Ressurfaced my skin!

I was excited to be offered an opportunity on this trial team. This range claims to resurface and renourish ageing or damaged skin. This is my first time using this type of skincare.

STEP 1- CLARIFY -Glycolic Clarifying Cleanser

This bottle came in a pump bottle. Each pump disperses enough for one application making it last a very long time. The consistency is smooth white with a fresh musky floral scent. I put this on for ten minutes each time morning and night for the duration of two weeks on. At first I feel a tingling sensation . It's not painful and I notice it goes away by the second week of use. This process feels like a cleaning cleansing effect. My skin is still feels hydrated, hasn't tightened like others I've tried.

STEP 2 - RESSURFACE- Micro Cellular Age Correcting Peel

This bottle is also in a pump plastic bottle. The consistency of this is like a clear gel. It smells like a strong alcohol with floral mixed in. Very Weird smell almost like a bad perfume. When I first put it on I felt a burning sensation. This went away after a couple of minutes. I notice as I progress with this peel on every second night it's like I can't feel any burning or tingling. My skin appeared red on the first week but notice that it's fully restored by the second to third week.

STEP 3 - REVIVE- Tri Collagen Accelerating Serum

This bottle was the show stopper amongst the other skincare packaging. It has this pearlescent white glass. The most beautiful serum bottle I've ever owned. The dropper is good quality too . The texture of this serum feels soft and more refined. It has a soft musk scent that lingers after use. It works its magic after each cleanse and peel. My skin feels glowy as time goes on .

STEP 4 - RESTORE- Antioxidant Regenerative Cream

This came in a large sized pot. I had to ask my partner how to work this one. He showed me that I push down on the plastic and it pushes out enough cream for each use. This way I guess the cream isnt exposed . The texture of it is smooth creamy non greasy softly fragranced. This part feels like I'm giving my skin food to nourish and heal. I would have liked some SPF Added to the formula of it.

STEP 5 - DETOX- Enzymatic Detoxifying Mask

This one came in a long thin tube. Similar branding to the other bottles. The colour of it is a light purple shade quite light creamy consistency. I put this on once a week. I feel a slight tingle with this but it goes away with time.

When I first started this skincare system my skin was red and dry in an awful condition. During the course of six weeks I saw my skin transform from being red and dry to being smooth , hydrated glowy skin. There was a small reduction with my fine lines . This is the best skincare system I've ever tried. It's ideal for resurfacing and restoring skin. Definately worth its price. I had my doubts but I was wrong. It worked well for me.

Dr.Lewinns Reversaderm Complete System

Firstly, thank you Beauty Review for allowing me to take part in this amazing trial. I adore skin care products and had a great time using and learning about this range.

Step one: Glycolic Clarifying Cleanser This comes in a 100ml white palstic bottle with a clear lid. It is a glossy finish which looks quite classy. There is a light fragrance which is like fruity, nice and not at all offensive or overpowering. To use this I pumped twice and there was enough soft white lotion to cleanse my whole face and neck. My skin was damp to start with and I rubbed in circular movements. The cleanser felt soft and I did not notice the slight tingling that some users have said occured. I used this morning and evening. I did remove my eye make up first as this is not suitable for your eye area. Step Two: Micro-Cellular Age Correcting Peel This clear liquid comes in a 50ml bottle with a pump applicator. I used two-three pumps for my face and neck. You leave this on for around 30 minutes every second evening. The first time i used this I wasnt sure what to expect. Being called a peel conjures up all sorts of things, however I was plesently surprised. It goes onto your skin so nicely and evenly and feels beautiful and no way do you feel your skin is being peeled off. I felt a slight tingle in the second week of use but it was not uncomfortable. Step Three; Tri-Collagen Accelerating Serum. This gorgeous serum comes in a stout little 30ml bottle with an eye dropper for a dispenser. I used this after I cleansed my face and neck, very lovely to use. It absorbed well and there was no shine or oily residue. I found this not to have much of a fragrance to speak of. It is rich and creamy, as you would exoect from a serum, very pleasent to use.

Step Four: Antioxident Regenerative Cream This is probably my favourite product in the range. It comes in a 50ml pot, which has a very unique delivery system. You press down on the top and the cream pops out of something that looks like a huge pore, very clever because no bacteria or dirt can get into your very expensive, beautiful cream. The fragance of this cream is divine. This cream absorbs beautifully and is non greasy. Your skin feels soft and smooth and looks fresh and amazing.

Step Five: Enzymatic Detoxifying Mask This mask you will use once each week. It comes in a 70ml tube and is a pale blueish colour. It goes onto your skin nicely and will dry in about 15-20 minutes. Afterwards you will rinse with warm water and be totally in awe as to how you skin is looking and feeling. It looks fresh and well...new.

Over the six week process my skin has started to look better and better. I was hoping to see a reduction in my age spots on my face but that didnt happen. What I did notice was clearer skin with more of an even skin tone. I am more than happy with these results and will continue to use the range. The cost is out of my budget to re purcahse again but I will remember this trial with fondness.

Tips: This has been an amazing experience using this great range of skin care products. I could not afford to purchase this range, so I am extra grateful for this opportunity.

I would have lovd to have seen an spf in this range, however it is not a huge issue. I am sure most of us now are in the habit of daily sunscreen application.

Keep these products away from your eye area as it is not designed for that region of your face.

noticeably fresher skin!

After accepting this trial I had a case of butterflies - my current skincare works for me, what if i was about to mess up my face? Words like 'acid' and 'peel' are kinda scary when you're talking about your face. But, accept it I had, and so I was going to do it.

I started this on the first of December which made it way easier to track the schedule - i think in future i'd try and start on the first of the month to make sure that I was keeping track of which days to do the peels and masks, because the second session, with it beginning after Xmas and happening while I was on break, confused me.

This range comes packaged as a range, in a variety of white bottles, tubes and pottles with metallic blue and black writing. It looks classy, slightly medicinal, and expensive.

The GLYCOLIC CLARIFYING CLEANSER is actually far more of a mild product than I was anticipating. It comes in a sizeable bottle equipped with a pump action dispenser This is the only dispenser that got messy, but this could be due to the fact that you use this one twice a day. The cleanser lotion is white, medium thickness and has a faint scent - nothing I can put my finger on, it just smells clean and fresh. You massage this onto damp skin for 30 seconds, leave for a couple of minutes and rinse off. This doesn't feel like it's stripping anything out of skin and it certainly doesn't feel like there is acid in it, which I was worried about. It does tingle (note: not hurt, but it's a sharp tingle) when you use it the day after a peel/mask), which can be disconcerting, but the tingle is only momentary. This also didn't remove my makeup - so I used a cleansing oil first.

The TRI-COLLAGEN ACCELERATING SERUM is the most expensive feeling product in the range. It's extreme luxury, from the dispenser being a wee dropper (implies that you should only use a little) to the luxurious feeling of this on skin. This is probably my favourite in the range - it literally feels like its rejuvenating my skin from the moment i put it on my face. It's hydrating without being at all greasy (the word 'serum' usually makes me feel oily without even touching the product!) and super lush and divine on skin. It's a thick-ish white cream with a lotion-type scent - really fresh and luxurious.

The ANTI-OXIDANT REGENERATIVE CREAM comes in some of the coolest packaging I've seen yet. It's a pottle, but with a pump lid that you simply push down on to have product pop up. It DOES dispense more than I feel necessary so I try and only 'pump' it very lightly. This is a very thick, off-white cream with a typical face cream scent. Its spreads well and hydrates beautifully, with no residue and fast absorption. When combined with the serum it genuinely feels like you're gifting your skin with a wee mini facial a couple of times a day.

Tips: But wait, there's more!

The MICRO-CELLULAR AGE CORRECTING PEEL was probably the one that was scaring me the most. I felt like it was going to be a microdermabrasion, remove layers of skin, leave me red and sore kinda deal. I was so wrong. It's a frosted thin gel that you cover your face with and leave for about 20 mins. The first few times (this is an 'every second day one) I didn't feel it at all, for the second week it's definitely more noticeable, because you're putting it on fresh skin. It has a strong chemical smell that you get used to really quickly. This is the one that really feels like it's 'working' in that my skin always feels fresher following this - and you know what? It's not red, scary looking or sore. The serum and lotion soothe any tenderness instantly but it's minimal anyway, and the fact that you use so little product means this will last for ages. This is used more as a mask - put it on, leave it 20-30 mins and wash it off. There's no visible 'peeling' involved!

Speaking of lasting for ages, the ENZYMATIC DETOXIFYING MASK, which you only use twice per cycle, for 15-20 mins per time, is an investment product really - you use such a small amount so infrequently that the cost per use isn't actually that bad. This replaces two of the peels per cycle and has a similar effect. The mask is a gorgeous pale purple shade, and is enriched with macadamia oil and saffron. It's a different kind of mask to the peel - less chemically smelling and more sort of a hydrating and replenishing feel; skin afterwards feels incredibly plump and hydrated. This is meant to detoxify and I definitely feel like my skin glows after using it.

As a whole, my skin has exhibited visible improvements over each two week cycle. I DO break out using this, from the detoxification, but apart from that the remaining skin is clear, radiant, hydrated and healthy - and the breakouts settle quickly. Moving forward I think I'll use this every few months for a skin rejuvenation, timing it so that I can be at home while doing so.

The cost will be the prohibitive factor from buying it again, and what stops me giving it a 5 star rating. It's a truly lovely range of products, which work well in conjunction with each other, but I don't honestly know if I can justify the replacement cost, which is a shame.

FINAL TIP: For the love of all that's good in the world, use sunblock. I used the Neutrogena Beach Spray and it made such a difference. I can't imagin putting the peel on sunburned skin (ouch) and sunburn on the fresh new skin would be awful too. if you're investing in this range invest in facial sunblock if you don't already have a good one!

Reversaderm by Dr Lewinns

Did someone say reverse!? A skin care regime that can assist in slowing down, and perhaps reverse, those pesky signs of aging. What more could a girl in her very early forties ask for?

My personal areas of concern consist of “experience lines” (that is the sophisticated term for wrinkles and crow’s feet!) around my eyes, down my nose, along my upper cheek bones and forehead. Minor pigmentation, age spots around the temple area, tiny bumps on my lower cheeks (which come and go) and overall dry skin. All things that may be unnoticeable to others but unfortunately I see them. All these concerns mean a lot to work on for one set of products but there is nothing like putting something to the ultimate test. Going in to the trial I decided I’d be happy with just one improvement, so let’s see how Reversaderm performed for me.

The packaging of the 5 step system is white with silver rims, black and blue writing and clear plastic lids. The overall presentation of the product line is clean, crisp, sleek and simple.

The system consists of a cleanse, serum and moisturise that you use day and night for two weeks. A peel is done every second night and mask once a week. You do this for two weeks, then revert to your usual skincare routine for the following two weeks. Once done, repeat, and so on.

My usual routine consists of cleanse, tone, serum and moisturise. Reversaderm was a little different, potentially a stronger formulation with a more concentrated impact and used in a shorter time frame. Needless to say, I was a little nervous having read the warnings regarding tingling, burning etc. However, I have to say I was most pleasantly surprised.

The cleanser (Glycolic Clarifying Cleanser) has a pump dispenser, is a white cream consistency, very smooth, has a scent of what seems like vitamin C with a floral undertone (to me at least) and is easy to blend into the skin. It’s applied to damp skin and massaged in for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Once rinsed my skin felt soft and surprisingly exfoliated for a cream product with no apparent abrasives. Smooth, clean and ready for the next step.

With an eye drop applicator the serum (Tri-Collagen Accelerating Serum) is also easy to dispense. I was surprised to find that the serum was a cream type consistency. Most serums I’ve used have had more of a thick water or oil feel about them. In applying I had to work fast as I found the serum dried quickly not giving me a lot of time to spread and blend into my skin. But the effort was worth it. The cream disappeared leaving a soft film of nourishment over my skin.

Tips: Review Continued: Moisturising is my favourite part of any routine, predominantly because I have dry skin. It’s that moment when you’ve completed the first couple of steps in your regime, you’re squeaky clean and can just start to feel those first signs of “cracking”. This moisturiser is lovely! It’s thin yet effective, a little goes a long way and it has a delicate scent (not overpowering). I usually use a cream but this is more of a liquid. My skin instantly soaks it up leaving yet again a smooth surface with no greasy residue. The dispenser is different to anything I’ve used before and reminds me of the nail polish remover dispenser that nail technicians use. You push down on the top to dispense product. My only complaint with this type of packaging is that I feel it gives more than you need and is hard to control.

The word “peel” gives an instant image of a women with a bright red shiny face, having just been to the salon and had several layers of skin removed. Thankfully the Reversaderm Peel (Micro-Cellular Age Correcting Peel) is a lot gentler than that and does not mimic that very scary image. This was the product that I was most cautious about, based on the preconception of what a peel is. The formulation of this product gives you a cloudy gel consistency with a “medicated” type scent, almost a hint of eucalyptus or something similar. You apply a thin layer to the skin for 20-30 minutes. Once applied the peel dries but leaves a shine to your skin. Personally I experienced a small amount of tingling on the first application but nothing further when using the product. My skin was left rejuvenated, had a brightness about it and was silky smooth.

The last step for the week is the mask (Enzymatic Detoxifying Mask). A purple cream which is applied all over the face and left for 15-20 minutes. A similar scent to the peel with a hint of “sunburn cream or coppertone” (weird I know but that’s what it reminds me of). The cream dries but is not uncomfortable. Once removed I noticed immediate change in the small bumps on my cheeks, they seemed smaller and softer. My skin felt amazing, fresh, revitalised and tighter.

After having 4 weeks of using the products I definitely have results. My skin is smoother. I noticed after 2 weeks of my usual regime some dullness had returned slightly. There is a brightness to my skin that is giving a younger radiance. The texture has changed in terms of the small bumps that were hanging on for dear life around my lower cheek area. In terms of my “experience lines” I feel there is a slight change in the ones around my eyes. They appear not as deep as they were. Of course it took 40 years to get them so it’s expected it would take longer than 4 weeks to fill them in.

I’m impressed with the products and will continue to use them. Thankyou Beauty Review for giving me the opportunity to try something different.

Amazing results

I'm a beauty therapist, so I went into this thinking...no, never.

I was wrong! I was really impressed with the ingredients and potency of the actives - very comparable with salon products.

My skin feels baby soft. I have trouble with skin breakouts at times of stress and this really helped tackle annoying blemishes and pimples. The cleanser did sting a little and still does occasionally especially if i have a breakout happening . I just diluted the cleanser with water to stop further stinging. I was pleasently surprised the cleanser removed all of my make up which was great! I was a massive fan of the serum it has quite a thick texture and my skin loved this. Defitinitley a must have product for thise who suffer from a dry skin type.

The mask i used a minimum of twice per week and boy oh boy did this sink into my skin. My skin ate it all up within minutes of application it was a great product to use straight after the peel has been used to calm the skin down.

The peel has to be the super star product of the bunch. This was just amazing . I used this every other evening and it really did help improve my skin texture it did sting and tingle on areas of congestion but was great as i could feel it doing something. The next day you could see it had brought black heads to the surface and made existing blackheads on my nose shrink. Really great product and fast results!

The moisturiser i loved as it was so easy to use with its cute little pot and pushing down on the lid to dispense the product. The creams very rich and wouldnt be for everyone but my skin really did reap all the benefits. After use my skin felt plump supple and hydrated.

5 kiss lips for reversaderm!

Tips: Really do read the information and application instructions of each product. Especially the peel. If its too much just reduce the amount of time it sits on the skin. Use a gentle face cloth to remove and avoid the eye area.

Don't be afraid to tailor the system to your skin's needs - I used the mask more than specified and it worked beautifully.

You had me at Dr Lewinns!

I absolutely could not believe that I was one of the lucky reviewers for this product range! I think I even let out a squeal! step 1 – The Cleanser. I dampened my skin with warm water prior to applying. It’s a really light, creamy product so don’t expect it to foam. To be honest, it felt so light that I didn’t think much of it but I felt results from the very first application, my skin felt smoother.

step 2 – The Peel. This is to be used every second day. I ended up doing a schedule on my phone because I quickly forgot what day I was on. This product contains such delicious active ingredients that you feel the results immediately. I have used salon and at-home peels before and have experienced very strong tingling to very light. I would describe this as a short tingle which soon dissipated and was very comfortable to have on. I let the gel preparation sit on my skin for 25 minutes. step 3 – The Serum. This is probably my favourite step… it feels gorgeous and silky on such fresh skin. The serum looks a pearly cream colour and is quite light to the touch. I love the wee fat bottle, so cute! This absorbs quite rapidly into my dehydrated skin but it leaves it feeling soft and loved.

step 4 – The Regenerative Cream. This moisturizer comes in a very handy pump container so it’s much cleaner and cost effective as you only pump as much as you need. I tend to do not quite a full pump in the morning and then a full one at night. It absorbs nicely into the skin but sometimes after the peel, I still feel would not quite hydrated enough.

step 5 – The Mask. This is such a nice, light purplish mask that feels refreshing and hydrating. I really looked forward to my ‘mask’ nights as it was a good time to sit back and relax. I would also do my teeth whitening as well… bonus! My skin was left feeling hydrated, smoother and clear. It has a cooling effect on the skin and is the only mask that didn’t redden my skin after removal, it actually had the opposite effect! This is to be used once a week. My skin is dry and sensitive, pigmented and dull. I thoroughly loved using the Reversaderm program and recommend it to anyone looking for a quality at-home range. I have been quite neglectful of my skincare lately so I really enjoyed the extra love and commitment I was giving my skin, however in saying that, it was not arduous or lengthy and totally doable in our fast paced lives. If you are a bit forgetful like me then I highly recommend writing up a wee schedule for peel days. My skin is so much more hydrated than before, it has a fresher tone to it. Make up is much easier to apply and I was grateful that I had no break outs during this period. There was no irritation and is a perfect product for reviving your skin before an important event, such as a wedding or in my case, an overseas trip!

Tips: Tip: Don’t apply cleanser higher than your eye socket because it will sting if it gets in your eyes. Tip: Let your skin dry after cleansing, prior to applying the Peel. Do not apply on any open skin, like a pimple, ouchies. Tingling is normal, burning is not!! Tip: Don’t miss the serum step, your skin will love you for it. It has a handy dropper but I noticed that no product was coming out when I first used it and a little harden bit of serum had blocked it. A quick rinse resolved the issue Tip: Definitely wear sunblock as the range contains no SPF factor and you don’t want to undo all that good work

Reversaderm Review

Step 1: Clarify Glycolic Clarifying Cleanser This product was used every day, twice a day. Morning and night minus the off weeks. The cleanser is white in colour, floral scented and lightweight. The cleasner isn't thick or runny, a really thin consistencey. I used 2 pumps worth of product to wash my face with, massaging it into my face for 2 minutes but leaving it on my face for a good 6-7 minutes before rinsing it off and towel drying my face. I was super surprised that the cleanser didnt lather, so no bubbles. For the first two weeks I noticed a slight tingle senastion to the skin on my face but on week 5 and 6 I didn't get that sensation at all. My skin was left feeling incredibly clean and soft after use.

Step 2: Resurface Micro-Cellular Age correcting Peel This product was used every 2nd night minus the off weeks. The peel cream is a clear liquid, a little runny. The scent to me is similar to the cleanser but with more of a 'cleanser' smell to it. I used 3 pumps worth of product which was enough to cover my face, just a light film across my face. I generally left it on for 30 minutes, rinsing it off with luke warm water. Let's talk about that stinging sensation lol. It was definetly strong but only for a minute - maybe less before it subsided. I did notice if i had worn makeup that day the sting was a little more intense than when not wearing makeup.

Step 3: Revive Tri-Collagen Accelerating Serum This product was used every day twice a day minus the off weeks. The peel is a beautiful pearlescent white colour, much the same consistency as the cleanser and smells the same as well. I used 2 droplet pumps of the serum for my face, I did find it took a bit to absorb into my skin, but after it was well massaged in my skin felt so soft! I noticed when I was out in the sun for the day using this on my skin, it did sting a little but it didnt happen often.

Step 4: Restore Antioxidant Regenerate Cream This product was used every day, twice a day minus the off weeks. The cream smells amazing! Just like roses and it's just like a body butter. One pump is enough product to use on your face. The packaging is very unique. Round with a clear lid, pop the lid off and push down on the pad for the product to come up through the hole in the pad. It left my skin feeling silky smooth and hydrated.

Tips: Step 5: Detoxifying Enzymatic Detoxifying Mask This product was used once a week. For me I used it every 6th day minus the off weeks. The product is a beautiful pastel lavender colour. For me it didn't really have a distinctive scent. The consistency is like the serum. Slight tingle sensation when applied to the skin but subsides quickly. I left this product on my face for 20 minutes before rinsing off with luke warm water, making sure to only towel pat dry my face. I noticed my skin was brighter after using the mask and my pores have been noticeably smaller.

One important thing aboout these products was applying sunscreen after use of them. I now religously have gotten into a habit of putting sunscreen on my face several times throughout the day. Overall, this product is incredible and I feel so lucky to have been picked to be apart of the trial team. My acne has reduced along with existing scars. My pores are a lot smlaller, my skin is a lot softer, dark spots are lighter, small creases around the eyes are gone. I feel I have new, younger feeling and looking skin. 2 down sides....The price! It is wayyyy out of my price range for when it comes to skin care sadly. And on the off weeks, mainly the first week (so week 3) I noticed my skin was dry, flakey and patchy. My pores looked huge and opened but by week 4 it had come right. Thank you Beauty review for this experience. Dr Lewinns - this is incredible!

These products sounds great, but expensive. As someone who dont go to beauty parlors etc I find this really pricey.

My dehydrated skin is as smooth as a baby now

Following the 2on/2off cycle for 6 weeks I had great results. It says to take 2 weeks off due to 'efficacy of ingredients' but I'm sure it's so you can be reminded how terrible your regular products are compared to these! My skin is norm/dehydrated. Cleanser - It has quite a strong, fresh, citrusy scent. It's creamy white, is non foaming & can be left on for a few mins for extra exfoliating. I used 1 & a bit pumps each time. The 100ml easy to use pump bottle will last a good while - it's at a fair price point. It deeply cleaned without drying, although it did seem to make my hands peel from massaging it in. Serum -I don't like dropper style bottles & mine arrived blocked. I used a pin & unblock where some product had gone gluggy in it. With minimal scent & a white opaque colour, it absorbs quickly & easily into skin without being oily. Benefits of brightened skin, improved radiance and skin tone were definitely met. A key ingredient in this, the cream & mask, is French Saffron to improve radiance & skin tone. Down side is the amount you need to use this product seems very expensive & for this price I'd like better packaging & more product. Cream - is very light. It has a scent similar to the cleanser but not as strong. I love the style of dispenser - you press the top down & a bit of moisturiser pops out. No mess no fuss. This one seems a bit springy, if you press too fast too much product comes out & it flicks everywhere. If a product is cheap I'm not too fussy but if it's expensive I expect even the packaging to be quality. One pump is enough for face & neck. It absorbs very quickly & skin is left soft, tight & bright with no oiliness. After using just the cleanser, serum & moisturiser my skin looked beautiful, I noticed a difference straight away it seemed clear & soft. Peel- I used 4 pumps of the generous sized peel every 2nd day. Its like a clear serum that spread easily over my face. After 30 minutes it has dried but still feels sticky on skin. Easily washed off with water. At first I noticed no burning, tingling or redness. At the start of the 4th week of product use (6th week real time) it tingled for a few of mins but it went away - I wasn't worried about this feeling as it is similar to having a professional peel & makes the product seem closer to salon quality. Mask - used once a week in replacement of the Peel. It's a light, creamy formula with a slight mauve tint to it but appears almost clear when applied and a light scent. First couple of mins the mask started to warm, calming down at 8 mins. It was by no means bad at all - I just feel I should mention it. These left my skin looking younger in every way - plump, pores reduced, smooth, even toned & glowing. I experienced no extra breakouts from the products. My dry 'yoga patch' on my chin is gone. Makeup is a dream to apply. I use much less foundation & get a very soft & smooth result. After just two weeks fine lines were less noticeable - collagen synthesis in action

Tips: I found it helpful to write down the peel and mask days so as not to get confused.

Also before cleaning my face, I removed my makeup with micellar water and eye makeup remover so as not to waste cleanser.

I use an spf everyday normally but it's a big must when using these products as it is with professional peel treatments. I don't think it helped that it's been summer holidays so I have been outside a lot more (with spf) & my pigmentation darkens over summer no matter how hard I try - I'm definitely going to do this hard core over winter! Big thanks to Beauty Review for this trial - amazing products to try and can't wait to see my skin in a few more months.

It's not gone but it's a lot less noticeable, I don't specifically cover it with concealer anymore on a night out, for everyday I wear a really thin bb cream and you can't tell there is any pigmentation.

New Year, New Skin

Ok. Let's start by saying - it really works. I didn't think it would, but before sitting down to write this review I studied my 'before' pics and my face in the mirror. The difference is startling.

The system as a whole is beautifully packaged - clean, sleek, minimal. The fancy cream dispenser is out of this world - no more grubby fingers in your day cream. The serum dropper bottle I find less practical, but it does give it that air of the salon. Personally I'd have just popped everything in pumps, but that's just me!

Every day for two weeks you use: Glycolic Clarifying Cleanser, Tri Collagen Accelerating Serum and Antioxidant Regenerative Cream. These three products were incredible every day products - I've never experienced daily skin care as delightful and effective. I don't want to stop using the Glycolic Clarifying Cleanser - one teeny pump was enough for my whole face, and my face felt incredibly clean and smooth after use. It smells fruity, it tastes salty and it really blows any other cleanser out of the water. Going back to my perfectly fine-before-I-tried-this cleanser is like a punishment.

The Serum is more like a lotion in consistency, it's instantly rejuvenating and leave you feeling like you've had a salon facial - you glow! It absorbs quickly.

The cream is an hydrating fix. Just like the serum it absorbs quickly, and one 'press down' is enough for your face. Winning.

Now on to the exciting stuff. The Micro Cellular Age Correcting Peel is simply one of the best skincare products I've ever used. It's kind of like a runny clear syrup - massage it all over your face, leave for 20-30 minutes and wash off. It's quite an unassuming for all of the power that it holds. I felt a light tingling during the first use, this is intermittent with future uses. The results can be felt and seen as soon as you rinse it off. More even skin tone. More even skin texture. Less imperfections.

And on to my favourite product of the set - the Enzymatic Detoxifying Mask. OH MY WORD. It's cooling, it's refreshing, it clears the skin, it soothes, it softens. It's just a gorgeous product. At the beginning of the treatment my skin just ate the mask up, but as my skin has improved over the last 6 weeks, the mask seems to sit on my skin for longer.

The results are incredible. I look better. I look younger. My skin is smoother, more even, less aged. This system really does reveal fresh new skin - something I've only experienced before in the salon.

I can't even mark this down for the price - is it expensive? Yeah. But it's much cheaper than a set of salon treatments. You can also control where the product goes, so there's minimal 'wastage' - for example, my massive forehead is probably the best bit of skin on my head, so I focus the mask/peel on the rest of my face and just do a light speckling there.

Tips: Don't use the products, especially the peel, on your lips.

Sunscreen. Use it, your skin, although not tender, it definitely feels more delicate.

Clear fresh skin!

I was beyond ecstatic when I was invited to trial this. My once normal skin was a nightmare of hormonal acne mixed with dry patches and oily cheeks, it was in the worst condition it had ever been and to be selected for this trial gave me hope that my skin could be what it once was (if not better).

-Glycolic clarifying cleanser. This was used twice a day, morning and night. The pump bottle dispenses a small amount of cleanser which is great for not wasting any product. I wash my face and apply 4 pumps of this to my face and neck massaging it in counting to 30 before leaving it on for 2 minutes. Washing this off feels refreshing.

- Tri collagen accelerating serum. I use this after I cleanse my face, unless its the day to use the peel then this will go after the face peel. I use the tip of the glass to apply dots to my face, then using circular motions to help it work its way into my skin. Each time I use this I get satisfaction at watching the serum absorb into my fine lines, my skin absorbs this almost instantly and brightens my under eyes.

- Antioxidant regenerative cream. The cream is always the last step of the routine. The container it comes in brings out my inner Dr pimple popper, you push down the sides and the cream comes out the middle. It resembles melted butter and it literally melts into my face, 2 pumps is enough for my face and neck. My skin looks visibly hydrated and feels so smooth.

- Micro-cellular age correcting peel. This I found the most frightening only because I've heard experiences on what peels can do but I was scaring myself for no reason! The peel is used on Day 2, 4, 8, 10, 12 and then you repeat once you've done your 2 week break. You apply this once you've cleansed your skin and apply a small amount with your fingertips. The thin clear liquid can be hard to see and for the first few times I used a little too much. 2 pumps is enough for my face and neck. It has an instant cooling effect as soon as it touches my skin. The first time I applied this I started to panic as my skin felt like it was burning but after 10 minutes the sensation just simmered down. I leave this on for 30 minutes before washing this off.On the days I do the peel I try to avoid the sun.

- Enzymatic detoxifying mask. This is used once a week and its a real treat! It smells amazing and it resembles pastel purple toner. After every 6th day you cleanse your skin and then apply this. You apply a layer to your face and neck and wait up to 20 minutes for it to soak in. It leaves my skin looking plump and full of life.

Overall- My skin has been restored, the overall skin is gleaming and refreshed, the fine lines around my mouth where I used to smoke have reduced a lot, the small pores I had on the tops of my cheeks have disappeared and most of my hormonal acne has gone. Some scaring has lightened and my skin is nearly back to normal to combination skin. I am super happy with the outcome of my skin.

Tips: Sunscreen is very important when using these, and beware of getting the cream or serum by your eyes, it stings so bad!
