I have to admit - I was pulled in by the 24 Karat Gold Gel text on the box. This sounded like a fun mask that would offer the results I look for - soothing, hydrating and a glow.
The mask itself is a gel and is quite gluggy. The mask comes with a plastic spatula, but I found it didn't spread the mask all that well and I ended up using my fingers.
I left the mask on for ten minutes as suggested and once removed my skin did look lovely. Glowy, hydrated and my red areas did look calmer.
The next morning (I used the mask at night) my skin didn't look all that great (whereas other mask I use the benefits can be seen the next morning).
I will use this mask up, but I'll make a point of using it before putting on makeup for a night out rather than as a general skin pick me up. I don't know that I'd buy it again though as other masks edge it out in terms of long term benefits.
Won this in an insta giveaway. I have a couple other masks from their range so was interested so see how this one compares. It's a cute pottle and comes with a silicone applicator. I prefer to apply this with a mask brush so I don't use the supplied applicator. While a nice idea, I think it would be better to not have it come with the mask as it doesn't get used and is a waste.
Gorgeous glittery gold putty like consistency. It looks so pretty on my face after application. Results: my skin does appear to be glowly after use.
I'm not overwhelmed with this mask. I actually prefer their clay one over this one. I intend to finish this up. However, I will not be purchasing when it's done.
