Amazing!

I have this blush in the shade 'unleashed'. It comes in the After Dark palette but its the same formula and its full sized so I hope this counts!

Its a beautiful colour I would describe as a muted dusky pink/rose that I could imagine suiting all skin colours except maybe very dark. It is matte, which is nice as you can keep it that way or add shimmer in the form of a highlight.

I'm not too sure about the claims that it 'hydrates the skin' to 'restore moisture' - to me that sounds a little far-fetched for a powder blush however it does produce an amazing colour on the cheeks that lasts all day (does tend to fade a little) and isn't patchy.

It isn't super pigmented but I love that, as it means you can build up for a natural colour without accidentally applying too much in one go.

Would definitely recommend these blushes to anyone looking for a great staple blush with good everyday colours to suit everyone. I'm definitely looking at picking more up in the near future!

Tips: If your blush isn't applying well look also at the brush you're using - tools are important!

Also if the blush isn't staying as long as you want, it can be to do with the foundation underneath. Make sure you use a good primer, foundation and setting spray :)

Its a great product but at the same time if its not in your budget there are plenty of other really good options - for a blush it is pretty pricey! I've found it lasts me through an 8 hr day given a good base (i.e double wear). I don't think I've tri

How long do you find it lasts on you during the day? Sounds like an awesome product I'm super tempted.

Shade: Tipsy = Disappointing

I bought this shade because it's classified as a 'coral' colour on Tarte's website and the swatches online seemed quite promising.

I'm disappointed because I found that it's more pink than coral. I would have expected atleast a hint of orange but it's just pink on my skin (MAC NC42-44).

I've been using it over a couple of months and it's a tad annoying having to use a lot of product just to get a decent colour pay off. My first swipe of colour across the cheeks is almost non-existent but by swipe number 4 I'm good to go. It doesn't last long on me, probably 4-5 hours with primer and setting spray (note: I have oily skin).

The packaging looks great online but it's just a colourful piece of cheap plastic but a nice change from the black compacts. I will not be repurchasing this item and would probably only recommend the shade Tipsy for those lighter than MAC NC42-44 who don't mind a flush of pink and paying US$26 (approximately NZ$34 at time of purchase using Shipito).

Super long wearing blush!

I have a tarte blush in Dollface, it's this amazing baby pink shade that I love to wear in the summer. It's matte and really pigmented. The packaging on these blushes is the best I've ever seen. It's super cute and the colour of each blush is the colour of its packaging, so if you have heaps of them you always know what you're reaching for, I like to apply mine with a duo fiber brush so I don't get too much pigment. There are so many shades in this line, with some of them being bright, and others neutral and great for everyday wear. I'm not too sure about the 12 hour wear claim, but i have noticed that it lasts a lot longer than all my other blushes. They're super expensive which sucks because I'd really like to try more colours.

Pigmentation Forever <3

I love these blushes! Tarte always has great products but this one blew the rest out of the park. There are so many color options and they work like a charm. Each and every one of them! I use mine everyday and I can either dress it up OR dress it down. Looks great either way! I can't wait to try out some more colors.

Amour

I recently picked this up from a friend from on BR. I picked up the shade amour which is a beautiful brighter pink with sparkle in it. This is in a smaller size of 1.5g compared to the usual 6g size and was originally part of the Chic to Cheek Amazonian Clay Blush set.

From what I have read online the packaging of this is very similar to the full size it is just missing the mirror in the lid. I'm not actually a fan of the mirrors in palettes anyway as I never use them. The packaging is in the same shade as the blush itself which is great. Although the whole packaging is plastic it doesn't feel cheap. But I also like that there isn't any excess packaging, the packaging is just enough for the blush. Means it is great for travelling.

The product is incredibly pigmented! The first time I used this I added far too much product. So make sure that you are light handed with this! It leaves a lovely finish on the skin. Very impressed. The wear time on this is pretty good, it is faded by the end of my work day but not completely gone. I don't think this lives up to its 12hr claim though. If I was the type of person to reapply makeup the packaging of this is great to take with you.

I am seriously tempted to buy some more of these gorgeous blushes as there are some really lovely shades!

I got the Chic to Cheek set as a Christmas present and I love Armour! It's a colour that when I opened it, I was so dubious as to how it would look on my skin as I don't do "peach" but it actually looked amazing. LOVE the size of these!

Dazzled

One of my purchases when I bankrupted myself at Sephora inside South Coast Plaza. I only purchased this blush because of it's cult following and decided to see if this would be worth the money and it is.

There is a slight shimmer to this shade (Dazzled), which gives me a healthy glow. It's a smooth blush and isn't very powdery and goes on the skin quite nicely. Dazzled is ideal if you have cool undertones. It's a perfect rose-pink and very natural looking.

As an aside from the Dazzled shade, I was lucky enough to be given the Chic to Cheek Christmas 2014 gift set and the colours in that were two colours that I normally wouldn't wear, but I absolutely love and wear just as well as the permanent line blushes.

I'm not sure I could say that I get 12 hours of wear, I definitely get 8 hours. If I can't decide on a blush, this is my go to!

Limited Edition - Celebrated

This is my first tarte blusher and I have found it to be one of my top favourite blush that I own.

The packaging of this blusher is so cute in its clay orange toned casing with the limited edition gold confetti type print on the lid. Inside there is a mirror recessed inside the lid. There is also a printed image that tarte places on all their blushes, that even after half a dozen uses hasn't faded away due to it being deep set into the powder, but also that with this powder blush you only need to lightly pick up a small amount on your brush to get enough to cover your cheeks.

Amazonian clay blush texture feels slightly chalky when you run your finger over the blush inside the compact but once on a brush is acts like a cream/powder blush for having a smooth, soft even application and blends really well to avoid any harsh lines. The pigmentation of this dusky peach/rose blend of the limited edition blush is rather intense so a little goes a long way but if you want more impact it is very easily buildable to achieve a more wow factor. It has a long lasting formula too that sees it sit still on my face for at least 10-12 hours before I remove at the end of the day.

This has me slightly hooked to try more of the tarte blushes

One of my favourite blushers :)

This was my first ever Tarte purchase and over a year later is still one of my favourite blushes. The packaging is sturdy, in a shade which matches the blush within and has a handy mirror inside the lid. It also has a gorgeous embossed pattern on the actual blush which has lasted well with regular use.

I own the shade 'Blushing Bride' which is a gorgeous natural rosey pink with a small amount of fine shimmer. I find this has a good level of pigmentation, not lacking in the colour department but not that intense that it's difficult to work with. I find this blends out on the skin easily and looks very natural, not powdery at all. It has a good lasting power, still looking great at the end of the day.

I would 100% these Tarte blushes! In my experience Tartes products are fantastic quality, perform fantastically and always come in adorable packaging...what more could you want :)

Blushing Beauty

Well, who hasn't heard of these amazing blushes? Well.. me! When i first got into beauty about a year ago, these blushes weren't even on my radar, i had never heard about them. But the more i started reading blogs, and watching vlogs.. it seemed like this blush was all the rage! So... as a beauty addict, i had to try this blush, just to see if it as good as everyone says.

Firstly, i love the packaging of these blushes. They are really simple. I have the colour blushing Bride, and it comes in a plastic pink compact, which has 'Tarte' in embossed gold print on the lid. This flip open to reveal a mirror, and the pan of the product. The reason why i love this packaging is because the compact has a small hole at the bottom, where you can use a pin to pop the pan out of the packaging, and then stick it in something like a z-pallete, so easy to take this blush with you everywhere.

This blush pan is so pretty. Its a beautiful mauve pinky-purple, and is imprinted with a beautiful design which really is iconic to Tarte, and a similar design to what a lot of their packaging is decorated with. It sort of looks like an imprint of leaves or something.

This blush is pretty (like i have said a million times already). It silky smooth, but slightly chalky. I know that sounds bad, but the blush is also pigmented like you wouldn't believe. In saying that, it is quite a hard blush and i really have to swirl my brush around into this pan to pick up product (I use a natural brush, Mac 129), which could be part of the issue.

However, once the blush is on your face, It blends like a dream, and it seriously lasts all day! I do like this blush, but I just don't love it, and I am not 100% that its worth the price tag.

HG status

These are so pigmented, so long lasting and so good! I have way too many shades including heaps of the limited edition holiday blushes. I especially love the matte colours. They look so "soft" on the cheeks despite being so pigmented. They also seem to mattify my cheeks which works well for my combination skin. I just adore these.

Tips: The shade "exposed" is a fantastic starter shade. Would work for a variety of skintones and works well with many different looks.
