Beautiful jar but irritated my skin

The cream comes in a frosty glass jar which is very pretty. The texture is a very light jellish cream, easy to be absorbed. The smell like daffodil flowers. After first week of use, my skin became very smooth and soft although my skin texture is very delicate. After four weeks of use my skin becomes very dry and more sensitive to sunlight and heat. I am in early 40's have combination skin type looking for a night cream to diminish fine lines around my eyes and even out my skin tone. It did make my skin look a bit brighter after 4 weeks of use. But each time when I applied the night cream on my face I felt a little tingling sensation. I knew it's probably because the retinol reaction, so I started to cut down to two or three times a week. However my skin still looked red, flaky and even enlarged pores. I have to put this cream aside for a while.

I hope skin physics should caution consumers on its products' side effects.

Tips: You'd better start with a pea size amount once a week.
