Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Review

I've never been a "floral" perfume kind of girl - give me sweet and/or citrusy type scents any day - but I absolutely adore Flowerbomb. It's one of the few floral perfumes I've found that isn't super sickly. I'd definitely recommend it if you're wanting to try something different in a floral perfume but you don't currently like what is out there.

Throughout my high school years, I had often heard about a fragrance called Flowerbomb, and how it smelt amazing. It was not until after high school when I started using Floral scents that I considered buying the fragrance. Naturally, I was really tempted to buy Flowerbomb, but was hesitant because of the price. However, I took the plunge and treated myself to a 100ml bottle! This was honestly the best thing I have ever done with my fragrance endeavours. I am in LOVE with this fragrance, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough about it.

The bottle shape reminds me of a grenade, but with clean lines-perhaps reflecting Viktor and Rolfs interpretation of a ‘flower bomb’. The glass bottle, with its simplistic silver lid, and silver label adds a touch of quality and sophistication, which is reflected within the fragrance and unfortunately, the price tag. The fragrance itself is a soft pink colour, and smells divine. The fragrance is an outburst of flowers, reflecting a feminine fragrance, which makes me feel good!! I smell hints of sweetness in this, which reminds me of vanilla, and if it didn’t cost so much, I would think about drowning my clothes in it. Another positive about this fragrance is a little goes a long way; one or two sprays in the morning is more than enough to smell amazing for the whole day- I agree with other reviews when I say less is more! This also makes the product more economical, I have had my bottle for over 8 months now, and I still have over ¼ of the bottle left. This was for a time, my every day fragrance, but now I am savouring it for special occasions, until I can save up to buy another bottle.

I recommend this to all those who like floral fragrances, and even those who don’t! I think this is a fragrance is a game changer that could make anyone love it!

Absolutely love this fragrance!! Was given a sample last time I bought my Gucci and couldn't wait to get a full size flower bomb!! Deff my new favourite!!

This is one of the most adored and trusted perfumes around. When I was looking for a new perfume for my wedding, this was my chosen one. It was nice and floral, and most importantly something my now husband hadn't smelled yet! Although pricey, this was definitely worth every penny and I will be buying this again!

This scent smells absolutely divine! It's quite a floral scent but not so much of that fresh floral smell but a more musky floral smell I would say - which is the perfect match for me, floral and musky! I also quite like the bottle its really elegant.

The only disadvantages of this perfume is that it didn't seem to linger all day and it is really expensive - completely broke my bank!

This perfume is the most heavenly thing ever. It is so beautiful and floral and has such a long wear. I find myself being able to smell it on items of clothing a few days after applying it. Everything about this makes the price not even matter. Beautiful packaging, beautiful smell. Worth every cent!

I bought this duty free and still winced a bit at the price, but now the bottle's getting low I'm already planning to get another one. The scent, as you might expect from the name, is very floral and feminine, but also distinctive and memorable. I'm trying to pick out the components, without real success - freesia and lily maybe with a hint of carnation spiciness. One problem is that I can't wear it to work as my friend says it threatens to trigger one of her migraines...for this reason I've marked it down slightly, as it's clearly not for everybody.

What a beautiful fragrance this is! I have the 100ml bottle and although quite pricey I think it was well worth the spend. I've had it now for just over 3 months after wanting to purchase it for well over a year- after smelling it on a friend i finally bit the bulket abd bought it. It quickly has become my number one choice of fragrance to wear daily. The beautiful floral fragrance has depth which is not too overpowering and a hint of sweetness but is not sickly. I've had many many comments whilst wearing this from people of all ages and tastes which makes me think this is a real classic- ideal as a gift as I I think it's very likeable. The fragrance has awesome staying power and lasts all day long. The bottle looks gorgeous in my counter top without being overstated. If you're looking for a fragrance that makes you feel beautiful, glamourous and a little bit sexy this is the one for you .

I have the 50mL EDP, my friend bought it for me over a year ago. I wear this perfume when I am going out (dinner/drinks). The scent is quite florally, but it's not as sweet as YSL Babydoll (for example). Wearing this perfume makes me feel feminine and sexy! Love this scent, and it has very good staying power! I can put it on in the morning, and can still smell it on my skin the next morning! I also really like the packaging, and I love the fact that the perfume is pink! I think it's definitely worth the money. It's expensive, but lasts a long time, and you don't have to do multiple sprays as it sticks around!

If you are a fan of scents which aren't worn by the masses then this is probably one you might want to avoid however.. The fabulous thing about fragrance is that it can smell different on each body!

I was skeptical because of how popular this was.. In passing at Farmers I had always tried it on and was impressed by its staying power and power packed punch that wasn't too over powering but very easy to wear and feminine.

I ended up splurging on a bottle of this and the extreme.. I find this version is better for day time/casual wear where as the extreme is ideal for night time. Both fragrances have incredible stayability which you would expect from such a high end fragrance.

I believe this is one fragrance that near almost everyone could pull off. Although there is a hint of sweetness in there, it is in no way sickly and I believe will appeal to almost every taste in fragrance!
