Wow!

I had been using a slightly cheaper rosehip oil and was excited to try this product and see the difference a little extra money makes. Surely with an essential oil (ie one ingredient only) they're all much of a muchness right?

Well no. Immediately I was impressed with the smell. Where the other brand smelt like old chip bag, this trilogy oil smells neutral. While I still wouldn't describe it as pleasant it's not unpleasant and doesn't make me crave chips twice a day as I rub it into my bump.

The texture is much silkier and absorbs cleaner and more rapidly. Something that is important to stretched belly skin that constantly rubs against clothes.

It's hard to gauge effectiveness on developing stretchies and the only reason I haven't given this top marks is that I have developed my first ever stretch mark on my tummy during two pregnancies on it's watch. Whether or not it's fair to blame this on the oil I don't know but who would argue with a pregnant woman anyway?

I have however, noticed a huge improvement in my prematurely old lady hands after rubbing in the excess. I'm seriously impressed with the results I've gotten. My cuticles are markedly improved and the overall skin texture is much more ladylike vs 10yo boy.

This will be a bathroom essential for years to come I can tell already.

Tips: So so many uses for this wonderful product. A few I've tried: eye serum, lip serum, a few drops added to my moisturiser (gorgeous!), and a little along my hair line to combat dry scalp which is particularly bad there. All of which have worked an absolute treat.

Heals and protects

This is my daily and nightly go to, I put a large layer on before bed and then mix some with my primer before foundation. This has to be made of angels tears because my skin has never been so glowy and beautiful and they compliments have been flying in since using this.

Tips: Less is more

Great Rosehip Oil

I have been using Rosehip oil for a while now and have found it hugely beneficial on some recent surgery scars as well as on my face and skin generally. I really like the trilogy Rosehip oil and find it has the best scent (or actually lack thereof) as some of them can smell a bit oily (I know it's oil but still). Rosehip oil has helped to reduce the redness in my scars and generally on my face and it is now an essential part of my daily beauty routine. My skin loves this stuff and it shows.

Lifesaver

When I received a sample of this from Trilogy I didn't have high hopes, my dry sensitive excema-prone skin always reacted to things and oils generally made me breakout in pimples. BUT I tried it and I am soooo glad I did. I have not had ONE pimple pop up since I started using this a couple of weeks ago. My skin is so much softer and the little red scars from past pimples are fading away! I haven't had any excema flare ups on my face! It's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

This is genuinely my favourite product now. I use it morning and night as a moisturiser. There is no scent as far as I can tell which is great, I don't like putting smelly things on my face. The packaging is lovely, simple but expensive looking (maybe cos it is expensive..!). Regardless of the price when my sample runs out I am definitely buying more, it is so so worth it. I love it!

Tips: Apply morning before your makeup and evening before going to bed. Suitable for EVERYONE - gets rid of scars, doesn't clog pores and cause breakouts, super moisturising, great even for sensitive skin and excema. Go get it!!

Absolute wonder product!

My skin has been all over the place since winter started, some days its dry and irritated, and others its a pimply mess, and still others its oily and irritated!

I got given the leftovers of a friends bottle, and started using it at night and within days my skin was no longer irritated. The oiliness wasn't so noticeable either, and I didn't have the same amount of pimples either for some reason!

I've since gone out and bought almost off the trilogy range and I love it.

Faintly scented, and absorbs quickly. It doesn't sit on the skin being all slimy and gross, just sinks in within minutes and leaves skin looking gorgeous and dewy

Tips: It spreads with the warmth of your skin, and you don't need much. One drop is enough for each cheek and forehead. If you need extra moisture, add under your normal moisturiser

Very beautiful skin care oil

I use a lot of natural oils and Trilogy rosehip is one of the best I use it for a few different purposes.. I use this on my face at night as a moisturizing treatment and when i'm not wearing makeup, it instantly brightens and evens my complexion leaving it looking dewy clean & fresh without ever clogging pores.

This oil is also quite good used as a cleanser as i have only recently become aware of after reading a BR article about oil cleansers i gave this one a go and it's very affective at removing makeup. I've also been using this oil on scars & stretch marks on and off for a while and i do believe that it helps to smooth these stubborn inperfections. It's also great for spots, redness, dryness & rashes.

This product may seem a bit pricey considering the compact size of it but a little really goes a long way and there will never be any waste by accidently pouring out too much with the drop applicator. The oil is non greasy and quite slow absorbing keeping your skin hydrated & looking fresh for quite some time, probably an especially good product for anyone prone to dryness.

Magic elixir

I am totally sold and convinced on Rosehip oil after using this product.

I suffer from really bad Eczema between my fingers and Psoriasis on my wrists.. I take a supplement that really helps with the dryness aspect and makes my skin a lot less prone to the freak outs.. But I am still left with quite nasty looking redness/scaring which makes me very self conscious.

I have been using this for about a Week, Morning and Night and I saw results almost instantly. One drop on each spot that I want to treat!

Not only does this give relief and hydrate the skin.. It has started to CLEAR up the redness and the scaring and has actually started to clear up the Psoriasis on my wrists.

This is such a pleasure to use and soaks into the skin wonderfully without leaving my hands and wrists all greasy.

Tips: The dropper makes this product so easy to use without mess. Drop a drop onto your skin concern and let it work its magic!

Where have you been hiding?

I’ve been putting off writing a review for this product because I can’t tell you anything new that previous reviewers have already mentioned.

Years and years ago I used another brand of Rosehip Seed Oil when I was less educated on the “what to do/not to do’s” of skin care for oily and acne prone skin and I wasn’t impressed with that then so I was absolutely sceptical of all the rave reviews I’ve read about this one.

Having become more educated through tireless research and trial and errors I figured out it was probably a good time to give Rosehip Oil another chance.

I’m glad I did.

I was using Paula’s Choice Resist C15 Super Booster and I loved the effect it had on my skin. Trouble was, it was awfully watery and I was going through it fast so I wanted something that was equally as good and easier to get hold of so I decided to give this a try. My expectations were non existent but boy was I surprised!

Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil did not disappoint and it has since become a favourite of mine and something to look forward to as the last step in my nightly skincare regime.

Just three drops split evenly over my cheeks and chin and one drop spread over my forehead is more than enough to soothe and moisturise my skin (I still use a serum and my regular moisturiser too!).

This little gem ticks all my boxes, no overpowering smell, no breakouts, helps to heal any blemishes that do pop up, clears up scars, doesn’t make my skin oily during the day (I only use it at night but some moisturisers can cause my skin to have an oily residue during the day) and in fact I noticed I get a lovely glow under my foundation from using this. It’s not enough for someone to comment on but I can recognise it when I look in the mirror. By using it at night it also preps my skincare for the morning and helps my make up stay nice and fresh all day.

When you put it on it is of course quite oily but it does sink in after 5-10 mins and leaves a lovely fresh look. I don’t think I would want to use it in the mornings though.

It is a rich amber colour and I’m sorry but I can’t comment on whether it will stain your pillowcase as I use a dark blue silk one that doesn’t show marks easily.

Like I said, I was this products worst sceptic but now I’m its biggest convert! I absolutely adore it and am glad I took the risk to try it.

Tips: Apply before you use your moisturiser in the evenings. This will help your skin absorb the goodness with the warmth of your hands when you apply your moisturiser.

Amazing skin care product

I have been using trilogy's rosehip oil regularly for over the past one and a half years. The product goes so far I am only on my second bottle and still have plenty left' when I first used the product I noticed a difference after the first 3 days of using it. It made the appearance of my skin tone much more even and helped get rid of scars and discolouration. I use it as a facial moisturiser and treatment every night before I go to bed. I also apply some to my eyelashes and they have grown so much ! It's amazing ! Whenever I get a scar or need to relieve a dry patch of skin I apply the oil and it helps a whole heap. This would be one of my holy grail products.

Tips: Only need a few drops to cover your face.
