Love Baby Doll, sweet and spicy at the same time, smells just like they say it does and works great on me

I first discovered Baby Doll at the young age of 15 when travelling to Australia with my Nana. She treated me to choosing a perfume of my choice at the Duty Free store, needless to say it probably became the most painful, drawn out act of kindness she had ever offered me. Almost 2 hours later I had fallen in love with the most pleasant smelling perfume possible. The bottle was gorgeous and the light pinky shade drew me in as a teenage girl immediately! How ever it was the delightful grapefruit smell that screamed out "TAKE ME HOME!!!". I have never, ever had a day go by in my life where I do not own a bottle of Baby Doll. The smell is fresh and sweet. It will always remind me of my more youthful self and the warm days that quickly followed in the Australian heat all those years ago. Yves Saint Laurent products have a staying power unlike any other. A quick spritz in the morning and it lasts beautifully all day. I have wonderful comments on what fragrance I am wearing by people continuously when wearing Baby Doll, which lets face it - Every girl loves!

I loved baby doll in my 20s. I bought a bottle recently (I'm in my early 30s now) and it's just not the same. It's still nice, and it reminds me of good times, but it's definetely a "backup" perfume now, I usually wear it when I feel like a change or I'm running low on my favourites.

The sweetest girliest smell, light yet feminine scent. Much like marshmallows and sweet peas. Easy to wear in summer.

got given this as a gift years ago, and I liked it a lot, very strong but nice notes tried it at the store a couple of moths ago and It didn't really sing to me, as much as it did when I was younger. I think I really liked the name of it the best lol

This scent is right up my alley of sweetly balanced/floral fragrances. While I absolutely adore it, I have had several problems with the round golden cap not coming off the bottle properly. My last one was only the 50 ml bottle, and when I came to use it, the cap came off with the spritzer. As I could'nt fix it, my poor perfume evaporated within 48 hours! Alas, wrapping it with glad wrap and keeping it in the fridge could not salvage even a few drops of my baby doll. My money was wasted. I still love this scent though, and will enjoy a spritz here and there at a fragrance counter, but won't risk using the bottle again.

This is a classic for me, I used it as a teenager. Its gorgeous and fruity, and pink and adorable in that packaging! Its great, worth a go but if youre a bit sensitive, it does have a very strong smell. Which is good in a way because the scent lasts, just make sure you dont spray too much!

i am an absolute YSL lover.i love everything ysl but not this fragrance.i have tried it afew times but it is way too sweet and rosey for my liking.it would be perfect for a young girl.a very bright and floral perfume and strong scent of pineapple.to me sadly it smells like a heap fragrance almost like a room freshner. Not something suitable by YSL but i can definately see a young lady a wearing it. It last good 3-4 hours.the only thing i like about this fragrance is the packaging,beautiful bottle and the name.looks good in the collection

The packaging of Baby doll is gorgoeus, the bottle is beautiful too, but I brought this perfume without trying.

I found the scent to be extremely overpowering, I sprayed it on both my wrists and within minutes I had a headache. The smell was so strong I had to wash my wrists to remove the scent as much as possible.

I tried it again several times over the next few weeks sadly with the same result.

Was really disappointed as I knew this was a favourite of many of my friends but I just couldn't handle the intense smell so I gifted to a friend.

I really love this perfume, it was the first perfume that was ever brought for me as a teenager, and it always brings back memories. The only way I can describe this perfume is being very sweet, soft , and girly. It probably wouldn't be one that I would buy for myself these day's, but it would probably be something I buy for my little sisters instead. However if it was given to me as a gift I would quite happily keep it as a back up perfume. The bottle is very cute too.. Overall I would recommend this as a gift for teenagers, or for yourself as a spare/occasional perfume not an every occasion one :)
