I was pretty excited about this product. I love cream cleansers but I wouldn’t repurchase this one. Pros; No break outs or terrible reactions. Sensitive around the eyes. When massaging and cleansing your face it feels nice and creamy. Affordable and my bottle lasted quite awhile (I used it 1-2 times a day) Cons: Fragrance so if you have super sensitive skin stay away. I like my skin to be completely clear of cleanser when I apply my other products. I found it difficult to wash off, like there was a layer left on my face (maybe the silicone in the product?). I needed to use quite warm/hot water or scrub with a wash cloth to make sure the product was off my face. Doing this left my skin feeling dry which makes using a cream cleanser for dry/sensitive skin pointless. (This is probably just me). It doesn’t remove makeup well (I wear minimal makeup and nothing is waterproof so most cleansers remove it).

I have dry skin, and I prefer to use a cream cleanser over a foaming or oil one, because I find them less drying. However, finding an affordable cream cleanser is not easy. I decided to try this one when Nivea was on special at the supermarket.
I have been using this for a few weeks now and I actually really like it. You get 150ml in a translucent plastic tube. The colour of the cream is pink, which you can make out through the packaging. The bottle stands on its head, draining all the product towards the lid, which helps prevent any from going to waste.
One of the reasons I had not tried this cleanser before is because I thought it was an exfoliant as well, and my skin is too sensitive to exfoliate everyday. The pale pink product contains darker pink dots, like microbeads, which feels gritty when the product is first applied, however, they seem to dissolve when the product is massaged into the skin. I am wondering if they are actually dots of oil, or what the packaging calls its "Hydra IQ" technology, and not exfoliants at all. That would explain why my skin does not feel dry after using this.
This cleanser is gentle enough to use everyday, and has not dried out my skin. In fact, I seem to have fewer blackheads on my face since I started using this. It massages on well, and is easy to rinse off. The smell is a pleasant soapy, rosy scent. It is not great at removing makeup, however, that is not an issue for me as I always use a makeup remover if I have been wearing makeup.
Altogether, a good value, affordable cream cleanser for dry, sensitive skin.
The face wash comes in an attractive transparent pink tube. I like that it's transparent as you can see how much product is left. The tube made it very easy to squeeze out product, however the product is very thick, and there is a large amount of product left in the tube that I can't squeeze out; which is a bit of a waste.
The cleanser is thick and white in consistency, with pink beads in it to exfoliate. A little of this goes a long way, so it's quite an economical product. The cleanser has a light, sweet scent to it, but it is very subtle. I do have oily, sensitive skin and this is reccomended for dry, sensitive skin, but I didn't find that to be a problem. This was a very gentle cleanser and very pleasant to use. It didn't leave my skin feeling oily, and I did not experience any breakouts or negative change in my skin from using this cleanser. That being said, I didn't really notice any positive change either but this cleansed well.
This is a very affordable cleanser, and it did a decent job, and I would not mind purchasing it again.
I was gifted this by a friend for xmas. It is a pale baby pink in the tube with some more pink exfoliating beads. For the amount of beads in there, they shouldn't have bothered and kept it bead free.
I don't have sensitive skin, it's normal combination type but I do on occasion use sensitive as a bit of a treat for the skin as they are gentle. There was no foaming in any sense of the word with this one. I found that sometimes it wasn't gentle on my skin and made it itch on occasion but the next time I used it I was fine and had no itchiness, I'm talking cheeks and not eye area. It did leave my skin clean and soft as it has almond oil in it even when it had irritated it. It took off most of my makeup but not all this has nothing regarding makeup removal on the packaging, I do this a couple of times when I couldn't be bothered hunting down my remover. The smell in it is classic Nivea scent, not my favourite smell.
I'm not planning on a repurchase of this in the near future as I do prefer the Skinfood cream cleanser.
I love Nivea products but this one was a let down. I would use the Sukin Cream Cleanser instead. It's very average, I wouldn't recommend this because it's not as moisturising as I thought it would be
Sometimes I have dry skin and I wanted a cleanser that would moisturise my skin, I found this is a milky type product and it doesn't really foam on your face. It cleaned all my makeup off but I did find it left my skin feeling dry after and it didn't help with my breakouts. The product feels nice and smells nice but doesn't do anything for me.
I found this protect nice an creamy an little scented , i used it everyday for about a week with out using any other products an found it was very drying an made me have really bad breakouts which i never get so that was a bad thing , i like how clean an radiant my face felt when i first used it but then once my skin had dried i noticed dry patches around my nose an on my fore head , i wouldn't use this again as i feel its not for dry sensitive skin .
I have very dry skin and have been using this for about a month. Its very soothing and not too harsh on my face which is nice. I do still use quite a heavy moisturiser after though so this could helping too. Its not the best as a make up remover facial cleanser but otherwise not to bad. I would probably consider buying it again
I have been using this for the past month or so. It is soothing on my skin and doesn't sting like some do, however it is also quite drying for me. It is quite a thick cream with not much smell to it. I will finish the product off and would use again if I needed to but it wouldn't be my first pick to purchase.
Tips: I use it in the shower to save on time.
Gentle and cleans my skin thoroughly. Good to use twice daily without stripping my skin from its natural oils
