This is a simple convenient lip balm to have handy in your car,purse,gym bag etc. Its bright fun colours make it easy to find and I like that you don't use fingers to apply. They have a great fragrance, I've got the anti-oxidant berry (not tinted) and its yum! Ive never taken notice how long it really hydrates for as I like to apply lip balm all throughout the day.
Overall a great priced balm which feels nice on lips and the tube has seemed to last me ages. Would purchase again.
Hydrating and easy to use, antioxidants are used so they keep your lips looking fab, can use daily and very cheap as well considering the cute packaging. Have tried a couple of them and have absolutely loved them ever since.
The first thing that drew me to the Baby Lips lip balms was the packaging! There are a large variety of 'flavours' and the designs on each lip balm compliment the unique choices that are available. I don't know why but having products that have got cute packaging make them that more exciting and enjoyable to use! The lip balm is very moisturising and the different scents are absolutely beautiful as well. I mean, cute packaging, moisturising and pleasant scents, what more could a girl wish for in a lip balm? And to top it all of the price tag is so inexpensive which means that these cute little lip balms can always be a staple in your makeup bag :)
Tips: If I'm having a makeup day, I always apply my lip balm straight after I have moisturised my face. I then go on to apply foundation, concealer, mascara etc and apply my lipgloss/lipstick last. This is so that I give my lip balm the chance to really soak into my lips and ensure that they're nice and moisturised before I apply other lip products to them :)
Baby Lips is an okay lip balm, yes, but they are nothing special. I think these are way too hyped compared to the quality. I just see them as tinted lip balms and i do not really see them as anything special at all. I have had three now and it is still not in my purse yet.
I absolutely love these! I found them really moisturizing and make my lips feel so soft - they definitely do what you'd expect from a good lip balm. Also have a great selection of flavors, and smell amazing!
Tips: I think once you start using these (if using for the first time) stick to using them for about a week until your lips get used to them. When I first purchased one I remember I was switching between a few other products and my lips got a bit cracked, but once I stuck to using these my lips were fine.
I got the baby lips because I'd seen the popular girls at school use it and I thought it was the new trend in town, and wanted to be a part of the charade. Made my lips feel soft and hydrated. I was really pleased, however I don't recommend the pink tint one as it doesn't do as great a job at moisturising then the normal ones.
Tips: Make sure you exfoliate your lips before use, for full advantage of this product
Baby lips gets a generally good review from me. They are inexpensive, they smell amazing and last for a long time. I use mine most days and get around 6 months use out of a stick. I like the normal releases with great scents, but the colour tints I'm not convinced on. The red tint is great because it is light and can almost appear natural. However the pink tints are absurd and very bright! I didn't love my pink one so I stopped using it. My favourite is the cherry ones, so yummy! Overall I would use the product again, its a great staple.
I had seriously dry lips and I couldn't find my usual product so grabbed this on off the shelf (the baby blue and pink one). For a start-it tasted so good! It didn't leave a slimy sort of residue on my lips and it didn't smear either. My lips felt so soft after using it for one day (applying repeatedly a few times). For a couple of bucks this is a pretty sweet deal and I keep one handy in my bag for if ever I have dry lips. I'd love to try the tinted ones for double benefit of soft lips, the great smell and a natural tint as well!
I do enjoy the fruity flavour of this lip balm and it does help to relieve sore lips, however I find that after a few hours it clumps up on my lips and in the corners of my mouth. I prefer to use an ointment based product on my lips. However it is very easy to carry around in a handbag which is a plus.
Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm was a bit of an expected disappointment. Compared to other lip balms such as Nivea it was equally as moisturising and slightly more expensive. However it did not moisturise my lips for 8 hours or renew them in one week. For that I would still go to pawpaw ointment or vaseline jelly.
However as I do like to carry a tube lip balm in my bag at all times, I did like that this one was bright coloured and therefore easy to find in my bag. Though I wasn't so fussed on BABY being written in huge letters, it felt a little tacky to me.
I did also like the fragrance/flavours the baby lip balms came in.
Overall, I would buy it again if other lip balms were about the same price.
