Trilogy Hemphip™ Balancing Oil

This product is quite unique. It is light and easily absorbed, like a drink for skin. It is fragrance free however has a green type fragrance which is pleasant from the Hemp oil and Rosemary oil. Skin feels restored and balanced after application, there is no oily or greasy feeling as it quickly penetrates the skins surface. Skin feels instantly soothed and hydrated and looks plump and healthy. The applicator dropper let's you control easily the amount to apply and the glass packaging gives a luxurious appeal as well as renewable and recyclable. This product is filled with great natural ingredients that really stack up. I look forward to applying it after cleansing. Great product.

As someone who has had oily skin for many years, I never wanted to add more oil to my skin, but this is a game changer. The mix of hemphip, olive and salicylic acid is a dream team to apply after cleansing, the mix of ingredients help to hydrate and lock in moisture, while mildly exfoliating. 2-3 drops is perfect for my face and neck and I find that the oil soaks in nice and quickly. The 20ml glass bottle with dropper is very practical. Love this!

I really loved using this oil. Having comination skin, I find it can be challenging to find an oil that will do what I need. I started off by using it every night and morning but with sensitive skin I did start to break out a little so just went to night time use every other day and it was fine. I am in love with the scent, the lemon myrtle is so fresh smelling and uplifting. The oil absorbs easily into my skin and there was no oily residue left over and really made my skin feel lovely and hydrated. I would definitely use this product again. Well done Trilogy of a fantastic product!

The oil arrived in the lovely Trilogy packaging which makes you feel like you're in for a treat!

Cute little bottle with a pipette makes it easy to dispense this oil as you don't need to pick the bottle up after unscrewing the lid. I followed the instructions but as I have skin on the drier side of combination, I had to use an extra drop than was recommended. I thought is would go on more easily but it did feel quite 'dry' (that's the best way I can describe it) to apply so I often felt like I was dragging it around my face, even using more of the product.

It absorbed really quickly, rather than leaving an oily layer on the skin. But that could also be down to my lovely dehydrated skin needing the moisture!

I felt like it provided a great base for the moisturiser and, whether it's true or not, it felt like an opportunity to seal in the benefits of the oil when moisturising.

Later in the day I would often end up with greasy patches but I can't honestly say the oil contributed to that as immediately after use this wasn't the case. I think that was just my skin's normal oil production.

Overall my skin felt and looked great after using the oil (and the rest of the regime).

I use this as part of my morning routine and so far, I’m really enjoying it. It’s a light oil, which is really good for daytime and 2-3 drops is plenty. I always try to use natural products where I can so I love that this is a natural blend and that it’s organic. It absorbs really easily and makes my skin feel so soft and supple.

I was quite excited to try this product as it’s my first hemp related product. I applied a couple of drops every morning and night after washing my face. It gets absorbed by the skin quickly and does not leave any oily residue. I have to say it gave a new life to my face, with my skin coming alive after a week. My face feels very soft and hydrated. It has no fragrance. I absolutely am in love with this Oil and definitely recommend it to all.

The oil comes in an amber glass bottle with a dropper lid. It contains five oils - hemp seed, rosehip, grape, jojoba & olive. Salicylic acid is included to exfoliate & smooth the skin. The idea is to use after cleansing, massaging 2-3 drops onto face, neck & décolletage to nourish, rebalance & hydrate. The first night I used this I squeezed too hard on the dropper & applied too much & I felt like I had landed in a vat of chip shop oil. However after I wiped some off & massaged it in, it absorbed quite well. I therefore didn’t put the lotion on top & went to bed with a shiny face! Once I had figured out that two small drops were enough, I continued to use it morning & night & applied the lotion afterwards. I was afraid it would be too oily for day time wear especially with the moisturising lotion on top but it wasn’t. As mentioned - it absorbs really well. I will actually use it as a night mask (by applying too much as stated earlier) now & again as I liked the effect. The only downside (a small one) is that it has a fairly strong smell (lemony) so I avoided using too much on my neck & décolletage in the morning in case it interfered with my perfume, but at night I slapped it on! I left it a little while before applying the moisturising lotion to allow it to be fully absorbed.

There is something about Trilogy products that feels so luxurious and a real treat for my skin, and this product is no different.

After cleansing my face, I use the Hemphip Balancing Oil at night. The oil is lightweight and absorbs really well in my skin. It is also fragrance free, which I like especially when I am applying just before bed.

The oil comes in a glass bottle, which I really like to help reduce the amount of plastic being used.

Highly recommend this product for anyone with oily or combination skin. It goes really well with the Mattifying Moisturising Lotion and the Clarifying Cleansing Gel for reducing overall shine.

I absolutely love this Balancing oil. I find it absorbs into my skin and it doesn't leave any oily residue behind which is fantastic because I have used this type of product previous and most of the time I'm left with an oil slick across my face. My skin tone and problem areas seem to a lot better after using this product. My oily Tzone and dry patches around my chin area have significantly reduced and my skin is looking a lot more even toned which I'm loving. I love the subtle fragrance and the dropper bottle it's in is great. You only need a very small amount of this so as well as being really, really good for my skin it's well worth the price as it will last for a good long while. I love this skincare.

Packaging is your traditional facial oil dropper bottle in amber glass.

Smells very strongly of lemongrass which I dislike but the product is too good not to add to your collection.

I add around 4 drops and rub my hands together and then pat into the skin after my moisturiser, oils absorb into creams better than the other way around.

It does give off a tingle but that’s because of the salicylic acid.

My skin looks so much clearer and healthy after using the range.

The facial oil really makes my skin glow! Not oily just fresh and glowy.

This is my favourite skincare brand now!
