St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub Review

I used it for a couple years, thinking it was doing well for my skin. Boy, was I wrong! I have used three different types of this exfoliator and have not seen any positive results, it only dried my skin out. It makes your face feel incredibly smooth when you first leave the shower, but then again, your hands feel incredibly smooth when you rub them on the pavement... It's much too harsh for anyone's face.

As the exfoliant which is the apricot seeds, they not perfect spheres, this is very harsh and it can damage the skin more than it exfoliates, it stratches into the skin instead of buffing.

I found its no good for sensitive skin and left me feeling dry, tight and irritated

I find the apricot smell gets quite sickly after awhile too, overall just not a product I liked,

I used this product alot when I was younger but always left me with a very red and slightly sore face. Feels like rubbing sand paper across the face. It does make your face feel soft but took a day each time I used it for my face to recover. I went to see a dermatologist and she said not to use a harsh scrub as it leaves scratches on your skin so I have started using other brands instead. It does have a nice smell and is a very thick consistency with really large particles in it.

For those who have sensitive skin which is rather delicate, i would avoid this product due to the nature of the exfoliating scrubers being natural. Natural is great however if you closely inspect, you'll notice that they're all different sizes and cut so rough edges can irritate skin.

I dislike this product. Sure, it feels good on the skin like you're scrubbing deep right into your pores, but the aftermath makes my skin break out and irritated afterwards. My skin has never been this sensitive to any products before I tried this. Not recommended for sensitive skin.

Overall the packaging and price of this product is very appealing, which is why I picked it up! The first time I use it, it did the job great, and also felt good on my skin! However after using a few more times it made my skin feel very dry and also irritated! I have pretty sensitive skin, so if you are after a product which is sensitive skin safe, I would probably stay away from this one, or only use it every now and again! Its just a few bit harsh for my liking! The smell and scent is actually rather nice though!

I have tryed this product twice.. And twice i have given the product to a friend after a few uses...

I find this product to give your face a good exfoliating scrub which makes you feel super clean but also its a bit harsh on the face! Also i found that it breaks my skin out (My skin never breaks out).

Its a product i will not purchase again although it made my skin feel clean, it was too harsh for my skin!

I purchased this for myself some years ago now, probably back in intermediate.

I have sensitive skin and this product didn't work wonders for me.

Upon my second use of this facial scrub my skin was tight, even after moisturising straight afterward.

After three uses I found that the skin around the sides of my nose was flaking and peeling off (painfully so) and I decided to discontinue use.

The scent of this product was pleasant and invigorating, the performance though; not as much.

I would not recommend this product to any person with sensitive skin, and to anybody who does purchase this; please moisturise afterward :) As I do find this product very very drying

this product didnt do much for my skin it ws so rough on my skin and would leave small red marks alover my skin was still quite oily and dry so i stopped using it, wont buy again
