don't wear makeup everyday unless I'm going out everyday, and even then I don't go hard at all. I don't apply foundation unless it's a night out, and BB cream only if I'm having a super bad skin day. But I do however use the Too Cool For School Escalator mascara and I have to say, it is basically the most amazing mascara I have used! What's really vool about it also is that you can twist the lid, and make the brush smaller or bigger to get all your lashes a good coat!

I don't use makeup everyday but my face regime consists of Skinfood Cleans All then Nivea Q10 day cream.  I always have red lipstick on because it's my feel good thing to do for myself every single day.  It gives me a sense of power and makes a statement

Hands down I don't go a day without using my
Skin 79 Pink BB Cream,
LA Girl Concealer and
Nude by Nature Mineral Powder.
Then the rest depends on the day and how much time I have :)

Can someone tell me the hype around BB creams? Are they like light coveration foundations that help with uneven skin or are they just like a light weight foundation and thats it or do they just fix uneven skintone?
What's better; a bb cream or a cc cream?

Pumau in my experience BB & CC creams are similar but CC creams hide more than BB Creams, both cover imperfections and hide redness. And some give you a light to medium coverage, I like to use BB cream as a primer for my foundation and I end up using less foundation that way as Double wear is pricey.

Currently I'm using
- Essano moisturiser
- Maybelline dream pure
- Almay wake up powder
- Mary Kay eyeshadows and blush
- Lip gloss, balm or stick

and at the bus stop if I have time, Mascara. I carry a small pocket mirror for this purpose and my lipstick as well if I didn't apply it at home.

For hair I have been using the BB cream for hair that was in the December BRBB.

Pumau, BB creams are beauty balms they have a blend of moisturises, primers and acts like a tinted moisturiser really, it gives a light coverage effect or acts as a perfect base under heavier foundations.  CC creams are colour correctors, they are like BB creams but the have ingriedents in them that help correct your skin, for areas of redness, blemishes, black under eyes to help even out the skin tone and offer a light coverage like a BB cream.

Yeah I mix things up most days hahaha I just have to much make-up NOT to change things.

But I refuse to leave the house without at least mascara. I dont care which one although I have been abusing my Maybelline Falsies one quite a bit recently.

I just find if I dont then my eyes stink back into my face.
