Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil review

I was super excited when I received a heap of samples as I was using Bio Oil which was terrible. I have mainly been using this for my stretch marks around my hips which were caused from gaining weight. I have found that this oil doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy and it soaks into your skin. My stretch marks have completely disappeared and have been using this for around about four weeks. I have been using twice a day. I have already purchased a full size and will keep on purchasing it.

I have been using oils on my face for about six months now and this was the second brand I tried.

I use about 4 drops on my face and neck morning and night after cleansing and I've noticed a huge difference in how much more moisturised my skin has been feeling. I've previously been quite prone to dry patches and they have been much less prevalent in the time I have been using this. My initial trepidation, like many others have mentioned, was that an oil would make my face too greasy but I have been really happy with how much more balanced the condition of my skin has been.

I have not noticed any reduction in redness and scarring that the product claims to manage, but even so I am extremely pleased with the improvements that this has made.

The smell of the oil is not all that pleasant but I have found that it does not linger and it's not even noticeable since I always follow it up with my daily moisturiser or night cream which are both more strongly fragranced.

It absorbs well and I have not noticed any difficulty with applying makeup afterwards. I thought that it may make my foundation more prone to slipping off but this has not been an issue.

I have since repurchased another bottle and will happily keep using it.

To begin with I was a little worried about putting this on my semi oily/acne prone skin. But I am so surprised. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and moisturised. I had a couple of burns from the fire, so popped some if this on them and the scaring has really been reduced.

I'm still unsure of this product. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I don't know what I'm supposed to be noticing.

I thought rosehip oil would smell, well, like roses. I don't know if it was just ingrained in my brain that it was supposed to smell like that or what, but the smell is only slightly unpleasant. It's easy to get used to though, so now I don't notice it as much.

One thing I have noticed, is that my skin isn't as oily as it used to be, and in places its not as dry. It absorbs somewhat quickly but I feel like it does make my skin look oily. I can't say I've noticed the oil 'repairing' my scarring or anything, and for the first week or so that I started using this I got several hard, angry pimples and I still have the scars from them. They were so angry that I didn't attempt to pop them, though the urge was there.

It feels lovely when you rub it on, but I don't think 2-3 drops is enough, personally. I have been using 3-5 drops and I feel like it gives better coverage of all of my face and neck. It's great because a lot of the time I don't like using the moisturizer I have, so this is a really great alternative.

Edit: This stuff is amazing at removing eyeliner and mascara!! I put a few drops on the tip of a cotton tip for eyeliner, and for mascara I put a few drops on my eyelid and use a tissue. It's awesome!

This product feels wonderful on your face. It sinks in and your skin feels smooth afterwards. A difference is noticeable within a couple of days use. An easy product to use and because it's a multi-tasker its good value. I like the idea of using natural new zealand made products.

I wasn't convinced putting oil on my oily skin was a good idea, but my skin was looking horrible covered in bumps and pimples from other products that hadn't agreed with me so I figured I didn't have much to lose.

I never would have expected an oil to stop my skin being oil, but it really has! My t zone for once in my life feels soft and smooth, not greasy and oily, all thanks to this stuff! I have been using this about 6 weeks now, and even when I've forgotten to use it for a few days, my skin still stays nice and soft and it hasn't been getting oily at all. All the spots and bumps I had, have all majorly reduced and my skin is finally looking and feeling more like a mid-20 year old should - and no longer like a hormonal teenager! I generally try an apply it at least once a day, I probably use a couple more drops than I'm meant to but I really love the feeling of it on my skin! It doesn't really feel oily when you put it on your skin, it starts to absorb quite quickly while you massage it in and instantly your skin feels amazing!

I haven't noticed a massive change in redness or fine lines but maybe I need to keep using it for longer to see a more noticeable difference on those things. Even if it doesn't help with those things, I'm already completely sold on the fact it's made my skin much much less oily.

I will definitely keep using this product, and I highly recommend it, especially if you suffer from oil skin!

I’ve put off reviewing this product for as long as I could, because I wanted to use this for a long time, to get the maximum effect on it.

I have been using it for a month now, and keeping my eye out on things other members say it’s supposed to do. My biggest concern with my face is acne scarring and redness, as well as a few occasional break outs.

After washing, and toning, I apply 3-4 drops of this on my face. I do have oily skin, so I am always hesitant about applying more oil to my face but this did not let me down. It is super absorbent, and not greasy at all. It’s very light weight and while I do feel that I have put oil on my face, I’m not annoyed by it because it’s not sleek slime oil. You can’t even tell you have oil on!

It makes my face baby soft and I always find myself wanting to touch it!

I notice that when I am rubbing it into my skin, which I do in a massage form going in circular motions, all the dead skin, or tiny little bumps and pimples under my skins surface comes of as I put this oil on! I love this, because I’m hardly even trying and they are going away!! Love Love Love.

As for helping with scarring, or hyper-pigmentation, I can’t say that I have noticed a difference, and it feels like nothing has faded. But I can say that I am breaking out less, and less, and when I do, it is completely gone in 2-3 days, whereas normally it would take me a good 7-10 days for it to completely disappear.

In saying that it hasn’t really helped with scarring, I can’t seem to stop using this product. It actually annoys me knowing that it’s not on my face lol, but it has significantly made my face better. I’m hoping that by continued use, it will help get rid of scars and hyper-pigmentation.

I have quite bad eczema on my face and this is such a great moisturiser for it, doesn't hurt or irritate dry, broken skin and absorbs really easily.

This is definitely a must have. I was lucky enough to receive samples of this and I haven't looked back. It makes my skin feel baby soft, it's so lovely on the skin. It doesn't block pores, or look oily on the skin. It absorbs into the skin rather quickly so even if you don't massage it into your skin completely, it will soak up the goodness really quickly.

My daughter suffers from severe eczema, and it's often a struggle to put her prescribed creams on, and because it has to be done 3 times daily with three different creams, sometimes it's just so hard and I have to admit defeat then try again later on. Then I discovered this rosehip oil. And because it has a cute little applicator, my girl thinks it's the coolest thing ever and she actually lets me put it on her, sometimes she'll even want to do it herself, and then put it on me as well. She has a lot of fun dotting it all over her skin and she has just as much fun rubbing it in.

And the best thing is, is that it actually soothes her eczema, so her skin isn't getting as irritated in the heat as it usually does, which means it's not flaring up as much. I absolutely love it. I even do one last coat (mainly on her face) at night time, and massage it into her skin and in the morning her skin just looks refreshed. It's amazing.

I really liked this product, after using the samples of this im definitely going to buy some! I usually suffer from breakouts and the annoying marks left behind.. but this really helped. Ive had less breakouts and any residual marks on my skin are prettymuch gone :-) I use it morning and night a drop or two mixed with my moisturiser.
