While the LUSH showcase was happening, pictures of this bomb were leaked, and it was coveted far and wide because it was new and well, looked awesome! It looks amazing with the design, which reminds me a lot of dragon scales. Other than looking awesome, I wasn’t expecting much.
The smell wasn’t something I’d usually go for. It’s spicy thanks to the pepper and cinnamon, but it’s a warm spicy that reminds me of a cold winter night sitting by the fire. In the bath, the grey design fizzles away and after a while colors begin to emerge – pinks, oranges, yellows. It reminded me a lot of Dumbledore’s Phoenix, Fawkes, in that the Phoenix bursts into flames, and rises from its own ashes to be beautiful once again.
The smell wasn’t overpowering, but it was powerful, and it stuck to my skin for dear life. Not that I’m complaining, I smelled like a giant cinnamon stick. It was also super moisturizing, and my skin was soft and supple, and so very warm. While I wouldn’t buy this bomb again, it was really delightful and perfect for a stormy winter night.
