I have oily-combination skin and Rosehip oil has never really done anything for me. However, when I got this in a box of Goodness Starter kit, it was a great chance to try another oil, without the massive commitment.
I've been using it for about 8 weeks, and I love it! I only use it at night after a double cleanse, and my skin has never looked so good and clear. In the Starter kit, you get a tiny tiny bottle, it is super cute and has a little dropper, I found this was the perfect amount, but even when I used too much, my skin did not mind and my pillow case was fine too. There is a slight oily smell, but it is quite pleasant and doesn't last long. This is the oil I will be purchasing from now on.
Like others I was lucky enough to win a bottle of this chia seed oil from Goodness and found it a pleasure to use. I found it moisturising enough to use both morning and night without moisturiser, and 3 drops was generally all I needed (4 if my skin was extra dry) so the bottle lasted a decent amount of time. The scent was nutty but mild and definitely bearable - I don’t actually remember if I noticed a scent when I used it, and I had to smell the now empty bottle to recall the scent.
It was my first time using a chia seed oil so I wasn’t sure how my oily/acne prone skin would react. The website claims it doesn't clog pores and that it's good for combo skin, and my experience definitely supports that - I had no problems at all and my skin seemed to love the product. It absorbed easily and didn't leave me looking oily. I’d happily purchase it for myself as it’s a no fuss product that works just as it should.
Tips: I like to add a drop to my foundation each day - it makes my foundation go on more smoothly and means it never gets stuck on flaky patches of skin.
