I know some of my friends love this product as they find it makes there face feel clean & smooth, & I'd have to agree with that it definitely does, however I find it a bit too harsh & when using it I really do feel like its scrubbing my skin away not a great feeling, so personally wouldn't use this again

This just did not work for me, I had heard lots of great things about this but it wasn't right for my skin. I have dry, sensitive skin and this scratched and dried out my skin but I would recommend it for other skin types. It does smell really good though and has a good texture for an exfoliator.
I like the smell of this, and that is is great value for money. I don't think it is very good to use frequently on your face though. Ive heard the little apricot bits can really damage the skin on your face. You have to be very gentle when applying, and I would recommend only using it once or twice a week.
Tips: Great for exfoliating other areas of your body that can take more of a hammering than your facial skin. e.g back, butt, thighs
I used this scrub for a number of years on my oily skin that had the odd blemish. This product kept my pimples at bay and if I went a week without using it they appeared. It is a product that has an instant effect on the skin. After using it my skin is instantly smooth and freshened. After focusing more on my skincare routine I have decided that this scrub is too harsh for my skin as I now suffer from occasional acne that is easily irritated. I do love the feeling of a gritty scrub but I'm not sure that it is the best thing for my skin. I have since switched to the Clarins One Step Exfoliating Cleanser which is far more gentle. Overall this is the perfect product for those that love a gritty scrub however it wouldn't be suitable for sensitive skin.
Tips: Rub this product lightly without scrubbing.
I've only used this product once and it does exfoliates well to a point where my skin feels smooth after use. It strips dead/dry skin and leaves face well polised, however, i felt that it stipped too much from my skin and instead of leaving it feeling moisturised, it left my skin feeling extra dry. I feel like i have double- apply moisturiser to restore my skin. The one two positive aspects of this product is the greater amount of exfoliating rocks that makes you feel like your getting a good scrub and that it doesnt make my skin breakout!
Tips: Only use a small amount as it has a great amount of exfoliating rocks in the formula.
Every so often I use a scrub as an exfoliator in addition to my normal skincare routine. St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub is one of my favourites, mainly because of the apricot fragrance. Using the scrub makes my skin feel extra soft and smooth afterwards as it helps remove the old skin that naturally builds up and is not removed by other cleansing products.
I really wanted to like this lots! I found it a bit to harsh for my face. So instead used it on my body & feet. The beads are great on feet!! Great as a exfoliation but not on my face.
Packaging is really nice. Good pricing and easy to find at a supermarket.
Smells lovely in the morning shower. A shame it's to really aimed at sensitive dry skin :(
I love the St Ives range as it smells amazing and is really affordable.
This scrub is none the less, coming in the classic st Ives bottle containing heaps of product, I find it lasts too long and I get bored with it!
The scrub content is quite chunky making it quite a harsh scrub especially for your face however, that does mean it does the job well by removing the dead layer of skin and leaving your skin feeling super smooth.
I would not recommend this if you prefer a gentler scrub.
I have been using this on and off for years when I cant afford a better product. Its cheap, easily accessible and does exactly what it says it will do. However, you need to go easy with it and use a light hand. Do not rub hard, just gentle circular motions. It is quite a harsh scrub (the granules are quite big and many) so wouldn't advise using this too frequently!
It smells nice and you get a lot of product for the price. There are much better and gentler products on the market.
Tips: Be gentle with your skin! I have heard many skin therapists advise against this type of product as it is too harsh and leaves microscopic scratches on the face? Not sure whether this is fact or not?
This is a great exfoliator for your body or dry elbows, knees and heels. This should not be recommended for the face as the 'scub' is actually walnut shells which causes micro tears in the skin. whether you have sensitive skin or not this is damaging the skin on the face. On a plus side it does smell devine!!!
