NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner For Very Dry Skin Review

I was eager to try this product as I like to moisturise every day but firstly I feel the bottle is all wrong. It is hard to squeeze the lotion out and even harder when you near the end of the bottle. It really needs changed to a pump. I felt I used more in each application than I would of compared to an amount I would normally moisturise with. I did not like the feel of it on my hands and it left them almost feeling waxy and I felt the need to wash my hands with soap to get rid of it. The smell is okay but I am not convinced it works as a good moisturiser and would rather remain with applying a moisturiser out of the shower. Disappointed it was not a winner for me as I had high hopes for this product.

I got this product in the beauty box. I love it. It is a easy way to moisterise your body whilst in the shower. The smell is nice and not too strong. I washed my skin in the shower then put on the moisteriser. I left it on for about 3 minutes then rinsed off. Once I got out I felt how soft my skin felt. Such a convenient time saver

I received this in my December Beauty Box and was quite excited to use it as I thought this would be a perfect product to use in the shower for a lazy person like me. I have only been disappointed in this product frankly than to write any good things about it. Firstly the bottle is thick hard plastic which makes it difficult to squeeze out the lotion. Need very strong hands and power to squeeze out the last bit of lotion. Secondly the product is supposed to save time by using it in shower instead of applying after shower. It doesn't really save any time as I had to apply the lotion first and then rinse it off so that's an added step for a lazy person like me. haha I know it's insane but I have to look at quick steps to get ready for work on the weekdays. Thirdly, the lotion doesn't moisturise my skin at all. I end up applying extra body lotion as I feel the lotion leaves my skin dry, I don't see my skin getting hydrated with the lotion. I wouldn't have minded the first two complaints if the product had actually worked on me as I aim to get my skin well moisturised. I am surely envious of people on whom it has worked great but sadly not on me.

What a wonderful Nivea product this in shower body lotion is! I've always preferred Nivea moisturizer over other brands out there but wasn't convinced that an in shower conditioner would truly work. I have been totally amazed by the results though and this product is definitely something I will be continuing to buy.

I really liked the packaging of this product, it looks different to body wash in the shower so it isnt something my hubby would pick up by mistake & is clearly written on the bottle easy to follow directions. The lid is easy to open but at the same time has a good tight seal so no water gets into the bottle or lid like with some other products. This product smells the same as Nivea body moisturizer which is a smell I really like - it isn't too strong or over powering so it doesn't matter when mixed with the smell of your perfume etc.

The consistency of Nivea in shower conditioner is just perfect - a little bit thicker than your normal body wash & I found that it spreads easily meaning a little goes a long way. Something that is always gota be a good thing - it's great value for money when a product is going to last awhile before running out.

When I first tried this product I was 40weeks pregnant and the in shower conditioner for very dry skin was perfect for me. Within a week of using it I noticed a big difference in the dryness of my skin. Within this time I also had our baby & upon returning home I naturally had a lot less time for myself so this product was even greater as its so quick n easy! I have to say without it I definitely wouldn't have the time to moisturise any more and my skin would be suffering. Totally recommend this product to others! :)

I received this product in my beauty review box in December and have finally got around to using it. To start with I got my yougest to try it as he has really dry skin and he seem to like it and he felt nice and smooth after a shower so I tried it and love it. The only problem I have with the product is how we are ment to get it out when our hands are smallish and reather wet and slippery, it is a big bottle and is hard at times to sqeeze out I think it would be better in a pump bottle, the other issue I have is it can make the shower floor slippery so you need to take abit of care when getting out, but it dose have a warning on the back of it anyway, apart from that I love it my legs feel great as I tend to forget them when I get out of the shower. When I'm drying myself I notice the difference, everything feels nice and moisturized. It is a nice creamy consistency

I bought this when it first came out as I love the idea of an in shower body conditioner, especially in winter so I can stay in the shower longer! It was ok at moisturising but that meant the awkward shaped bottle also kept slipping out of my hands! I really didn't like the smell either. I didn't intend to buy this again but did when I ran out of body lotion on holiday in Brazil. It was great in a hot climate as I found I couldn't apply normal body lotion easily as I would be sweating as soon as I got out of the shower. It was in a smaller bottle but the plastic split and it ended up leaking all the way round Brazil! I guess this just isn't for me!

Let's start by saying I'm lazy... by the time I've finished washing my hair, shaving my legs, rinsing, drying off and then trying to tame my hair I just can't be bothered applying moisturiser. Nivea has come up with the absolute best solution to this problem (my laziness) and allow me to moisturise in the shower! It's fantastic and amazing and oh so exciting. The smell is nice and in no way overpowering. It feels fabulous when I put it on and as soon as I step out and dry off I can feel the difference in my skin. I was dubious at first but I have been converted and this is definitely going on my permanent shopping list for the future. Love it

Not too sure what to think about this one. It does moisturise my skin but not to the point where it's amazing. The squeeze bottle is also really hard to use in the shower. But it works as a good alternative to shaving cream.

This is such a great concept and definitely saves time. I was a bit sceptical when I first heard about it but was given some samples and I absolutely love it. After applying, I do wait a minute or two before rinsing. This product does exactly what it advertises - my skin really does feel silky smooth after using this - even better than some usual moisturisers. I know I will appreciate it even more in the winter when you definitely don't want to stand in the cold applying moisturiser - problem solved!

I received this product in my December Beauty Box and was so excited to trial it after reading so many rave reviews. I have to say- either I have midget hands or the rest of the world must have super strong hulk hands!!!!! The in shower moisturiser comes in a large, wide plastic bottle which dispenses product from the bottom. It took two hands and an almighty squeeze to get the product out and this only got harder as your hands got slippery from using it! Unfortunately, for me the packaging completely over rides any positives- if you can't get the lotion out, it doesn't matter how good it is. And it IS a very good moisturiser- it is rich and lightly scented and leaves your skin silky. I love the concept and feel with a complete overhaul of the packaging, it could be a must have for my beauty routine.
